They've been Very helpful in working out an issue with a downloaded print that took repeated trips, and had a fairly steep price tag to go with it up front. I agreed to that, even to a $10 cut and trim charge. Unexpectedly and without warning, however, they did a 350% increase on the surcharge! I can't say enough positive about these guys. They worked with me on a project and were super-responsive, and assisted in making sure the end result matched my vision. I could not have been happier with the service I received here. It was the day before a fundraiser and my first choice for printing had two machines break down and could no longer guarantee I would have the job in time. I called around a few places and after considering price and turn around time, I chose minuteman press. Their price was less than half of the price at Kinkos. They said 'by end of day' so I expected to have to come back, but they did the job right there while I waited, about 20 minutes. Great quality, great price, exceptional service. I came in last week 5 minutes before the store closes, for a quick printing job. I want to print addresses and names on 3 big envelopes. This is incredibly complicated and complicated job which you always end up wasting paper/envelopes before you get the result you wanted. The lady at Minuteman is a total problem solver! She used paper first to ensure the print comes out the way we wanted, and then run my envelopes through. All jobs were perfectly done, and she even stay 20 minutes longer after the store is actually closed! I was a happy camper! And I will come back for more :) read more

I have had mixed experiences here. I really want to love them, but at the end of the day, they just don't deliver. The prices are great and the staff are very kind and helpful, but they seem to always be understaffed and slammed with orders. They accept files via email, but they are inconsistent and slow to respond. Most recently, I provided a week's notice for a small order to be printed and after 4 days they emailed me the proof, which I approved. They then had 3 days to print the order before closing for the weekend (I needed it for an event Saturday). I never heard back from them, so I had to find a print shop open on the weekend to have them printed last-minute. The people are great, the location is convenient (for me), but they are inconsistent and disorganized throughout the order process. If you need something quickly, be very clear. 3-4 stars for my past experiences with them. 1-2 stars for this one. read more

These guys are friendly, professional, and get the job done. I had some documents that I needed professionally printed for a presentation. Since this location is nearby where I live, I gave them a call to see if they were able to do some color prints for me. The staff asked me to email the document to them. So after emailing it, I stopped by half an hour later to pick it up, and it was ready to go. The quality of the print job was clean, professional and well done. I was surprised by how nice it looked with the paper and ink quality, and it was better than I had expected. They were having some technical difficulties with the credit card machine when I tried to pay, but they were able to get it fixed within minutes after a short conversation with tech support. Overall I was happy with my experience here at Minuteman Press. Very nice staff, quality products. I would come to them again for future print jobs when in the area. read more

My second visit. I had to photocopy a laminated document. The first regular black and white copy turned out super light. It was a challenge. The lady who helped me was incredibly nice and was more than willing to help me get the copy quality I was looking for. We tried everything to make the copies more legible from cranking up the darkness setting, color copying, and printing an image of the original document. Yes, I got what I needed. She didn't charge me for what I didn't take (the super light copies). Too bad they don't have envelopes for sale, but that's no biggie. Awesome service is all that matters! read more

I had a varied experience with these guys. I talked with a guy on the phone and sent him a pdf to use for business cards. When I arrived a few days later to choose the paper they seemed completely disorganized. They couldn't find my pdf for a while. And then it took a long time for them to find paper samples to choose from. Shouldn't all copy centers have paper samples ready to go? And they didn't have samples, so they just opened up new paper and showed me sheets. After a while I got tired of the process and just picked one from the four samples I was given. My cards turned out well, but it took a while for them to complete them. read more

I thought I would try out this printer due to the convenience of it's location. The people were very courteous, a little distracted, but extremely pleasant. However, the product I received was sloppy, splotchy and immensely underwhelming. I have gotten better product out of Kinko's which is my super-desperate/last resort for printing. I am in the design industry so my standard for graphics are high. That said, I should have paid another couple dollars and gone to another printer like alphagraphics. I ended up printing at home on my inkjet and got 3 times the quality of print. read more

This MinuteMan Press is under completely new management as of a few months ago, so any older reviews are not relevant. I came to this particular MinuteMan after having a very bad experience with the MinuteMan on Union. The owner of this MinuteMan Press, Tony, and the designer, Ray, stepped in and took great care of me. They spent over an hour with me just reviewing paper options, printing options, PMS colors, showing me what type of printing looks like what and helped me really understand what you get for different prices. They all patiently gave me quote after quote right there on the spot on the different options I wanted to explore. (Unlike other printers who seem to give you the total run-around on pricing). They even made some suggestions and modifications to the artwork I had - resulting in awesome looking business cards. I'm now having them do my notecards and other materials for my small business. Printing is so hard for those of us who are not professionals - and it can be expensive depending on what you are doing! Don't take a chance on winding up with a bad print job and having to start all over like I did. Start with Tony and Ray at the MinuteMan on Aurora and they'll take the time to make sure you know what you're doing before you go to print!! My rating is strictly for the Aurora location. If you want your photos printed nicely, avoid this location at all costs. I placed an order for 3 photos to be printed at 16"x20" and after waiting two days finally got a response back saying they couldn't print them and would have to resize the images or trim them.. (Downtown location got back within 24 hours and said it wouldn't be a problem). So I emailed back on Thursday afternoon explaining how I wanted them resized, and didn't hear back until Monday the next week. When I showed up to pick up my order, the photos were still wet from being printed, and they hadn't even trimmed off any of the additional paper, so I had these enormous sheets of paper and ended up having to cut myself, no big deal, but considering the Downtown location trimmed my photos nicely with a border, this was pretty pathetic. Not to mention I had to pay almost double what I payed the first time I ordered from them for basically the exact same order just with different photos. I've been to the location downtown and they gave me an awesome quote on my order, had it done over the weekend, and trimmed my photos to have a 2" border of white space just like I asked. The Aurora location may be good for copies and some low key printing but I am definitely not impressed, and don't plan on returning to make orders in the future. I used Minuteman Press last summer to print some flyers advertising a photography deal I was putting together. I was not happy with the way they printed, much too saturated when compared with the muted film tones on the files I had sent in. I chalked it up to the possibility of my computer not being calibrated correctly and that it was probably partially my fault. I was fine with it, not impressed but fine with it, I could still use the flyers. An employee called me up a few days later to follow up and see if I liked the print job (which is pretty cool). I told them about the color issue (as I listed here) and they grew concerned and told me they would look at the image files and call me back asap. I never heard back. I'm very understanding and realized that the colors being off may have been my fault, but it did upset me that someone had gone out of their way to follow up with me, only to blow me off and not get back to me after they had expressed concern and said they would look into it. read more
