They forgot my kids order so the pizza sat there getting cold while it was being made. No attempt was made to keep it warm - just sitting on the shelf for 15 minutes. I don't know if it's just this location but nobody seems to give a sh*t. We had a "supreme" Caesar salad and I have to say that if putting whole leaves of wilted romaine, a few croutons and Parmesan together in a bowl is what you consider supreme, then you aced the supreme disappointment of it all. The only consistent thing was that the wilted room temp salad matched the wilted room temp pizza. First and last time we will ever eat at mellow mushroom. Pizza is just okay - I've had better and worse but generally not worse at almost $30 for a medium. Nothing about this is worth a second try. Not even meh. Just ugh.

If you're anywhere near Florence and craving incredible wood-fired pizza, Rebel Pie is the place to be! My wife and I stopped in for date night, and from start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Atmosphere & Service: Rebel Pie has that cozy, laid-back vibe you want from a local pizza spot, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Service was quick, attentive, and they made sure everything came out fresh and hot. Food Quality: The star of the night was absolutely the pizza. Perfectly charred crust, the right balance of crispy and chewy, and toppings that taste fresh and flavorful. We went with a loaded combination, and every bite hit the spot -- you can really taste the difference when it's cooked in a wood-fired oven. Overall Experience: It was one of those nights where everything just clicked -- great food, good laughs, and that casual vibe that makes a date night feel special. Rebel Pie has definitely earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Florence. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch pizza and a friendly local atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! read more

This is definitely a FIVE star pizza restaurant. I've eaten pizza all over the country and artisan Neapolitan pizza doesn't get any better this side of NYC. The crust is absolutely PERFECT!!! Thin with just the right balance of crispy & chewy. The local ingredients are fresh as can be and the pizza in perfectly balanced between sauce, cheese and toppings. I recommend the "Who's Your Daddy". But, don't forget the "Pie Holes". (Donuts size pieces of pizza dough sprinkled with Parmesan.) read more

Shug's Smokehouse Grill & Tavern

We came here on the recommendation of folks from the RV Superstore, and we were not disappointed…read more Shug's has a main parking lot that gets filled up quick on a Friday night, but we managed to find a spot. They have a nice waiting area inside that allows you to see the sushi master. We were seated at a nice booth, and the restaurant is designed in a way that makes you feel like you're at a smokehouse - there's tin roof structures over the seating area which is pretty neat. The bathrooms are located at the back of the restaurant, but you will have to wait if someone is doing a full face of makeup at the sink because there's live music that night. Our table ordered the kids corn dog, the 16oz ribeye, and the goat cheese salad. While we were waiting on our food, complimentary croissants covered in honey butter arrived to the table. They were flaky and dripping in honey butter, so I ate it with a fork to preserve my hands. The steak comes with two sides, so the side salad promptly arrived after the croissants. The steak was one of the best we've had at a restaurant, and the loaded baked potato was devoured. The corn dog turned out to be corn dog nuggets, which made it easier for my little to cut up and let the steam release. The fries were super crispy but fluffy in the middle. The candied pecan crusted goat cheese salad was exactly that. It looked like a small cheese ball of goat cheese that had been rolled in the candied pecan mixture, and then deep fried. By the time you open the cheese ball of goat cheese and mix it with the rest of the salad, there's not much texture diversity because the croutons were not crunchy. If in the area, I would definitely return but would try a different salad next time.
