I've been here several times before so I assumed I'd done a review ... and so I didn't take any photos. Sorry. We were having lunch a few doors away and I decided to stop by. I've been looking for a dress for a family event. And although I'd gotten two other possibilities, I was reminded recently to check out this store. They had a clearance rack and some good discounts, but they didn't have anything dress wise that really appealed. However, while here I did check out their shoe department and their accessories department. I did wind up buying something I'd been looking for in their beauty department. It was fixed price so no discount, at all, but I saved another trip. This isn't really my kind of store, but you never know. I'm sure I'll check out their merchandise some time again in the future. read more

Went to buy some heels for a wedding and couldn't find anything in my size but went up to the cashier with three other shoes first one she rang up apparently had a pricing sticker that wasn't supposed to be on there without saying anything she took it off and rang up other price tags I started to ask why and after the day went on it clicked to me that she assumed that I had put it on there since she didn't have an explanation for me and I was questioning her why she couldn't honor how I found them and how it would have the incorrect sticker on it. In my opinion the situation was handled poorly by Mahmuda and in Boca I would expect better customer service from cashiers. Sadly they lost a returning client after this experience today. read more

I love shopping at the Nordstrom Rack. Not only I get good deals with designer brands, they also have good crew members esp Nina from Aventura branch. All of them are nice but Nina is special. She reminds me of my grandma. I commend her for giving excellent service and always happy serving customers. At her age, she can still work efficiently and with care. The selection of items is varied and the prices are well below retail. I always manage to find great shoes and clothes here and they have frequent sales. STUFF YOU CAN GET: All the stuff here was/is sold at Nordstrom and appears here after markdowns or change of season. Its not "stale" stuff, they are just moving their goods out of their N. stores, clearance. I focus on men's stuff: lots of shoes, sneakers, casual shirts, GYM CLOTHES, ties, underwear, socks (HOT, COLORFUL FUN SOCKS!!). Always changing, you need to check back, what you see today may be gone in a week, never to reappear. CHANGING/TRY-ON ROOMS: Clean, well lit, well staffed. ALTERATIONS: Available for a reasonable fee. OTHER STUFF I'VE DISCOVERED: Great scented candles, well priced. I'm a candle user, and know the better ones are expensive. Check them out if you are into that. WOMEN'S STUFF: Lots of it, at least half the store, but I can't comment on it. STAFF/REGISTERS: There are a good number of staff, usually roaming the floors if questions. Registers can get busy, but the line moves. NOTE: Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom implemented hand-held scanning/check-out devices a year ago in all departments. Some older staff are intimidated by them, others embrace the technology. Staff at front of store should be available to check you out without waiting in a line. Seek them out. They can email receipts or print them off. It is expedited service. PARKING: Large crowded crazy parking lot which serves Barnes Noble/Whole Foods and everything else in University Commons Center. Drivers are typical Boca Raton crowd, crazy fast and reckless, they will run you down or come close to it, and then blow their hors obnoxiously. Some are clearly overmedicated as well as just rude. This store is located in a plaza that attracts a ton of careless drivers. I am a nervous driver so I avoid these stores as much as possible. With the exception of Whole Foods, I really had no desire to explore the other stores. That is until I finally gave in & decided to check it out. My coworker buys a lot of cute tops here & my close friend has been telling me to come here for a while. Well, I did and I want to thank my friend & coworker for their recommendation. I still hate the crazy parking lot & of course the scary drivers who are oblivious to the other cars, but I will continue to shop here. Wow, the store is so much more than I expected it to be. I didn't expect to find so many departments! Accessories, purses, bath and body products, costume jewelry, perfume, shoes, lots of clothes, and even some cute lingerie~you will find whatever your searching for. If you have the to time to search & really look, you will find some great discounts. And who doesn't love a bargain?!? If you want nice clothes at affordable price points, you must come here. It really is worth the parking lot chaos. I always talk about service being my deal breaker, but here the sales associates are helpful and extremely friendly. This store is clean & organized. The overall store has a very clean and organized atmosphere to it giving you an enjoyable shopping experience. Located in the University Commons Shopping Center on Glades Rd just off of 95 Highway. This is a very simple and convenient location to get right in and right out of if you are in a hurry. Parking is never an issue as plenty spots open up with leaving customers during high times. The Store is set up with many Sections: -Jewelry, Make-Up, Lotions, and Skin Cleaners. -Handbags, Purses, Phone Cases, Wallets, Sunglasses, and Accessories. -Ladies Clothing Section includes Swimwear, Activewear, Formal, and Casual. -Mens Clothing Section includes Swimwear, Activewear, Business Suits, Casual, and Sporting Goods. -Kids -Shoes Section includes Socks, Flip Flops, Dress Shoes, Athletic Shoes, and Everything in the Middle! -Pool/Beach Towels The Staff is always Welcoming, Helpful, and Courteous! I was a little daunted by the length of the line because it was the weekend of Black Friday, but they were whisking people out of line who were paying with cards for mobile checkouts. I'm a huge fan of Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. This location is a bit of meh, I've seen better. This Nordstrom rack was constructed a few years ago and is a nice size. But the inventory is sometimes amazing and sometimes not good enough. The fitting rooms are plenty and you can try on clothes quickly without having to wait. I usually go for the shoe department but sometimes they just don't have much variety. I rather go to the regular Nordstrom in Boca Mall. I always find everything there for the most part. But this is in a nice plaza with other stores and restaurants. So it's always worth peeking inside. I always end up going to Barnes next door or for frozen yogurt afterwards. It is on glades road and is hard not to miss. Who knows, you might have better luck than me. ~ read more

