I went to the Catalyst Cafe for the first time today. It was quiet and clean and bright. I loved the decor. Especially the bathroom! The staff was gracious and got my order ready to go in good time. Everything was delicious and i especially loved the little handmade bags and charms that are at the counter. I had to buy some of those too! Loved it and will definitely go back next time I'm in the Everett area.

Stopped into this brilliant new cafe for a little nosh this afternoon and was not disappointed. Excellent cold brew, chocolate decadence hot cocoa (with rainbow sprinkles and marshmallows!!), heavenly lemon pound cake, and a sugared donut rounded out our order. Super friendly team running the counter and an adorable cashier who impressed us with his mad skills! Will definitely be back again soon!

I stopped in here today to get a sandwich and a drink, kind of checking the place out since I had never heard of it before. Absolutely love it. My food is delicious, they have vegan substitutes that no up charge, and gluten-free options. The owner is incredibly nice and respectful. There is a good amount of seeding for a small cafe in Everett, and a pretty good menu selection. I really hope this place thrives and is able to be open more hours and continues to support all of the LGBTQIA+ and ally communities in Snohomish county.

Cute, clean, friendly cafe with great coffee and a solid pastry selection. My flat white was delicious, the staff were friendly and warm, and my donut was stolen by my daughter.

Wonderful, cozy and inclusive local spot for amazing breakfast sandwiches and coffee. My fiancé and I took our first trip over to this cafe and were surprised with a live reading of some of my childhood favorite books. Their menu was familiar and comforting with a few twists. We got the Apple Cheese Bacon and Peanut butter (ACAB for short ) and the Breakfast bagel and coffee. All were freshly made and very tasty. Would highly recommend this spot if you're a local in the area or just someone who appreciates good food and atmosphere.

They were not open the hours that were listed on yelp so I drove there for nothing. Check the hours before you go!

Drove out to this place and at 8:30 this morning they're not open. I'm totally bomb that I wasted my time.

As long as they keep off the furniture and don't go after people or other dogs, yes. We keep puppy cookies for them behind the counter. 😊

I've been wanting to try their chocolate chip cookie but it's never ready when I've gone. Their burrito is delicious though, it's packed and super filling, not to mention the sauces are the best part! I wish they gave a little more as I end up finishing the sauces before the burrito is done because they're sooo tasty with the burrito. I also wish they had other meat options other than bacon. They don't have chicken add ins but other than that it's a great place! I've also had their biscuit and jam, but that's just ok. I wouldn't get it again. It's not that tasty or memorable. There's lots of seating, food is ready fairly quickly, service is great and employees are friendly, and parking right outside. So convenient!

However, and I'd like to share my feedback on my experiences. - The food is decent, though it's often prepared for presentation rather than taste. It frequently arrives cold. - The coffee and tea are overpriced and tastes mediocre. - for instance, I paid $8 for a 4-ounce mix of espresso and orange juice that made my stomach hurt. - I also paid nearly $7 for the "peach blossom tea" and ended up getting 3/4 cup of ice, packet tea, and sweetener in a cup. - I've tried nearly everything on the drink menu and nothing is 'great' - The wait time for an order is incredibly long, and the employees are often distracted and preoccupied with other tasks, making it difficult to get my order taken. Overall, go to narrative for the ambiance and food, NOT the drinks.

My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

It has the nice exterior crust but the interior was not eggy. It felt like it was a sliced baguette dipped in corn flakes and fried. It needed to soak for a while in an egg custardy bath for that soft creamy texture. 4) kids cheese burger. The kids enjoyed it and I can't complain! It comes with a drink as well.
