This shop…read morenot only completed the repair, but they went beyond the basic repair, matched up the metal rings to make the bag look more polished than it was when I first bought it, and sewed unobtrusive black leather patches over the canvas around the rings to make sure that the rings wouldn't tear through the canvas again. Some women have collections of purses in different sizes and colors that they accessorize daily. I don't. I seek out and acquire one sturdy but lightweight black fabric purse (with multiple pockets and compartments that can keep me organized) that I use all the time except for very dressy occasions, and generally, I use that bag for years until it's no longer usable. I set up the bag so that each pocket or compartment holds very specific items, and I become very accustomed to how it's set up. I hate having to change bags. This shop understood exactly what I needed, and went above and beyond. The next time I need that kind of repair, or any alterations, I'm coming back to this shop. The repair wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. They do excellent work.

Instead of reaching out to confirm what she wanted, they made the decision to use another pattern without her permission. When my mother picked up her quilt, the clerk -- who she believed was the owner -- did not apologize or take responsibility for the mistake. After all the time and care she put into her project, this was deeply upsetting. This experience shows a real lack of communication and professionalism. A simple phone call could have prevented this. I had a matching item cleaned here about a year ago and it came out perfectly. It's still in the plastic. I couldn't even get a hanger or plastic wrap this time for my ruined item. Bottom line -- they've lost a long time customer. And anyone else that follows me should be wary to leave their clothes/items here. Who knows what would happen to them?