Overall Nordstrom Rack is a pretty cool concept. They have tons of designer or higher priced items for a cheaper price. A lot of the time it's old stock or last season that didn't sell, but doesn't mater to me. I went in to get a ew items for a wedding. I needed pants, a dress shirt, and a belt. I don't go to dressy events often and I wanted something hat fit me better and did not want to spend a huge amount, which The Rack helped me do. Overall this place is honestly a five star, the only reason I personally have to give it a 4 is because I am very small for a 25 year old male so they don't have any size a lot of the time which is frustrating. I found a perfect pair of pants which were top shop and a nice, plain button up to go with it. The ones for a little big on me however they have an alteration station and they took care of that. read more

Nordstrom Rack has some great finds. You just have to be willing to look for them. My favorite section is shoes. They have good brands and a big selection. You should purchase your running shoes here. And Sperries. Way cheaper buying from here! The clothes, bags, and accessories are nice too. They always have some good prices on designer stuff. I usually skip going to Nordstrom and just shop here. The customer service is A-1 and the store is pretty organized. I got the cutest little Coach bag here once for like $150. You really have to plan on spending the whole day if you wanna find some good steals because most times the good stuff are tucked away. Amazon has changed the way people shop and guess what, this means that other retailers have to change the way they operate and at what price they sell their products. Nordstrom Rack is no different and they have definitely been affected by the Amazon way of things and have brought their prices significantly lower compared to years past. This particular location is off glades and 95 next to Barnes and nobles and whole foods so the parking lot is always busy. I like going to Nordstrom as they usually have a lot of nice stuff at decent prices and the set up of the store is such that it is easy to browse and look at things and the employees are not breathing down your neck and give you space to shop. The only negative that i can think off is that the check out system is awfully slow and usually it takes 15 minutes just to check out. Hopefully they can figure a way out to speed up the process. read more

During my quick stop in Boca Raton my good buddy decided to introduce me to the wonderment of Nordstrom (Rack). For those not in the know this is the clearance/sale arm of the popular department store. It's a massive location with Rack upon Rack of sale and clearance items. It's basically where your credit card goes to fill up and you bank account goes to die... Provided you have a patience of Indian Jones searching for the Lost Ark.... There is just so much damn selection, but many of the popular sizes are long picked over and you need to really dig through the racks to find something decent and in your size. In Canada we have something similar called Winners and this place is the bane of my existence. I score this place slightly higher than a run-of-the-mill Winners as the designer brands and selection is vastly superior - just be prepared to really dig for gold... and fight an elderly woman off with a stick should you both find something of value. read more

I was completely surprised by the incredible selection of designer sunglasses which I'm a complete sucker for. They have great handbags and lingerie, on top of a great clearance rack that if you have a little extra time it's worth going through to find some gems. If you see something grab it. Don't make the same mistake I made when I didn't grab that half hot pink & gray Rebecca Minkoff bag, that would've matched perfectly with the hot pink sandals I brought...I didn't grab the handbag, and it's now gone forever. I love the selection at this location. They have a large variety of trendy clothing in larger sizes. I'm between sizes and was pleasantly surprised when I found non-matronly dresses and brightly colored denim in sizes that fit curvy women perfectly. The accessories include a large array of sunglasses, sun hats, sale items and beautiful jewelry. Women's shoes have a decent amount of shoes per size. I always find that the cutest shoes are in smaller sizes, but they have nice sandals and colorful sneakers in larger sizes too.
