Arrive early so you can upgrade to a freshly made croissant since they have those in limited batches. As for the drinks themselves, I was happy with my unsweetened matcha which should always be a standard and my partner said the coffee was very delicious. I also had an enjoyable experience just sitting down the shop with the amount of thoughtful tchotchke's they had plus you could also purchase a hand-made ceramic mug. I love it when I am not looking at a boring white wall when I spend my time relaxing in the morning with a caffeinated drink. Would recommend, don't let the line you may see fool you, they make the drinks rather quickly!

If I would have known the vibe of this joint sooner, I would have been in a long time ago. I was in the area so I stopped in for a coffee break. Heard nothing but great things so of course I had to check it out. Walking in, the vibe is very 90's to me. You got the big comfy couches, the decor and music. The music brought me back to high school. It's like I warped back in time to my high school days, with my big backpack and all my homework. I remember listening to this same music with my big mug of coffee. It brought back such fond memories. I got myself an iced americano with sugar free English toffee with room for cream. I appreciate that the sweet barista left enough room for my cream and not fill it to the brim. They have a table fully loaded with condiments for your drinks and food. I added my half and half with a blue packet and made my way to a table. I normally don't kick it for a long time at coffee shops but today, I hung out for over an hour. I love the vibe so much! I chilled for a bit inside and drank the rest of my coffee outside. They have a couple tables facing East so the sun wasn't beating on me. Even though it's a busy area, it was still pretty relaxing. If I could give this joint more than 5 stars I would. All the other 5 star joints I have ranked were great but I will have I say, they don't complete the vibe like how this place does. I really do look forward to coming back and having a another drink here. Great drink, sweet vibe and perfect weather = happy day.

I decided to try the employee pick of the day--a pumpkin spice latte--and it was delicious without being overly sweet. I usually ask for my drinks half-sweet because I'm already sweet enough and don't need too much extra sweetness! Hahaha I didn't finish my latte, so I put the other half in the fridge and added it to my morning coffee the next day. Yes, I liked it so much that I wanted to save it! The service was awesome and quick, and the entire place was clean and inviting. Their cozy seating area feels like a living room where you can get comfy, read a book, or get some work done. They also have lots of tasty-looking food options on the menu. I'll definitely be back to try more!

I told her I specifically requested water with ice. That's all I drink, I don't drink plastic bottled water, yep, she replied, we won't be doing that for you in the future. Came for the street Tacos- YUM! Kids wanted a different drink- so Village Coffee was a good option. But this will be my last purchase. If I want ICE WATER, and willing to pay, gimme a break. AND DO NOT CALL ME HON! Seriously, rude! It's very warm inside, and they do not make it welcoming that's for sure.

The iced mocha on my first visit was okay...not enough mocha flavor, and the coffee tasted a little bitter. Not the best impression. My second visit was much better, that Mexican mocha was perfectly balanced in flavor. However, the sausage breakfast burrito was a tad underwhelming in flavor. The perfectly cooked burrito was packed with onions, green peppers, cheese, eggs and sausage. Though the mild salsa and sour cream were a nice compliment, the burrito was actually pretty bland.
