I don't usually leave reviews ... but I was Disappointed in today's service .. I come here often & it's usually decent. Today, no ladle in alfredo sauce , noodles looked horrible & some were hard, picked up a bowl and water went all over the place. Pizza looked like it had been sitting out a while and tasted horrible. The brownies & cinnamon rolls were dry and hard. I will say there is one guy who I see in here often who was doing his job well. wish I knew his name. I want to try every restaurant in our town at least once. This time it was Cicis in Florence Mall. You have to know what it is coming in, a cheap pizza buffet with low quality made toppings. Positives were the staff was friendly, and I did see one employee sweeping the floor, but that couldn't take away from the eye sore of the over flowing trashcan near the drink machine. The pizzas were all the same crust with the minimal toppings. The slice of supreme I caught before gone was the best of the lot I sampled. There was a spinach which sounds good, it wasn't. The combo of gooey cheese & spinach looked like a snotty mess. I bit into and immediately regretted, disgusting The salad bar was blob; the brownie dessert tasted fine. The buffet price said $8.99 on weekends, my wife added wings (idk why) for $6.99. If you lower your expectations before arriving you may enjoy but don't be surprised if you feel sick afterwards. read more

Tasteless pizza,pasta looked terrible. Bathroom was worse than a truckstop. Even ordered a pizza fresh cooked....special for my son. Just not very good. Pizza was not crispy on the bottom. Kinda inedible. Had one slice of a meat pizza that was decent at best. Salad bar was edible but no real flavor. Even the ranch dressing tasted watery. We went to the bathroom and came back and they cleared/cleaned off our table. Threw away our drinks and everything. Could not believe it. At that point we left. No dessert even. Totally unsatisfying. This place is absolutely disgusting. Dirty tables everywhere. Staff is sitting around having a convo. Drink machine- every single drink is flat and stinks. Pizza is cold that's out. Lettuce is brown. Dirty dishes stacked at the end of the buffet by the napkins with food. It's bad. Really bad. It's been a long time since I've been somewhere that's this subpar. The two girls at the register were knowledgeable and welcoming. The salad bar was fresh. There was a decent variety of pizza and it was also fresh. There were breadsticks and desserts. A 180 from a few months ago when the salad was rotten and they barely had anything. There were less employees this time but they were quality employees. We arrived yesterday (Saturday ) around 4 pm. The food was ok. There wasn't many pizzas available when we first arrived but more were put out shortly after we arrived. So many of the staff were just standing around and we're not helpful. The chairs at our table were so gross. They were sticky and desperately needed cleaning. The worst tasting Cici's I have ever been to. The pizza had been sitting for some time and we got there at 11:30 just ahead of what should have been their lunch rush. I attempted to eat a salad, but couldn't. The croutons were soft, the French dressing had an odd color so I chose a ranch to be safe, but it tasted watery and the lettuce seemed dried out. My twin three year olds, who had begged for pizza refused to eat anything except shredded cheese from the salad bar. The kids asked for a brownie and we said we would have to go somewhere else to eat and hit a drivethru just so that we could find something edible. Oh, and the restroom, quite filthy, but not surprised based on the rest of what we saw. The staff seemed friendly, but that didn't help the food taste any better. Absolutely disgusting! As soon as I walked in the door today I was greeted with three children climbing under the reception counter and on top of all the trays with no one saying a word to them. I stepped over four pieces of large trash and pizza on the floor as I went to order. There were no tables (with the exception of one) in the entire place that didn't have dirty plates or greasy fingerprints on everything. The seats are torn, the walls have holes in the drywall, and there is an overall feeling of complete filth in the entire place. And this is at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, not at lunch rush hour. In addition, there was no one cleaning tables, no one picking up plates, no one making pizzas. There were two pizzas on the entire buffet but none of the basic pizzas that most people would want. No breadsticks, no clean plates, no clean silverware. Of the six staff, four were in the back laughing and joking. My family had the same experience about six months ago but we were hoping it was a one time thing. Unfortunately after today's experience I now know this must be common place for the Florence location. It does not matter the price of the buffet, they could give it away for free and I would not come back until there were significant management changes. There was nothing in this restaurant that a good manager could not correct. It's a shame, because it was a great place for a family to go about four years ago. I had been to a previous Cici's pizza buffet and it was very good. The place was packed on a cold night with quite a few choices of pizza, salad, multiple soda selections and dessert [brownies]. We spoke with the manager-Lloyd Morris who was very friendly and made my friend and I feel at home. i would recommend and return-it is reasonable priced [cheap] and centrally located. if you don't see the pizza you want, you can ask for it and they will make it for you-what more could you ask for? read more

My family and I came to Cici's Pizza to eat. The cashier was not friendly from the start. Upon paying, they rang us up for 5 drinks but we only wanted 3. I then told them 2 waters. The person took 2 waters off and proceeded to put my card in the machine without telling me the total. When I asked the total they acted as if it was a problem. Upon completing the transaction, we proceeded to the bar. I just happened to turn around and the 2 workers along with the manager were all staring at us as one of them was speaking. Their faces were not friendly. I proceeded to walk back and ask if there was a problem. The manager simply looked at me with a blank look and said no. The other 2 workers continued to look like they had an issue. As my family fixed their food and proceeded to a table one of them continued to watch us. I really do not appreciate the behavior not the unwelcome attitudes! We have been coming to this restaurant for years! This is NOT typical behavior of the employees here! Pizza was pretty average. A lot of options that a kid would love or a true lover of all things pizza. I tried all the kinds that were on for that day, most of them tasted ok but were dry tasting. The best was the bacon cheddar pizza and the vanilla desert pizza. The price was ok for a buffet. $34 for 4 people with drinks. For starters id like to say today was the worst ive ever seen any CICIs. First we get there and one of the little boys said the boss was gonna F ing fire him. Then we go to sit down and had no choice but to sit at a dirty table due to the fact that all the tables were dirty. We had to clean our own table all awhile the manager was sitting at a table behind us and watched me wipe it off and afforded no help...... After this we get up to get our food and there was 3 pizzas on the bar none that were fresh. By the time fresh pizza came out my husband and I had already gotten full of the old pizza. We had no time to wait because we had a hungry 5 year old. Needless to say we will not be going back. I would never recommend this CICIs to anyone. read more
