She also asked if I needed stakes and those little follow up questions that made the whole process so seamless. I sent in the art work I had but it was lacking the polish and high res images needed. Luckily Caitlin helped point me in the right direction and looped in graphic designer, Mikayla. I have to say- I use to work with Project Managers and graphic designers in my previous job and if I was still in that role, Id try to recruit Mikayla and Caitlin. They just understood the assignment, gave options ( not pushy at all though) and got the job done in record time. The communication also was top notch and honestly I can't see why Id go anywhere else from now on just from service alone. Parking to pick up was so easy and Caitlin even loaded the heavy boxes into my car for me! While I was leaving I also asked for pricing on a potential future project but since it was during holiday time I wasn't expecting an answer right away. They will hang it for you for a cost, but I had a friend who hung it for me instead. I would have another sign made by them in a heartbeat! All being said, its also on the buyer (me, you, etc) to know what you want and basically have your design ready - that helped the process. I called almost a dozen companies, nobody would even come out to measure the sign or give me a quote without paying them a lot of money. Pay for a quote? You can't be serious. Mike came out lickety split and measured the sign and got back to me with a quote. My sign looks GORGEOUS (I will attach pics) and the price was totally reasonable. 2. I got some client feedback that they couldn't find us upstairs, and one of the businesses near me closed, so I had the perfect chance to jump on their sign space so people walking in the building could find us. Naturally, I emailed Mike and Matt right away. They came out and measured the sign and got back to me with a quote WITHOUT EVEN BUGGING ME OR SAYING ANYTHING THEY JUST DID IT WOW. Just 6 miles from my house I'm always willing to make the 20 min drive for a great cocktail, a great meal, or in this case, great signs! With a variety of options and materials you can get a sign printed or made for your storefront, you can get large posters printed up and you can even get your car wrapped in a sign! What a fantastic and efficient way to attract people to a local business. After getting some stuff printed here I'd be hard pressed to go anywhere else. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, we appreciate all forms of feedback." This is my feedback on this project: - I'm not 110% satisfied. - Jim was a fantastic salesperson who helped me articulate what I wanted for the sign. - I am disappointed in the handoff from Jim to the production process. I didn't get proactive communication about the project plan, timeline, and status. I had to send follow up emails several times to check in on the process because I didn't get any proactive communication from the project engineer. - I'm very disappointed with the thickness of the backing for the neon. The production / project engineer team knew it was going to be flimsy. I would have wanted their recommendation to use a thicker backing to give the sign a more sturdy base. I expected better advice since they are an expert in designing and building neon signs. On their website they out that they have over 25 years of experience and I expected that to come through when I choose them as a partner to design and produce this sign. It felt like I was working with a team that was designing signs for the first time. Not that I'm at the end of this project. I would have chosen to work with a different company. My issue is still unresolved.
