We hired The Grounds Company for a major backyard cleanup, and I honestly can't recommend them enough. Our yard had gotten away from us after years of neglect, and with a new dog in the family, we wanted him to have a safe, open space to enjoy. After doing some research, I found The Grounds Company and decided to reach out -- best decision we made! Sebastian, the owner, is incredibly professional and just an all-around great guy. He came out for a consultation, walked the entire yard with us, and within a few hours we had a clear, itemized estimate that was very reasonable. The breakdown included everything: overgrown weed removal, tree trimming, debris haul-away, and even stump removal. Rain caused a couple of delays, but Sebastian was always quick to communicate and had us rescheduled within days. On the day of service, Sebastian and another crew member arrived earlier than scheduled and got right to work. They worked fast, efficiently, and did a tremendous job transforming the yard. What used to be an overgrown, cluttered mess is now clean, open, and dog-friendly. Our dog was absolutely stoked once the work was done -- the backyard is officially his turf now! If we ever need more work done, we're definitely calling Sebastian again. Highly recommend The Grounds Company if you're looking for honest pricing, professional service, and amazing results. read more

Sebastian was a pleasure to work with. He planted 50 shrubs for us in the spring. Communicating with him was easy and clear. One of the shrubs died over the summer and he honored his warranty and came back and replaced it with no questions asked. I recommend him with complete confidence and look forward to working with him again for a future project. read more

Sebastian is awesome! We had some bushes we wanted removed and some general backyard cleanup we needed. He was very responsive and got us a good quote right away. His schedule was very flexible. He got here on time. He did the work quickly and he did a great job! He's also super friendly. We were so happy with the work that we'll be hiring his company to do our monthly backyard maintenance. Highly recommend! Update: Sebastian came the next week to plant three small trees we purchased. The experience reiterated how great he is! Again, he was super responsive and thorough, and had some great tips for how to keep the trees healthy. In addition to our monthly backyard maintenance, we will be going to Sebastian for all of our landscaping needs. We really can't say enough good things about him! read more

Sebastian and his team did an excellent job installing a French drain in our front yard, removing plants that were too close to the house, and installing a drip irrigation system including a new valve with pressure regulator and filter. All this work was needed to keep water away from our house where it had previously caused damage. I had to wait a couple of weeks for The Grounds Company to have an opening in their schedule to do the work. But hiring Sebastian was worth the wait. He wrote a detailed bid that was reasonable, was great at communicating, followed through on all of the work that I contracted for, and cleaned up the jobsite when finished. I highly recommend hiring Sebastian and The Grounds Company for any of your landscaping projects. read more

Sebastian helped me with not one but two thorny messy yards. He was responsive, easy to schedule and most important, cares deeply about producing quality work. Just as an example, he asked for a different date to do the work when rain was on the forecast as wet grass wouldn't result in clean yard that I was looking for. A good landscaper is hard to find. It's one of those trades that seems easy on the surface but somehow impossible find good quality ones unless you've got an established relationship with someone. Sebastian is someone you want to build rapport with, as he'll make sure your yard looks show ready at all time. read more

Sebastian helped me a great deal with miscellaneous items that needed attention. He really knows what he is doing.

We hired SUV to clean up a lot of lava rock. When I say a lot I mean a lot. More than he anticipated. Realizing he underquoted us he still completed the job even though he did come out of pocket. I opted to tip him heavily but he refused. He did a great job and we are very very grateful for the work he did and I will recommend him over and over again and refer him constantly. read more

Contacted SUV Landscaping to remove the weeds on the side/backyard of our house. Sebastian was great! Our initial visit, he was able to get rid of most of our weeds but because it rained the next few days, some weeds grew back quickly. Sebastian already knew that would happen and said to contact him if we see any more. And we did! He back came almost a month later to remove any more weeds that grew back. Very reliable and punctual. Definitely recommend SUV Landscaping! read more

Sebastian came by promptly at the arranged time to give me an estimate for an overgrown yard. His estimate was very reasonable. He let me know that he would reach out for scheduling after I agreed to start work. The next day he let me know he had a spot in his schedule that day! He came by and did the majority of the work, then came in on another day to finish. He was very thorough with the work and remembered everything that we had asked him to do, and was very prompt with communication throughout the process. Would definitely consider him for future projects and/or maintenance! read more
