He previously had a…read moregreat experience and even though I wanted to go somewhere else he preferred me giving them repeat business. When I got there a gentleman in front of me was asking how they could have lost his pillowcase. The owner got into a very heated argument with him saying he doesn't know where it is and there was nothing he could do. I sympathized with the patron as he showed the paid in full ticket with his name and phone number on it. The seamstress was very nice to me as she checked my dress. When it came time to pay the owner told me cash would be best so I paid him cash. When I called my husband to tell him that they raised their prices he told me to go back and get his pants (as we had gotten much cheaper quotes from much closer places). When I went back, the owner told me no and got a little loud and handed me a few dollars aggressively patted my shoulder and said "now it's fine go". I got a little nervous and walked away, called my husband to tell him I was too nervous to get our clothes back and we could just let them alter them. With my husband's encouragement I went back and asked for my whole order back, the owner got very aggressive with me and I asked him to please just give me my clothes back and he said to call up my husband he wanted to talk to him. I was by myself and he was getting very aggressive not wanting to give me back my clothes. When he spoke to my husband he called him a liar eventhough my husband had left him a previous review including the price. The owner took my phone and read the review and asked if I knew what I was talking about. At this point the seamstress was now being brought into the conversation against me. Only after getting off the phone when my husband demanded he give me back my clothes did the owner agree. He rolled up the pants and shoved them to me then took my dress to the back with the seamstress to take out the pins and rolled it up before handing it back to me. He gave me back my $120 cash and again put his hands on my shoulder before saying "have a nice day go" I feel bad leaving a review like this, but I did not feel safe there and think that is very important for other people to know.

My black canvas purse had torn and two other places didn't even want to try the repair. This shop…read morenot only completed the repair, but they went beyond the basic repair, matched up the metal rings to make the bag look more polished than it was when I first bought it, and sewed unobtrusive black leather patches over the canvas around the rings to make sure that the rings wouldn't tear through the canvas again. Some women have collections of purses in different sizes and colors that they accessorize daily. I don't. I seek out and acquire one sturdy but lightweight black fabric purse (with multiple pockets and compartments that can keep me organized) that I use all the time except for very dressy occasions, and generally, I use that bag for years until it's no longer usable. I set up the bag so that each pocket or compartment holds very specific items, and I become very accustomed to how it's set up. I hate having to change bags. This shop understood exactly what I needed, and went above and beyond. The next time I need that kind of repair, or any alterations, I'm coming back to this shop. The repair wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. They do excellent work.

A friend recommended JJ Alterations in the Boynton Beach Mall. I went in by JCPenney and found the business. Six women were busy sewing & some were waiting. There were 3 dressing rooms in this large shop. Even with the holidays my alterations will be ready next week. My clothing was ready when promised, the price appears to be fair. Everything looked correct. The hemmed items were hemmed, the ripped pocket was repaired as were the other items. Everything looks perfect and They accept credit cards. Hooray, I have a new tailor!!!

I knew bringing them in was a bit of a shot in the dark because transparent silk is incredibly difficult to repair discreetly, and I honestly wasn't sure what could be done. Chris not only came up with an amazing solution, but she executed it BEAUTIFULLY. I genuinely like the pants even more now than I did before! Her pricing was also amazing. I truly was not expecting a repair like this to come in under $50, and I really appreciated how fair and honest her pricing was. As a woman working to grow my own business, that kind of integrity means a lot to me. The other ladies in the shop were also so sweet and genuinely excited for me when they saw how everything turned out. The space itself is also very nice and thoughtfully set up for alterations. You get a spacious private room for your consultation and fitting, so you feel comfortable and have privacy the entire time. I live in East Boca, and I will happily keep making the 20-25 minute drive to see Chris. She completely earned my trust, and I already can't wait to bring more pieces in for her to repair and alter. Thank you so much, Chris!! I'll definitely be back soon!

Stay far away from this place…read more My daughter was sent here by the dress shop where we bought her prom dress, and that was the first mistake. They completely took advantage of a 17 year old kid who was excited about her dress and trusted them. They talked her into a bunch of alterations and charged $450. What did we get for that? They butchered the dress. They cut way too much off the back straps so it no longer ties the way it was designed, and they removed the original manufacturer zipper to lower the back. When she got home, the bow couldn't even be done anymore and the "new" zipper they installed was already broken. We brought it back, and instead of owning it, they flat out denied touching the zipper, even though it was obviously replaced. Then they had the nerve to charge another $95 to "fix" it. At that point the original dress shop had to step in and call them out. Only then did they put the original zipper back in and still charged the full $450, didn't even complete the work they promised, and added another $65 charge for a "repair" they claimed they never did in the first place. So let's be clear: they overcharged, damaged the dress, lied about it, and then charged even more to cover their own mistakes. This isn't just bad service, it's dishonest, predatory behavior. They saw a young girl excited for prom and treated her like an easy target. Crooks. Liars. No accountability. Do not use them.

They routinely do a wonderful job with all of our dry cleaning needs. Service is always quick and professional. I also have to mention, they have a great sewing service here as well. My daughter wanted to add some rock band patches to her jean jacket and they took care of it with great skill and without any issues. One downside, parking can be wonky at times. Sometimes people double park right out front and block the road and/or the spots on the side get tied up by the school out back or random trucks. It's a bit annoying. All I all, this is a great dry cleaners. I've been going here for years and it remains my go to spot. Five stars.
