Everything you could want from a Pacific Northwest coffee shop. This spot sits near the Mukilteo Lighthouse and tends to be a frequently visited spot by those taking the nearby ferry. They serve all your go-to caffeinated beverages, as well as a number of speciality drinks to keep your visits exciting. During my most recent trip I ordered the chai latte and their mushroom quiche. Fun fact about me: I devour quiche.. and this happens to be one of the best I've ever tried. There's a large indoor space with seating, as well as outdoor spots under tree coverage for those rare sunny days. I could sit on their patio and watch their ferries for hours. Especially if it meant endless lattes.

The food here is pretty good, but they won me over with the location and service. It's just up the road from the Mukilteo Lighthouse and on a nice day, it's hard to beat having breakfast and coffee here. This is evident by the crowd. But even while busy, the service is great. You're never rushed, they are helpful and serve you up with a great attitude and smile which only add more to the elite vibes.

I've been here a couple of times and so far I love it! I always order the Caesar wrap and somehow I always forget that it's huge lol. Next time I will remember to share with a friend. They use fresh vegetables and it's a 8/10, I just wish they would use a little bit more of dressing but I'm sure they can accommodate and give extra on the side and that's a personal preference (im not sure if it would be extra so don't quote me) anyways. The ambiance is very cozy and you're minutes always from the beach. The views from here is incredible. I have yet to try their coffee so I cannot say much on the drinks. The service was top tier. Everyone was very nice from the phone order to picking the food up.

We came on a Monday holiday in Jan around 2pm. It was full indoors, with a couple people sitting outside. The staff was amiable- greeted us when we came in, took our order and were pretty efficient/quick to deliver the coffees we ordered. They provide 5G WiFi. There is a lovely view from the premises, but unfortunately there was a large red canopy outside which obscured the view from those inside. On a nice sunny day like today, it would be nice if the canopy was folded! The interior vibe is pretty rustic. It kinda reminds me of grandma - to some it feels cozy and homey. To others, maybe a bit traditional and dated. There are ample food options for breakfast and lunch, although we didn't try this time. All in all, this might be a laid back spot to visit during the summer when it's warm enough to sit outside.

great view overlooking pier. very cute and cozy establishment with solid sandwich options (albeit nothing particularly special) and great soup pairings. the chip bag on the side is a nice touch, and the coffee is great as well. lovely staff!

Where do I start! It was a lovely summer day: flowers everywhere, winding garden trails, the smell of the August in the air, early morning breeze, perfect for brunch on a shaded patio. That's exactly what this place has. Guy at the counter was friendly and helped me order since there were plenty of options and it was my 1st time in. Breakfast/brunch options were classics. I did the bagel sandwich and hubby did the croissant sandwich. He did iced coffee and I did the iced peach tea. Classic and yummy! To top off this delightful morning, the servers also gave our dogs a fresh bowl of water! Too kind! We will be back and I have already told 2 coworkers about this place.

Might be my favorite coffee shop that I've ever been to. The location is practically right on the coast. The breeze is amazing and serene. It's hard not to feel at peace when you're here. Would highly recommend grabbing a drink here and walking around the shore.

This little cafe is so cute cozy inside and outside! It is in a great location by the water and ferry. I walked around here with my dog and stopped by to get a light lunch. I sat outside under the sun with my dog, and there was another dog nearby as well! I see people here often just simply getting coffee or doing their work. I had a wholesome soup and sandwich with some chips. Everything tasted really authentic and gave homemade vibes. The staff was so kind and friendly, which completed our experience! I'd love to return again and looking forward to more visits especially during the summertime!

Iced caramel macchiato, iced hazelnut latte, ham and cheese croissant

Cute breakfast place near Mukilteo beach. The ladies there were super friendly and had great service. We came about 8:15am and they ran out of bagels so those must be very popular. We got an iced caramel macchiato, iced hazelnut latte, and a ham and cheese croissant. The lattes were good, but the croissant was just okay; I think if I had a good sauce to pair with it, it would be tastier. Drinks were about $9 each and the sandwich was about $11. The outdoor seating is so pretty with the flowers and such a treat on a nice day. Parking is limited on the side of the building, but if you drive past through to the street, there's also street parking available. Cute place, would recommend.

Talk about great views!!! HIGHLY recommend getting a refreshing drink and sitting outside to take in views of the water. The staff members are so kind, and offer great recommendations. I love the tart lemonade, quirky decor and extensive sandwich menu! Such a Mukilteo gem!

