Some tried to dazzle me but then kept adding on fees while others didn't even seem to want my business. Some were wanting me to wait way too long for the finished product and then there were those who were always putting me on hold. In the end, the decision was clear, McNamara signs was reasonably priced, an independent business and had excellent customer service. The process was very easy. You pick out the style you want and add feet if you want them. I think it's best to go with a plastic or wood and we chose the wood. They laid the artwork I supplied over it and it came out exactly like the image I had. The colors matched perfectly and it really looked better than some of the older signs we got from other places. Now it was a bit of a drive for me to get there but it was totally worth it. And the best thing of all is that they have a dog in the shop! I wish I would have brought my pug with me so he could have said hi! McNamara signs does quality work fast and their customer service was perfect! I'll definitely be back when I need more signs.

She also asked if I needed stakes and those little follow up questions that made the whole process so seamless. I sent in the art work I had but it was lacking the polish and high res images needed. Luckily Caitlin helped point me in the right direction and looped in graphic designer, Mikayla. I have to say- I use to work with Project Managers and graphic designers in my previous job and if I was still in that role, Id try to recruit Mikayla and Caitlin. They just understood the assignment, gave options ( not pushy at all though) and got the job done in record time. The communication also was top notch and honestly I can't see why Id go anywhere else from now on just from service alone. Parking to pick up was so easy and Caitlin even loaded the heavy boxes into my car for me! They will hang it for you for a cost, but I had a friend who hung it for me instead. I would have another sign made by them in a heartbeat! We first started with them printing & placing our company artwork on a A board which to date is one of our favorite forms of advertising! Both of these projects were completed in excellent form with a turn around time that was faster than I had even expected! Our last & most exciting project was the completion of our 16 foot moving box truck! The team at Llama printed out all of the artwork and wrapped the entire truck including the cab which has now given us one of the best looking trucks in the city! This is my feedback on this project: - I'm not 110% satisfied. - Jim was a fantastic salesperson who helped me articulate what I wanted for the sign. - I am disappointed in the handoff from Jim to the production process. I didn't get proactive communication about the project plan, timeline, and status. I had to send follow up emails several times to check in on the process because I didn't get any proactive communication from the project engineer. - I'm very disappointed with the thickness of the backing for the neon. The production / project engineer team knew it was going to be flimsy. I would have wanted their recommendation to use a thicker backing to give the sign a more sturdy base. I expected better advice since they are an expert in designing and building neon signs. On their website they out that they have over 25 years of experience and I expected that to come through when I choose them as a partner to design and produce this sign. It felt like I was working with a team that was designing signs for the first time. Not that I'm at the end of this project. I would have chosen to work with a different company. My issue is still unresolved.
