Tasty food, great drinks, great customer service, and a cool beautiful interior. What's not to love about this place? I stopped here on my way out of New Orleans after a bachelor party and the refreshments were much needed. The croissants are immaculate, sometimes I pull up the pics I took of them and reminisce. They were that good! Perfect spot for a quick cafe breakfast or to grab some pastries on the go. You'll be glad you visited.

The people running this place are so kind and talented! Everything is made from scratch in house. The pastry's are great! We also had a chicken pot pie that was fantastic! I highly recommend this spot for a quick delicious bite and coffee. This would also be a nice place to post up with a laptop if you need a place to work.

This white cheddar biscuit with egg and smoked cheddar might actually be the best breakfast biscuit I've ever had. The bread was amazing, and the lovely ladies working today were the sweetest

Iced chai and a croissant to go!

This was my first time stopping in at their uptown location. A few weeks ago, someone smashed their window! Not cool! So I wanted to pay them a visit :) COVID procedures were less seating, must wear a mask, baristas wear masks, and contactless payment. I wish I could remember the name of the barista who served me. She was so sweet. She knew exactly what kinds of breads they had fresh that day and exactly where they were to show me. Even though I didn't get a loaf this day, I got an awesome gorgeous croissant. Ohhh it was delicious. I also got an iced chai. Also delicious I will definitely be back next time I find myself uptown in the early morning!

    boudin king cake

The smells of this place when you walk should be captured in a candle or something! I enjoyed the nice warm welcome I had when I entered the cafe. It was my first time here. I had ordered a boudin king cake prior for pick up; orders must be placed in advance. I had paid prior too, so it was super easy. I walked in, was greeted, got my cake and left. The space is pretty big and could be good for groups. It looks like counter service as well, so separate checks would be easy too. There is parking off street outside and you are next door to Creole Creamery which is pretty amazing. I tried the boudin king cake when I was home. I didn't know whether it was cooked or not, I assume it was, but wish I had some instructions or had the nice lady behind the counter let know some cooking instructions. But regardless, I heated the oven up to 400 and heated it up for about 10 or minutes. I tasted it and that bread was so freaking flaky and good. It basically melted in my mouth. I loved the bacon pieces sprinkled all over. There is a tiny container of syrup that is included if you wanna pour that on your king cake. I did taste a little before pouring it on and it had a spicy sweet flavor to it. So, I poured a little on a slice and I didn't exactly love it, so I just ate the cake as is. The crackling on top, that they call it, is not cracking. That is pork rines. True crackling is fried, cubed bacon fat which is the most calorific, heart attack pushing, delicious thing you will put in your mouth. I ate one of the pork rines and didn't care for it. Overall, I did really enjoy that boudin. I don't know where the boudin came from or if they make it in house, but it was damn good and i am a boudin snob from living in Cajun Country for a while. I will be back, it's a super nice bakery.

There is nothing left of my sandwich. At one point I did hold it over my head and say "my god, yes"

Firstly, food was delicious AS ALWAYS. But today the lovely lady behind the counter (working a solo shift) made me an egg sandwich that was... simply... divine. I'm a simple person, I just want bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. Even though she was working the counter, it was slow enough in the middle of the day that she was willing to make me eggs (even though I know when they're working alone sometimes they can't) and these eggs were SILKY, let me tell you SILKY!!!!!! I have never had such good eggs IN MY LIFE. I don't know her name, she worked on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 3pm and it was AWESOME. I'm having an awful time in life and this helped so much.

The staff kept things moving and were attentive throughout our meal. Taste: The menu is concise, which I liked, and there's truly something for everyone. I ordered the BBQ shrimp and grits, and it was hands down the best I've ever had. It was savory, flavorful, and very filling. My friend had the grits and egg bowl, which was also really good. The fresh juices were delicious and paired perfectly with brunch. Ambiance: The café has a lively brunch vibe and feels like a staple spot. It's casual, welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends while enjoying a great meal. Overall Review: Two Chicks Café is affordable and absolutely worth the visit. Between the flavorful dishes and great brunch energy, it's a must-stop on your NOLA trip. I would definitely go back!!!

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!
