This place is a gem! They were so helpful with my dietary restrictions and went out of their way to read the ingredients of my chai latte without me even asking. I made the mistake of ordering the latte thinking it was dairy free but the barista came out to my table to discuss and offer another option. Usually having to be gluten free and dairy free I am nervous about ordering but they made me very comfortable. I will be back, this is my new spot! Plus they had hemp milk, which I'm obsessed with. I am sitting here at the cutest place ever. OMG. it's early March, and it's packed inside. there are 2 larger tables in here that are both taken up by really cute people having meetings or some-such. I was lucky enough to get here at a time where I can have a small table all to myself, right by the window with a great view!! I am from seattle and needed to get out of town to study. I will DEFINITELY be coming here again. (and, I cringe thinking of this place in the summertime - it's gotta be nutso). but anyway - the staff are super friendly, helpful, attentive, and cute in a homey sort of way. the atmosphere inside is all cozey and warm-fuzzy-like. it's a tad bit too loud, but that's mostly because I'm trying to study - obviously, easily solvable with headphones. I had a soy chai that was delish. I'll probably eat something later, too, I just couldn't wait to rave about this place. a note: I had seen earlier reviews about a lack of power outlets so my laptop is fully charged so I don't have to deal with that issue. another note: there are 2 even more amazing tables that look cozier than mine, but I feel uber guilty about being a single person and taking up one of these tables. another note: no one else come here. Cute place, great view and a nice spot to relax before catching the boat. Wifi, coffee, good food with a nice atmosphere, nice little garden outside as well being a unique feature. Among the best cafes even compared to Seattle! One will notice the local feel immediately upon venturing through what appears like the secret garden surrounded by outdoor seating and a phenomenal view of the waterfront view. On sunny days, the view is breathtaking even indoors with the large windows. Inside or out, there are plenty of large tables to study and royalty-like comfortable seating/benches. I've never come across a more comfortable area where I can eat, chill, converse, study, and bask in a small getaway like the Red Cup. With the in-your-face unique art breaking through the ceiling, it feels like I'm in a novel. There is window seating dedicated to reading and sunbathing. Adorable! I was running for my train and popped in to grab a coffee for the first time. I didn't even notice they were not open yet but that didn't stop the owner from welcoming me. They open at 7 but I walked in at 6:45 and it was not a problem, my coffee was delicious and the selection of pastries was just what I wanted. I will for sure be coming back for a weekend breakfast to check out the full menu. The shop is surrounded by flowers and art, very relaxing. I stopped in for a tea and ended up thoroughly enjoying a vegan avocado wrap loaded with veggies (the owner gave me extra veggies in place of cheese - yay!) and a couple hours of free WiFi. It was easy to relax while laptopping and looking out to the gorgeous views through the expansive windows overlooking the water. I had been to this coffee shop a few years ago when it was the Mukilteo coffee shop. I had ordered a decaf non fat latte, and the waitress poked fun at me I thought that was kind of odd. "No punch latte" I dunno on a good day I might have found it funny, but not that day. The latte was very good either way. so sad about the the name change. read more

Was unsure about having a quinoa burrito, but it was pretty good. My second time having quinoa, and still getting used to the texture. The mango salsa was the perfect side with this dish. My gf had the ham and swiss croissant, she really enjoyed the croissant, but the ham seemed a tad dry. Overall though, still a good sandwich. I love the Red Cup...in particular, I love the place and the people. The staff is friendly and seems to really enjoy being there. That, in turn, makes everybody feel like they belong at the cafe. The drinks and menu are good, but it's the people which will bring you back (again and again and again). As for the food, the sandwiches are very satisfying (worth the price of admission). the meats and vegetables are fresh...and, they are hand made each time an order is placed. The big joy for me is the quinoa burrito (either for breakfast or lunch) with the mango salsa...healthy and delicious. read more

I love this place! The staff is always incredibly friendly and the cooks have a very familiar, motherly vibe. The drinks are great, however slightly overpriced. The sandwiches are good but not worth the price as well. I understand it is a smaller business and it can't have the same sandwich prices as bigger companies though. The reason I keep coming back is the adorable hometowney setting with a gorgeous view and an amazing garden patio with seating. The decorations are so cute! read more

Great location and ambiance. Awesome view (when it's clear). Good food, albeit expensive. Dropped $60 on a light lunch for 3 adults and 3 children. When you're ordering bagel sandwiches on a plate with an orange slice, a $10/person avg price is pretty steep. Service is friendly. A bit slow during busy times, which seems to come in waves. Beware of excessive ferry traffic in summer months (be sure to go around it - which is legal). Use caution taking a free right at the intersection in front of the ferry line as it can be confusing. Good coffee. I recommend this place for a coffee fix and Internet access vs. bringing a group for lunch. If I wanted to drop $60+ on lunch for 3 adults and 3 kids, I'd rather go to Ivar's just down the street. read more

If you're ever needing a break from the ferry and highway commute, just pull over! This place is so relaxed, cozy... And it's surrounded by the greatest little maze of outdoor space, shared by the neighboring businesses. I can't wait to see it in all the different seasons. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed eating at Red Cup Cafe many times, its unfortunate that this review needs to take place. After the latest "mask mandate" I have visited (with my mask), though I step out as soon as possible. A few medical conditions prevent me from wearing it more than a few minutes so I need to avoid it as much as possible. But when I sent someone the other day to buy something, they told me a sign was put up that says: "No mask, no service". That is wrong on MANY levels, and unfortunately it has now ended any future visits to this establishment. And I will encourage family and friends to do the same. Such a shame. read more

I have to give three. It was crowded and busy yet with a nice atmosphere. Considering bow busy they were service was great friendly and accomodating. I got a bacon egg cheese croissant and daughter got bacon egg cheese on everything bagel. I ate it and egg bacon were good enough of an average quality but croissant fell apart and disintegrated as I ate the sandwich. Mushy mushy bread and took awhile. I absolutely love this cafe, it's so cute and cozy. They have a decent food selection for the size, there are multiple vegan and vegetarian options. My friend Renee and I meet here all the time because it is equal distance between both of our houses. We often get coffee and lunch here. The service is always great, the employees are smiling when they talk to you. That is important, no one likes a sad person making their food.
