We stopped here for lunch after a doctor visit at MUSC. I had the eggplant lunch special and my wife had a hot veal cutlet sandwich. Both were very good. The lunch special came with a nice size salad and garlic bread. Prices were very reasonable. Our waitress Susie was friendly and very efficient. We stopped here on our drive from NY to FL. Yelp is always our guide. We had a wonderful meal. My husband and I both had a fabulous Chicken Parm meal. It was served with a nice salad and very tasty garlic bread. Our server was terrific. Her name was Misty. This was our 1st time but it won't be the last. We will ask for Misty every time. On the menu I ordered Nobilo sauvignon blanc wine; The waitress brought me Cupcake sauvignon blanc.... Which is a much cheaper, nowhere near as good tasting wine. To be fair, I only got a salad because wanted to eat lite. My wife had the Seafood Medley, it was noodles w pesto and assorted seafood pieces. It did not look that appetizing, my salad was ok. There were many options for traditional Italian dishes on menu. Our waitress was lacking in nearly every way that makes for good service. This really took away from our dining impression. The dining rooms are on smaller side so if you have party more than 4 may take longer to seat. This is a middle of pack option for Italian. read more

I lived in Florence for several years and this was one of my regular go to places. Now that I no longer live in Florence this is one of the places I visit when I'm in town. The lasagne is one of my favorites in the world! And don't forget to try their grinders! I'm not kidding when I say they are the best in the world! I think it's the bread and the way they layer everything together, make sure you get the toasted grinder. I prefer the Special Grinder but the others are great too. read more

The food is as authentic as you are going to get. I believe the person who runs the kitchen is actually Italian. I've eaten at Cibo's, their fast-casual concept so I had high expectations. The sauces are made in-house and there are lots of choices. I went with sausage ravioli in the Vodka sauce amd added artichokes. The sun-dried tomatoes and onions give this dish the perfect balance and flavor. The salad is ok. The ingredients were fresh. I just ordered take out. And I'll say this, and it hurts, but go to Olive Garden. It hurts cause I grew up eating at Stefanos. And have been a huge fan of their shrimp scampi. It's my go to dish. This has been the 3rd time in 2 months it has been inedible. It's pure lemon. No cream sauce, which is what makes this dish. It has cream sauce, just no flavor at all and no consistency to it, it doesn't stick to the shrimp or pasta. Just pours off like water. And the shrimp have no flavor either. As if they went to Food Lion bought a bag of large deveined, no tail, shrimp, threw it in the "cream sauce", poured a shit-ton of lemon juice in it a served it. The chicken marsala now has to be ordered with pasta, when for the past 5 years I've been eating the chicken marsala, I've ordered it without any pasta. Just chicken, mushrooms, and marsala sauce. I make my own mashed potatoes when I get home to pour it over. Which oh, was dry, omg! Almost like bacon bits flavor and texture. It was just terrible. Sad. First time the pasta was good accept they didn't rinse the vegetables after cooking them and the water turned the cream sauce to watery, the calzone my wife had was good but the pepperoni they use is spicey as nd they don't say it anywhere my daughter's spag and meatballs were good not a bad visit just a few things could have been done different. read more

Please don't let the partial abandonment of the strip mall fool you. When you get inside the restaurant it looks like an older Olive Garden. The food is way better though, very authentic Italian cuisine. I searched for Italian restaurants in the area and bookmarked this and others. When I stopped at the drugstore we asked one of the clerks who had the best and she immediately said Stefanos. Done deal. I called from the hotel to see if they delivered and could not get through. I was persistent. When I finally got through I ordered veggie pizza no tomatoes, add spinach, along with the broccoli cheese puffs and calamari. The waitress said about 25 minutes. When I got there several people were inside waiting. I asked what their experience was and they all said "you'll love it". They weren't wrong! When I lived in Florence, Stefano's was always a favorite of mine. The lunch specials are great- you get a TON of food and it's super cheap at lunch. You always get a ton of food there, portions are great but it's also high quality food. The salads are delicious and so is the bread to start your meal. I always loved the gnocchi and the pasta, and the veggie pizza (it's a stuffed pizza) is really good too. Customer service is always top-notch too. Stefano's also does a great catering business. I don't get to Florence much to eat it, but today they catered a lunch for my job (I work for a company based in Florence). The catering went well, they arrived on time and we had great food, everyone enjoyed it. Even catered, it was good quality. But I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you're in the Florence area and want a delicious Italian meal. read more

Food is usually good but not this time. Due to Covid19 you have to wait in a car line to pick up your food. Therefore if your food is ready but the twenty cars in front of you are still waiting you have to wait too. Waited for 55 minutes. Ordered and paid online so I couldn't cancel my order. Food was cold and disgusting due to it being ready 50 minutes before making it to the front of the line. I get it, you're taking precautions due to the ongoing pandemic. But can't you manage curbside pickup where customers park and food is brought as soon as its ready? If Ruby Tuesdays and Chili's can figure it out I would have thought Stefanos could too.
