They are a talented, creative, energetic, and ethical team!!! They and their crew take immense pride in their work and really seem to enjoy what they do. We had some ideas of what we wanted, and they translated it into the backyard of our dreams! It came out even better than we could have imagined!!! They lead with a positive and respectful manner which results in their crew also taking great pride in their work. Their leadership motivated their team to create a beautiful backyard. Gustavo and his crew were on time and worked hard even though it was over 100 degrees on many days!!! When they finished their work for the day, they removed any trash that they could. They started with a completely barren piece of land and installed irrigation, plants, trees, small grassy area (for our dog), uplighting, patio, sidewalks and built gorgeous stone planter boxes with a waterfall for a center piece!!! It is wonderful to sit out back reading and listening to the calming sounds of our waterfall. If our day is stressful, this is the place we go to rejuvenate. We let Ariel and Gustavo know that they are welcome to bring potential new clients to see our backyard. Please come check it out!!! What you see will not disappoint!!!

We had been sitting on a landscape design and needed someone to bring the vision to reality. Brandon immediately translated our plan into his software so we could discuss options and take on suggestions for improvement. He was quick and precise in making adjustments to appease our HOA and fit within our budget. The crew was meticulous in their work on the yard. If it was on the plan it was replicated in the yard. If we saw something that needed a slight adjustment they were happy to accommodate. I recall a situation where we needed a concrete walkway to go wider around an AC unit. The crew quickly responded by forming a wider path. Nate was great at scheduling project dates and also helped to make sure our AC units were reinstalled in a timely manner after our concrete was poured. We were relieved to have them up and running again before a forecasted heat wave arrived. Brandon was there at every stage of the project and was always quick to respond. He was at the nursery with us when it came time to choose the plants, making suggestions for plants that best fit our specific environment. During the middle of construction a rain storm hit our area and we had some concerns about how the yard would handle it in an unfinished state. He came out late at night to make sure the drainage would be okay until the storm passed. Upon completion of the project he was there to make sure everything was tidied up after the final walkthrough. If someone were to ask me for a recommendation on a yard install or remodel I would surely tell them to call Reliable Landscape and Design.

I spoke to Mike first and he was very helpful and informative and patiently answered all my questions. He and his team kept this responsiveness and quality experience throughout the whole project. This company is also very honest. They accidentally underquoted me for the project, but they honored their original price without hesitation. They also demonstrated flexibility by working with me on scheduling and adapting to our needs. I had a question about our sprinkler system after they finished and they got back to me with an answer right away. Not only do I think the new retaining wall looks fantastic, but even my gardener, who sees a lot of this type of work, was impressed. He commented that he could tell Stuteville Landscaping took their time, didn't skip any steps, and performed high-quality work. Our consult with John was thorough, and he really listened to what we wanted. He made some suggestions, and let us know the approximate pricing right upfront so we knew what to expect on the written estimate. The written estimate included pricing for each element. We appreciated this because we clearly understood the costs, unlike other estimates we had gotten beforehand. The total price matched our expectations, and we felt very comfortable that we were getting a fair and transparent quote. Once we agreed on the plan, we scheduled the work for about a month later. John walked us through how to put plants on hold at the nursery and explained everything else we needed to know. Communication throughout the process was very clear and consistent. On all the work days, the crew showed up right one time, and John was there every morning to check on things and do much of the work himself. He also ensured we knew how to use the sprinkler timer and what the sod needed for the first few weeks. The whole job was completed in four days! The crew also left our patio and driveway perfectly clean and washed down; it looks better now than it did before. We will use Caligreen for all future jobs, and we can't recommend them highly enough!

The plans were visually appealing, prompting the commencement of work promptly. The concrete contractor, Frank, was responsible for installing the sidewalks. The results were exceptional. (My backyard is sloped from left to right, presenting a significant drainage challenge.) Mike accompanied me to Green Acres to select my plants. His expertise in plant selection was invaluable in ensuring that my preferences were met. Following the installation of the drainage and irrigation systems, the hardscape work commenced. It looked good for about one year and then reverted back to what was there before! They had just done cosmetic work, not rehab! Four years ago, my brother had Master Pavers do landscaping and pavers on his property. I have watched it "grow" and it is as good as it was the day they finished the job. July 2026 I contacted M.P. and scheduled an estimate. Work started a little over a week later and took 8 weeks to complete. Our front and back yard is transformed! We cannot believe how beautiful it looks. Lucy's design was perfect for our space and needs. We also want to give a shout out to the men who did the work! They are incredible and worked under difficult conditions (days that were over 100') in the sun. The very last thing they did was "clean up" and that was impressive as well, because the "tear out" was very messy! When they left, everything looked perfect.
