10. Chicken with String Bean Lunch
Amy Y.

Our family ate here over the weekend, on a Saturday afternoon. They have lunch specials on Saturday which is a nice surprise given many restaurants usually only do it for weekdays. The lunch special ends at 3 pm. I got the chicken with string beans. It has a kick to it, and the chicken was not what I would normally expect when you order it at a chinese take out spot, but it was good nonetheless. Bring a jacket. It's chilly in here, especially if you have little ones.

Insanely over-priced. House Salad is $6.50.....it consists of a handful iceberg lettuce, 2 slivers of red cabbage, a 1/2" pice if tomato and 2 small cucumber slices.

Spicy which is good but the ingredients aren't what I expected ... it just was lacking flavor

The service was prompt and food hot an ready but the hot an sour soup just was spicy not much flavor and not much Ingredients

The spread... Sushi and hot food

Everyone needs to read this review and then go straight to Red Bowl. I ordered off Postmates three times now and all I can say is.. wow. The food has a really authentic taste and I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've ordered thus far. Sushi - all of the sushi I've had was SUPER fresh. You can tell this is good sushi grade vs the cold bland sushi you sometimes get from restaurants UNAGI Don - wow, the eel over rice was soo good. Huge pieces and also fresh Beef Chow Fun - has the smoky wok(hay) flavor that only authentic joints can really fill out this type of dish. Steak hibachi - the steak was cooked perfectly and what makes this more impressive is it was a delivery order! Crab Rangoon - delicious Mango sticky rice - my wife loves it. Ordered it twice back to back Hot n sour soup - it's been hard to find a legit one in the area without tasting too thin or mild. This is the new go to place for this! I could go on but check it out for yourself. Everything is packed with flavor and the price is not bad even for dinner. GO NOW TO RED BOWL.

cute little spot! relaxing space &nice smoooth music. I got a kani salad added some mango and it was very good. I had the Love roll, it was also really good! the soy bean paper had a little crunch to it, I enjoyed it. I took some stuff to go.. the udon noodles with chicken, spicy wontons, sticky rice with mango and fried dumplings all very good! the waitress was extremely friendly and tentative! will definitely be back !

Got the hibachi chicken with noodles recently. Very good and will be my new favorite. Sesame chicken is always good. Recently tried the crispy beef and it was great.

Discovered Red Bowl on Uber Eats and decided to get some takeout for dinner tonight. All in all everything was pretty good and we would order from here again. What we ordered: 1. Unagi Don - the unagi was tasty and portion size was good. 2. Chirashi - fish was fresh and there was a good variety. My only suggestion would be to replace the imitation crab with either the sweet egg or another type of fish. 3. Wontons w/ Hot Sesame Sauce - tasty and flavorful. It brought the heat! 4. Crispy Spicy Chicken - chicken was tender and the spicy sauce was delicious. 5. Drunken noodles - good flavor and heat. Noodles were not soggy and had good texture.

Supposedly gluten free 5. Drunken Noodles

For a while, Red Bowl was pretty insistent upon using their website to place any orders rather than calling. If I ordered for myself, I would simply make a note requesting that they use gluten-free noodles for my dishes. This was completely ignored and regular noodles were used in my dish instead. I did not realize this was an issue until the next time I ordered and they gave long, stringy noodles in the container. When my boyfriend asked them why they were different, they insisted that they were actually the gluten-free noodles that are always used. It's nice knowing they do not take any food sensitivities into consideration. I would definitely not recommend Red Bowl if you have any special requests or sensitivities.

Crispy spicy beef. So crispy. Perfect spice level . Am way in entree

We just had their Moo Shu Pork and Shrimp with lobster sauce delivered. It arrived hot and on time and both dishes were fabulous!

20…read more Thai Cookery -- Hidden Gem Worth the Stop Stopped into Thai Cookery in Hawthorne while we were in the area craving Thai food--and I'm glad we did. It's one of those spots you could easily drive right past if you weren't looking for it. Almost looks like a house from the outside, but inside it's a cozy, welcoming vibe. We went during lunch and took advantage of their $12.95 specials--great value. I had the basil fried rice with pork, which had a nice level of spice--flavorful and delicious without being overpowering. It came with a spring roll and a lemon tea, which was perfect--not overly sweet. My wife ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp--loaded with peppers and onions, super flavorful, and cooked just right. She paired it with a Thai iced tea, which was also on point. Food came out quickly, served hot, and the presentation was clean. Nice little touch with the cucumbers served alongside the fried rice. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to--next time for dinner. They reopen at 4:30, and I've got my eye on those Bangkok wings. Owner was mad cool too.

OMG. Delicious food! We had the chive dumplings (succulent and crispy) and the crispy vegetables…read more(HUGE portion of veggie tempura-the kale was incredible). My daughter had the beef short rib ramen, and I had the Khao Soi Ramen with short rib. They give so much tender short rib. I didn't even care about the meat because the broth was one of the most delicious curries I've ever had. They checked on spice levels to make sure I'd enjoy (I have an insane love for heat) and gave us their homemade chilli oil and powder on the side. We also had a Thai iced tea, which was perfect because it was balanced rather than sickeningly sweet. Service was friendly and quick. We ate in the store, which has a few tables. They were doing a bustling takeout, but it wasn't noisy and it is nicely decorated and clean. Will be ordering again and again and again. I already ate some of my leftovers. Highly recommend.
