We just moved to the area and are so glad we tried this place today! The chilaquiles were bomb and really well presented. And the make-your-own-omelette was also delish! They served a cute plate of cut fruit when we sat down which was a nice touch! Neighbors, go to this place. It's really homey and delicious.

This spot is a little gem tucked away in the Oakmore neighborhood. The staff is very friendly, great service, and good food! Easy place to take kids too, lots of space, and clean. Will definitely be coming here regularly.

It's not cafe but a pizza place. This location didn't open until 5pm to serve pizza. Incorrect listing not Red Boy Cafe but Red Boy Pizza

When they saw us trying to get in with our giant strollers, they ran over to open the door and move chairs out of the way, they all came over to say hi to the babies, another guest gave us tiny delicious cheesecakes she's made (presumably for some group hangout happening there at the same time), and the owners were absolutely lovely. We don't know a ton about tea, and he picked a lovely one for us. Totally a place to sit, relax, and try one of what looks like hundreds of tea options. I ordered an egg bite, while my wife ordered an macchiato along with a cheddar scallion scone. The egg bite was warmed up when I received it and was light and fluffy; definitely a bite I'd order again. However, the cheddar scallion scone was a skip for me. The scone crumbled apart the moment I bit into it, and it's definitely on the dry side. You would do yourself a huge favor by not eating this in your car. From my extremely limited experience, the items from the pastry case seem to be hit-or-miss. That said, I'm honestly very impressed that Yellow Door has been able to keep prices of pastries below $5. If you're stopping by on a Sunday, I would definitely do a loop around the farmers market nearby to see if there are other pastries that catch your eye. Pair that with a coffee from Yellow Door and you've got a winning combo.

Their primary focus appears to be on their special order cakes-which look amazing. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. After asking a few questions, I decided on the Passion Coco cake($5) and the Brown Sugar Pecan scone ($3.50). I enjoyed the Passion Coco cake slice. The coconut, passion fruit, and strawberry flavors worked well together, although the passion fruit flavor was very subtle. The sponge was cake moist, and the butter cream was spot on with its melt-in-your-mouth creamy texture. The Brown Sugar Pecan scone was good, but it had more of a dense muffin texture than a traditional scone, and the flavors were a bit muted. They did not skimp on the pecans though, which was nice. I would have enjoyed bolder flavors and a more traditional scone texture. Overall, I found that the walk in options are limited, but a great spot for locals to stop in and pick up tasty baked goods-and I would definitely order one of their beautiful and delicious looking cakes for a special occasion.