This place was packed on a Saturday morning! We found seats right away and watched the line go out the door. Once the line got short we got up to grab food. Tip: show up and chat for a while, find a table, and once the line is short hop in for a snack! Love the decor and ambiance, and the nearby shops are fun to visit to. Ice cream shop around the corner. Highly recommend! The workers are very friendly and smiley, too. Glad to visit for the first time and will definitely be back. Also, view of the water swoon.

Cool spot, gives off a quaint Vermont-type vibe. Coffee and pastries are good quality. Should consider extending their operating hours.

Came back to this establishment after a year had past for another birthday. I love seafood, but…read morefor some reason this menu did not really excite me that much. Food was definitely better this time around. I opted with the seafood salad, which was what it sounded like. The one thing that stood out to me were the smoked scallops, which I could have just ate a whole plate of. There was a fair amount of seafood amongst the plate. Tip: Mondays are half price bottled wine, which was probably the best deal of the night. Now for my salad and bowl of soup I think was around $50+. I'm not afraid to spending money, but I can say you must be paying for the view, and I get it. But the overall price we paid. Idk. The service was a glaring issue, in which I think there were a total of maybe 10 tables that were taken in the whole restaurant. The server was nice enough, but not attentive at all. Now I'm not going to lie the birthday boy set up his dinner for 7pm on a Monday. We did not know that Ivars closed at 8....and no one even told us at any point. I get this was to be polite, but had we known we probably would have been out of there a lot earlier. We did end up leaving at 10 to 9, but probably could have been gone a lot earlier had anyone mentioned that they closed at 8 or we didn't have to wait for our bill for 20+ minutes. I did feel bad after knowing we stayed so late, but like I said there was a definite lack of communication. Also one last thing. Charging for the bread, I don't know if that's new, but seems rather silly to me. I feel like I'm being generous with the 4 star review, in actuality closer to 3.5, I just feel bad making them stay until after close.

Very friendly and definitely a boilerplate for other restaurants. The biggest problem is the food. The menu consists of the same signature dishes they've preparing for years. Not very tasty and mostly bland. Lots of potential, but definitely needs an update.

There wasn't much of a variety which was a bummer but I went with the basic cheese to try out. They heated the pizza and it came out hot. Overall, the pizza was good. If I came back, I would order a whole pizza ($22-$28) instead of the slices as it is cheaper. If you come for the slices, on average $4.-$4.75.

Since then, a Georgian couple, I think they are Georgian, has taken over. I was in the mood for a Philly cheesesteak in addition to trying something different. After my perusing of the menu I knew what was going to be my pick for the evening. I live in Everett and this place is just right down the freeway, which is a short jaunt considering it is the Boeing freeway and it's not a bad drive at all. After pulling up, i headed inside and it wasn't crowed at all. I did a quick look over on the menu and glanced at the available slices and was greeted warmly by the husband. I knew what I wanted but it was going to be a split order. I let him know that I was going to eat in first and then order to go afterwards and he was welcomed to it. I first ordered a slice, the meat lovers or pepperoni and sausage. And Caesar salad. The salad was a regular portion but they have a larger as well. The slice was decent. The majority of pizza parlors throw slices back in the oven for a quick reheat and this was no different. Great crisp, not too greasy and the bite was good. My favorite local spot is Brooklyn brothers but this was not too far behind. The salad was good. Classic romaine, chopped to bite-sized pieces, excellent mouth size and the dressing was on point. Croutons, which were plentiful, and I enjoy that, rounded out with a good amount of shredded Parmesan. It wasn't the best but when you have a good caesar salad it's damn near good enough. After my first palate cleanse, i went to place my to go order. A Philly cheesesteak and their kachapuri. The cheesesteak was simple, just meat and cheese, which is my personal standard. The kachapuri was their pizza dough, a mix of cheeses and Georgian cheeses and an egg yolk, that was added father it was cooked. It was accompanied by a slab of butter. The cheesesteak was delicious. It was meaty and cheesy lol. The dough was soft and absorbed all the drippings of the meat and cheese and each bite was perfect. There an always better cheesesteaks and some are standards but this one set a great mark compared to my poach offerings, even the ones that cheesesteak in their namesake. I was happy. After I wolfed down the first half, I saved the rest for the next day and dove into the Kachapuri. This was my first time having this dish and it was a great choice. Be warned that this is a heavy dish and very rich. I had to spread it out over the next few days but each reheat was great and never did it decrease in flavor or quality. The flavor is extremely piquant. Savory, creamy and the addition of the yolk and butter just brings it to another level. Again, it is heavy and should be paired with something lite, salad, vegetables, a tame meat or subtle fish but if eaten on its own, good enough. Check them out and if you're curious, go for the cheesesteak and if you're in the mood add the kachapuri. You wont regret it.
