Been coming here before the move and renovations!!... Absolutely love their menu, quick service and family-friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend The Country Style Eggs Benny, Turkey Club, LHP Burger or Tuna Melt. Employees are extremely friendly, attentive and the food is always hot and delicious. Super clean, spacious for people of all sizes, cold air conditioning too (which is a big deal to me). Whenever I have family come into town, this is where I bring them. Bagel; add $1, cream cheese; add $1, egg white; add $1, tomatoes instead of potatoes; add $1...that would be fine if she would tell you about the up charges but you won't find out until you receive your check...petty little charges that leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. Two of us came in to eat breakfast. The wait staff only focused on their regular customers and could not have been bothered seating us. Then when we did get seated, we were ignored. People who came in after us were seated and had orders taken. My dining partner is a well respected and prominent stylist in Fort Lauderdale for 30 years and he was feeling that our service was so poor because he is gay. We left. However the owner and several members of the wait staff are a little too free with racial slurs I have heard the owner himself personally use the N-word make comments about for African-AmericansAsk them to move to a foretop and then made a comment saying they're not going to tip anyway! Great omelette, delicious eggs benedict. Continued the tradition of trying biscuits and gravy on the side, they're good in their own way but they are not Southern style biscuits and gravy. Biscuits didn't rise much and seemed refried, gravy had way more either fresh sage or thyme than we're used to. They were still good, just not plain old Southern. So so sad to have to write a bad review. Today I want here for my second breakfast to try them again because my first time was so great! First I sat at the breakfast bar with a friend we had amazing service and the food was really good. Today I sat on the actual dining floor and it took the girl about 10 minutes to even come greet us. The people outside even had better service than we did. She did answer the questions about the menu very well. We went ahead and ordered and by then we were out of coffee took her another 15 minutes to bring us coffee by the time the food came the person that I was with the not enjoy their omelette. The other waitress went over and brought us a pancake which we did not order in our server brought over French toast which apparently wasn't for our table also the other server grabbed it and brought it back to the kitchen. We were both very confused about what was going on. You're never supposed to take back a plate after his touch the table. I learned this when I was a server. We then got the right French toast and it Chyna had a very strange flavor to it it was the coconut crusted French toast. I didn't joy the exit I had it was called the hot stacker I think with corn beef hash and hash brown and an egg on top tell them light on the cheese because they really smart everything with cheese. The time before I did have the avocado toast which I will say was the best thing on the menu because it was fresh the toast was really crispy and there was a balsamic glaze on top which really made it for me and avocados are perfectly ripe but that again was my first time now my second time has been ruined and I don't think I will return unfortunately. One other thing I have to mention is that when we were waiting for a check to be cashed with our credit cards just took an extra 10 minutes and we were there a total of almost 2 hours which was a lot.The staff was very nice but they were like clueless and lazy and you have to actually begged them to come help you. We went here a few days after Christmas and it took over an hour for a table, which you know I understand we were a bigger party (a party of 6) so once we all sat down we were very hungry and very thirsty. The waitress took our order and that was it, we never saw her again... OH WAIT YES WE DID she was sitting down at the table next to us eating. Now I am not complaining about her eating. BUT food was wrong, our drinks were NEVER refilled (not once) and we saw her sitting and eating. She could have come by and asked if we needed anything before she sat down to eat. Or had another server watch her tables. But like nothing. Also the food was OK, not the best but definitely not worth waiting an hour for, and definitely not worth the horrible service. Not happy with this place at all. I walked in with my business partner. We're standing there by the door waiting for instructions for at least 3 minutes while servers walk by and don't even acknowledge us. By the time we actually sat down, another couple sat down behind us and they get served before us. It takes at least another 10 minutes to get coffee, and another 5 to get any milk or creamer to go with the coffee. Really unimpressed with the customer service here. I understand that this diner has been in the community for quite a few years and in the past couple of years has moved to its present location. First impression is how clean the place is. I had a typical diner breakfast: scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage links and rye toast. The sausage links were bigger than normally served at many diners, I just didn't care for them. The hash browns were 2 patties, not fresh hash browns. Disappointing only because I have the same at home in my freezer. Friend I was with had pancakes, bacon, over easy eggs and rye toast too. He was not pleased with the way his eggs were cooked. He didn't want to say anything to the waitress about them. We don't like to cause trouble. Bacon were tiny too. Cute little diner in a strip mall that is quite difficult to get to. The service is great, but slow. Very friendly staff, but for a diner I would expect quicker service. I ordered the green wrap and it came out extremely soggy, plate covered in liquid and tasted totally bland. I sent it back, which I very rarely do! The waitress suggested I try the cranberry turkey wrap because they make the turkey fresh in house. I thought it was definitely better than the first item I had, but the turkey was dry and wrap was mediocre. My partner had an omelet, egg was very dry and no toppings incorporated into the egg all just finely chopped in the middle. It was not the most appetizing at all. Fries are frozen, hashBrowns are frozen, corned beef hash is from a can, etc. it is not a homemade mom and pop diner in my opinion and food is mediocre.
