I went in to ship a package and laminate a few posters. The lamination is self-service, but the prices are the same as other places where staff handle it for you. There were two employees on duty; one of them was quite unhelpful and dismissive when I asked for assistance with the lamination process, simply shrugging and returning to his work. Fortunately, the other employee stepped in to help. Overall, the customer service here was lacking--cold and unfriendly. I wouldn't choose to come back to this location.

Every year, our firm sends out holiday cards to clients. Rather than pick and choose from the…read moreplethora of expensive, generic corporate (lame) holiday cards available, my boss is privy on sending out custom designed cards bearing our brand. For the past couple years, I have been tasked with designing them in-house. Originally the plan was to print them in-house, but with a job of this magnitude and a looming deadline, I had to outsource the printing. So with a CD-R containing the .EPS files, I sought the services of George at Swifty Printing. I needed 1200 full color front and back cards, printed, trimmed and folded in half. George was accommodating in the fact that we would be supplying our own paper which was purchased at Paper Zone beforehand. Gave me a quote which was well under budget and told me to come back tomorrow for a press check. Awesome! Press check was perfect, the color was spot-on and looked amazing considering they came off a digital press. A couple of days later I came back to pick up the job: 1200 cards printed, trimmed, folded, shrink wrapped and bundled in one box. Stuffing them into envelopes on the other hand still needs to be done in house however. Thank God for interns! My dealings with George and Swifty Printing couldn't have been any better. George is a real stand-up guy and looks out for all his customers, big and small. If you need a print job, take it to George!

In the meantime, I had to take a day off from work and drive hours to a passport agency in order to apply for a passport in person. All while, my passport, social security number and other personal information is floating around and taking a joyride around the country. Terrible and unreliable service here. They quickly explained to me the difference between 3M film and the film that I was looking to get. I felt confident that after a short conversation with multiple staff, the film choice was the right one. I left them with my new luxury SUV, which already had privacy glass that they had to tint over. After the service was done, it was completed on time with extra care. I believe two to three individuals worked on the car, and it was absolutely flawless. When I got inside, it was hard to imagine it was the same car. A corneal disease impacts my ability to drive with lots of rain on the ground or at night. These folks were great about getting me the right film that took care of the car. The one additional thing that I would add is that after the install, there was a small bubble on one of the windows. It wouldn't go away after a couple of days, and I was concerned. When I returned, they assured me that within a week, with the hot temperatures and parking in the sun, it would go away, but scheduled a replacement appointment under warranty at no cost regardless. Just days before the appointment, I was happy to call them back and say that it cured perfectly. I couldn't recommend these guys more. They're absolute experts at what they do. The price is absolutely phenomenal, and they certainly have experience working on extremely high-end cars. Strongly recommend.

I happen to live close enough to Lotus Media that it's a short drive to their drop off point. Today (Sunday), I received an email stating that the video tapes have already been processed. Lotus' turnaround on this has been amazing! I provided them with a USB drive to store the digitized videos, and it is being delivered to my home tomorrow (i.e., Monday). Wow - thus far Lotus has been awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product but have been extremely impressed with their service. I will update the review after I have time to review the digitized videos.

Within 1 day Nam Nguyen had a perfect black-and-white print from a photo I emailed to him - and here's the kicker, he didn't charge me for it! Said because we're neighbors (I work on the same block as his shop) it was on the house. And the photo print in black and white is perfect. So rare to meet someone like him, someone who actually listens and is interested and does his best to make someone happy.

I don't mind paying for $5 or more. Go for the millennial's employees for help for an uncomplicated, smooth, say-less experience. And to avoid confusion and unnecessary conflict due to mistranslation (English not being owner and owner's wife language). Regardless, from what it sounded like it would be been more than $1/card with no room for savings no matter how many more I got printed.
