I had a disappointing experience here. I was told to come in on Wednesday for pickup (10 days later), but when I arrived at 2pm the work was not finished, so I had to return again on Thursday. They told me to come in Wednesday.. When I finally received my items, the hemming was fine, but the rest of the service was inconsistent. The pants were poorly pressed, and when they were fixed on the spot, the other leg still needed to be done. I feel like I shouldn't have to inspect that close for what I'm paying. About 45 minutes of waiting. There was also disorganization with my belongings. The bag I brought my uniform in was misplaced and it took over 15 minutes for them to locate it. Why would I not want that back? On top of that, my pressed shirt came back with small indent marks all over it, meaning I'll have to have it re-done. Same with the pants. Also, Joel, said he would press my shirt for free, and when I asked about a military discount the cashier said "we pressed your shirt, that is the discount." When I asked for a receipt at the end of this awkward process, the cashier made even that uncomfortable. This is not a good place to bring a military uniform (AGSU), where attention to detail really matters. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! We brought my daughter's prom dress in to have it shortened, a slit added and the sheer mesh up top filled in with fabric that was leftover from shortening. Joelle, himself did the measuring, pinning and agreed to what we asked. Yet he did whatever he wanted. we picked the dress up and he replaced the neutral mesh with black mesh. When we stated that, that was not what we asked for. He said "it looks better". We pushed for him to do what we asked. (Not once did he say he wouldn't/couldn't do it). we needed it for a prom in Massachusetts today! My daughter went to pick it up yesterday and it was not done, so we had to purchase ANOTHER dress for today. I called yesterday and he yelled at me. telling me what he did looked better than what my daughter asked for. My husband went today to get the dress and AGAIN he did whatever he wanted. He stitched both cups together. Ruining the design and integrity of the dress. My daughter is heartbroken (with less than a month until her prom and an unusable dress that cost (with alteration) over $1000). The agreement was he would use the material from the train to fill in the mesh! He did everything but what she asked! read more

This guy is a butcher not a tailor. he ruined my Zegna suit jacket adding shoulder pads as opposed to tailoring it cost 200.00 i complained when I tried it on and he said the jacket was not constructed properly and wanted an additional 400.00 to make it right. terrible attitude and not a real tailor. he also made the pants too short and had an attitude when asked to make them right. worst experience ever. never ever use him unless you want to ruin your expensive clothes. read more

WARNING: You take a risk coming here! If you're comfortable taking the chance with not having your item when promised after weeks of dropping it off, being threatened to be charged "significantly more" for being upset with their incompetence when your gown has not even being started on and it is the day of pick up, have the owners talk about you in front of other customers, by all means then use this place! Dropped off an $800 prom gown for a Hem on back of gown and strap pickup, on March 11th for pick up March 28th. (Prom is the 31st) my daughter works after school every day and the 28th was her day off to try on the dress, I expressed this when dropping the gown off. Arrived at 4pm to pick up, dress couldn't be located, it was not in the shop. Upon questioning this the owner threatened to charge me "significantly more " for complaining about it as I was upset there is only 2 days until prom and the dress hadn't even been touched yet! The owner demanded I "wait until tomorrow" Which I wasn't comfortable doing as my daughter couldn't try it on. I demanded the gown back, the owner and his wife proceeded to talk about my teenage daughter and I loudly in front of other customers and whether they were going to "get the dress or force these people (us) to sit and wait for the gown until they closed" . There are plenty of alteration shops in Boca. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. read more

I was asked not to return and that's probably the best advise they could have given me. I brought in a brand New Hugo Boss suit for alterations to both the pants and the jacket. After a week I returned to pick up the garments and the hem on the pants had stitching in the wrong place and the hem was not lying flat. Also the jacket was incorrectly tailored between the shoulder blades. I was asked for an addition 4 days to fix the garments and agreed. When I returned to pick up the garments the second time they still were not ready and I was told they needed 20 more minutes. When I returned again to get the garments, the jacket was incorrect again. Fixing the issue between the shoulder blades created a new problem and I could not move my arms or shoulders in the jacket. I was told they hadn't touched that area, however, they would release the fabric between the shoulders and that should fix the problem (that they hadn't touched!) While waiting for the garment, I asked if they did all work in house or subbed it out to other tailors. I was told that everyone there specializes in a specific area of the garment, they all had 20+ years of experience and if I didn't like it I shouldn't come back. I never raised my voice, behaved unprofessional or gave them any reason for this type of response. When I pointed this out to the girl behind the counter she shrugged and walked away. Haven't really had this bad an experience before and really will never return to this store. P.S. I was charged $200 for the alterations, paid in cash and I was never issued a receipt for my payment! read more
