Enter George from Sevan Locks & Doors. George answers his phone! We made an appt to have the door fixed the next day. Boris came out and fixed it! Reasonable fee and excellent work. Thank you George & Boris. I found Sevan locks & doors on the BBB website. They were the only company in this area to have an A+ rating with no complaints. They are also a member of BBB which was even more reassuring. I wish there was a BBB for FreeCycle customers...

Minutes later I had my new keys and paid a reasonable price for their services. I tried out the new set of keys when I got home later that day and to my complete and total surprise they worked perfectly. Who would have thought?! Oh, right... I thought that. I gave my keys to the young man behind the counter. He looked at them for a few seconds and told me "these are security keys with these codes and I'm unable to duplicate these and you will need to contact the manufacturer." Keep in mind, The keys had a few numbers and letters on them but it DID NOT say "DO NOT DUPLICATE" I went back to work and contacted the manufacturer and asked about the keys and the numbers/letters on them. They told me those are just the model number of the keys so they can special order them. ‍‍‍ So I guess the young man behind the counter didn't want to do the extra work and told me he couldn't copy them or he just didn't want to help me. Either way, I won't be returning or recommending them.

Their technician came out when I was not on sight and charged my authorized employee a 400% mark-up of the work performed. The technician went to White Knight Locksmith in Auburn, got 3 locks and 6 keys made and charged me just shy of $1000. A job that White Knight said they would have done for $250. In all fairness, they did give the price before doing the job and it was agreed upon by someone who didn't know better. My advice is to steer clear of this company because you can definitely get a better price else ware.
