4 stars, which is a good rating. Look, I'm not usually impressed by sandwiches. I can make a sandwich at home, so I'm not going to buy one at a restaurant. You know what I can't do? Make bread. Or any baked goodie more complicated than brownies from a box. So a sandwich from a bakery cafe that makes its own bread? Yeah, I'll try that. The owner is a pastry chef, so that explains a lot. The sandwich wasn't cheap, but it was pretty good. My total bill was over $20, but I also ordered a piece of Oreo cheesecake. I spent over 30 minutes getting my To-go order, but that was mostly because I was having a nice discussion with the chef. Overall, a good experience. The inside is cute but small, and same for the parking lot, so keep that in mind if you're going here with a group at prime time.

Staff was nice, very nice actually. Only reason for 2 stars. Food wise, go in there and get yourself a coffee or tea and take off!

Crab cakes were good. Service was very slow. Chocolate eclair was okay. Waitress was nice but the only one working the tables.

Excellent King Cake! I like how there's many king cake options! They have gluten free, keto, sugar free. You name it they have it!

We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning.

Their enclosed dessert bar will have your mouth salivating for a bite of each piece. I did pretty good though, I ordered a venti caramel frozen coffee with soy milk and OMG, it was absolutely delish! Then, as I was checking out, I was contemplating purchasing the creme brûlée layered pie. Needless to say, that contemplation lasted all of 3 seconds and I caved and bought it. Let me tell you, next to marrying my husband, this was the best decision I've made lol. Next time, I'm going to buy some macaroons, they looked absolutely divine!

We opted for a smoothie type drink with boba. The guy put boba in 2 of the 3 drinks and told us he ran out for the third drink. Why not measure it out before hand and let us know so we can decide which drinks get the boba? My husband got one of the Special T drinks and it was not drinkable at all. Tasted so artificial and super sweet. It's supposed to be a mango, pineapple and banana combo but not a single real piece of fruit was used. It was just syrup, what looked like jelly, and powders with milk and ice. So gross. Look at the pictures, all of the syrup settled at the bottle. It's half the drink. Never again. What a waste of money.

This French bakery offers authentic pastries, hand-made croissants, brunch fare, & espresso drinks. The high-ceilings, white tile, and marble tabletops emit a European café vibe. There is also a charming courtyard if you want to soak in some sunshine. I first learned about this bakery when staying at the Hotel Villa Convento across the street. They served their buttery rich croissants as part of their continental breakfast. (I'm not sure if they still do.) Now that I have a house in the Quarter, I take a morning stroll over here to pick up croissants to take home. The butter croissants are a bargain at $3.50. I also love the chocolate & almond (both are $3.95 each), as well as the crisp & flaky Palmiers & delicate Almond Florentines. When I have guests, I bring them back a Ham & Cheese Croissant - a bargain at $5.50. They always ask me to bring another the next day.

From the moment you walk through the gate, it feels like you've been transported into this hidden, magical garden. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, but the garden is definitely the star of the show. I also didn't realize before going that N7 is a French restaurant and wine bar, with a pretty extensive selection of wines. I was doing Sober June, so no wine for me, but I had a mocktail that was absolutely delicious. I ordered the fish of the day and gave it a solid 9/10. I honestly don't remember what kind of fish it was , but the flavor was definitely there! My only complaint was the portion, I could've used a little more on that plate. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their food, though. Also, keep in mind that the menu changes frequently, including larger seasonal changes, so I would definitely check the menu before you go if you have your heart set on something specific. And a huge shoutout to Ladarian! He really made sure we had a great experience. He was knowledgeable about the food, drinks, and pretty much every random question we threw his way. Overall, such a delightful birthday dinner and one of those restaurants you go to for the entire experience, not just the food. My ratings: Food: 9/10 Drinks: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 20/10
