    Potato Taco Plate
    Cynthia W.

This place was located inside the Temecula mall food court. It was fairly busy, but the line moved quickly. We ordered a potato taco meal with rice and beans and 2 potato tacos a la carte. The food court is usually loud because there's lots of different food vendors in a small area inside the mall, but that's expected. The tacos were just okay even though they were seasoned potatoes. The beans tasted like can Rosarita beans. The rice was bland. I REALLY wanted to love these potato tacos, but unfortunately they were meh.

I didn't expect much from here since it's in the mall. But these fries are bussin! So yummy and the watermelon lemonade is delish! Service was great very kind cashier and guy serving the food. Cute design as well. I can't wait to come back and try more!

In town visiting family and me and the kids got hangry while perusing the mall. I saw the booth in the food court and knew I had to try it. I've been eating TEX MEX all these years... I realize these probably aren't the Cali tacos I've been craving... but hey Tacos... The staff was friendly and customer service top notch. I ordered the quesa birria taco plate and watermelon lemonade. Sooooooo good. The cosume and tacos definitely on point and watermelon lemonade refreshing and not too sweet. Great experience!

Tacos were larger than I expected, filled to the top. Service was good, food was good. First time trying this place in the Temecula mall food court. Will be back to try more!

I came up to peruse the Promenade in Temecula and decided to eat at Rebel Tacos. What a T~Mex treat found right in the Malls' food court! The Carne Assada Fries were fully loaded and delicious. The Quesa~Birria Tacos are fantastic. They definitely didn't skimp on the meat. Birria tacos are my newest vice when it comes to Tacos and I try and get them at any taco place that makes them. Everything was in generous proportions! The prices are reasonable and I left feeling very full. You have a few sauces options to try as well. The green sauce and guac one was my favorite. The staffers at the counter were very friendly and they'll give you a number to for you to remember and then will call you when your order is ready. Everything looked clean and tidy...even the communal dining area and surrounding tables. And it was pretty busy right after all the nearby kids got out of school. So the cleanliness was pretty impressive. Whenever I battle traffic times to come up this way it is usually to get something to eat and then take a walk at the lake. I'd love to come back again ~~ sometime sooner than later. Great taco shop.

Asada rebel bowl with hot and mild salsa

I was invited to an elite event, but missed it by one day. I still decided to give the restaurant a try located in the promenade mall within the food court, which is on the east side of the mall. I ordered a rebel bowl with Asada. Service was prompt And the wait was short. Raymond was helpful describing their menu and in his opinion, what meats were the best to give a try for the first time. His recommendation was Asada. I also tried both their green, mild and red hot sauce. For the $13 price including tax, it's a decent meal definitely on the healthy side. The sauces were decent and overall I would recommend this place, one of many to choose from at the mall food court.

    "Potato" taco

I tried the potato tacos and it was mostly cabbage. There was a thin spread of potato and a mound of cabbage, should be called a cabbage taco. Flavor was fine, but needs more potato to be a potato taco.

They should ensure ingredients listed are accurate. What if someone has an allergy?

I ordered carne asada fries, the description did not say beans were on them. However, rebel tacos loaded our fries with beans and hardly any meat. Very disappointing, will not eat here again

What's left of 2 Shredded Beef Tacos with no lettuce lol

My sister and I stopped here to grab some tacos when we were done shopping! Prices are a little high but figure that it being in the mall food court. We got 3 carne asada tacos (soft shell), 2 shredded beef tacos (hard shell and no lettuce), and 1 potato taco with 2 drinks. Was about $28. But holy crap, the tacos were all so freaking good! The staff was friendly too. I will definitely come here again and hope they are around for a long time!

    Carnitas Burrito
    Tania T.

Located in the food court inside the mall. We tried the carnitas quesadilla and carnitas burrito. The portion is very generous. The quesadilla came with 4 huge cuts of triangle goodness. The tortilla were grilled perfectly with that crunch on the outside and the melted cheese and carnitas inside. The carnitas burrito is so good! The ratio of rice to meat is perfect! I would have asked if it could be cut in half, just to make it easier to eat. But both are delicious. We also tried the watermelon lemonade, so refreshing! Beware. You will get food coma, but so worth it. We walked it off around the mall.

I enjoy the keto bowl with carne asada. A bit pricey ($15 including tax) but that's to be expected these days.

I asked what breakfast burrito is the best or her favorite and took her up on the recommendation of the Machaca Breakfast Burrito. Choosing to dine in I was offered chips and salsa and asked for salsa preference. No salsa bar here which was fine, I chose spicy and got a roasted red salsa and creamy green salsa. Red had more kick but the green had such a nice bright flavor. I'm sure there are more options but it was nice to trust the service to pick. Now for the burrito, the star of the show, Machaca is only 50 cents more than the bacon, coming in at around $14 which is about average around here. The size was great and a nice weight. Cutting it open there was a great mix of all the ingredients. Potatoes were a small dice and seasoned with the same spice they sprinkle on their chips I think. Fajita style onions and peppers with a generous amount of juicy Machaca, laced with perfectly melted cheese. I think there may have been some refried beans in there too since I asked for everything they recommend. If there was they were so nicely blended they didn't dominate a single bite and may have performed more as a binder. 5 stars for Location and staff were both great as it's not hard to get to off Ynez by the dealerships. It's the kind of place locals know of and tell people they got their perfect spot. Blown away by how friendly the staff is, in the morning, while taking deliveries. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is a solid 4.9/5, would definitely order again after I try some of the others because this place is definitely going on the short list of go-to spots. They have quesaberria tacos that look awesome.

The location is a mom and pop operation with enough tables and seating to accommodate maybe a few groups of people. We arrived here on a weekday afternoon as we were craving some breakfast burritos. This restaurant is steady with customers coming in for their lunch breaks. The cashiers and staff were very welcoming to us as we needed dining in. We ended up ordering a Machaca burrito and a fish burrito. They offered house made chips and salsa as complimentary items. These burritos were served so hot and fresh the steam was seeping through. The machaca was delicious and I loved the spice from the fresh cut jalapenos. My wife and I ended up eating 1/2 of our burritos and took the rest to go. Familia Restaurant is definitely feels worth their pricing. The hospitality from staff was top tier. I'd recommend coming by if you are in this area. Please come by and support this family business. We left happy! ( ^_^)b

The only downside was that there were a few food flies lingering around our table, which was a little off-putting. We also didn't receive the usual complimentary chips and cheese you sometimes get at Hispanic restaurants, but I know every place does things differently.
