This is a very large department store. It's in an area that is a bit unusual for a store such as this. You'd expect to see an inclusive store this size in one of the malls. We'd come to Bealls as I'd received a special coupon that I wanted to use. I thought we were going to the Bealls Outlet store a bit further south, but as it turned out it was good we stopped here instead. Later on when we passed by, we saw that the Outlet was blocked by construction. I was looking for a new purse and a new wallet. I looked in the accessories area first. I browsed the shelves and saw a few surprising designer names. They had a lot more purses than wallets from which to choose. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything that appealed. Nor the types that I was looking to buy. While there, I made sure to browse the clearance shelves of this store section which also included hats and jewelry. I did find a very reasonably priced bracelet that I couldn't pass up. This isn't a store that I normally shop -- as most of the clothing is not my style, but I imagine if I'm near another one of their stores, I might stop by. I love coming to this Bealls in Deerfield Beach- just a few minutes from Lighthouse Point. My recent visit was to return a couple of things I bought online. Right away at the checkout counter, the woman that did my return was very pleasant & was very quick as well. My mom came with me, she hasn't been in a store in awhile. She commented about how big the store is with such a great selection of items to buy. I laughed when she said - this store is delicious! The items are first rate & would be a lot more in other retail stores! We bought a couple of items. We got about 50% off what the original price would be. Bealls is my personal favorite store because they have a huge selection of petite sizes that I can't find in too many places. read more

Today we went to Beall's in Deerfield, as usual, everything was neat and clean and fully stocked. Beautiful store. We actually frequent this particular store. But...today I used the women's restroom and was really shocked! It was a hot mess, no paper towels or a blower to dry your hands, no seat covers, and every single toilet looked so old and beat up. Amazingly there was liquid soap in a broken dispenser!! I hope they can make some repairs and clean it up as well. Other than that this is a great store!! read more

Bealls is not really a place I frequent, only because I kind of forget about it, but I was in the area and I figured why not, maybe I could find something in here to spend my money on. So Bealls is more of an "older person's" department store I would say. The clothing there isn't for anyone who is in their teens or 20's, that's for sure. And in fact, I don't even think they do have a "Young Men's" department at all, but what you will find are more business casual, sort of Florida type wear if that makes sense. Picture your 40 something + uncle from West Palm Beach and that's the men's department here, but what other stores fail at, Bealls does well and the clothing is actually somewhat decent. No, I won't wear everything here, but I did find a dress shirt for work here for $20. They have a ton of Tervis tumblers here- like a lot. I almost thought there was a Tervis store inside, but there wasn't. They also have a lot of nice bedding and home furnishings too. It would be a good place to decorate a rental or a beach house. I've definitely had aunt's with similar styling in their home and part of me really likes it. It's definitely very Florida there. Prices are average to somewhat high, but the quality seemed to be there. Again, I don't think it's a place I'll come to every time I need something, but I definitely would drop by every so often to see what I may or may no find inside. read more

I purchased a purse at Bealls in Boynton Beach on Friday. I used the purse on Friday but noticed the straps were sticking to the ring. I returned it today along with the sales receipt. The salesperson asked why the tags weren't affixed to the bag. So i explained to her that I took the tags off so I could use the bag. In a very surly tone she informed me this would be the last time Bealls accepts merchandise without tags. What? I didn't buy the bag so I could return it two days later. We had never been to this store and didn't know what to expect. We were actually pleasantly surprised. It's a bit like Macy's but on a much smaller scale. As we walked in, we found ourselves in the accessories dept. They had the best selection of sun hats that we've seen. The prices were about average, but the styles were very nice. We were on a mission, so didn't spend too much time in clothing, but the short time we did spend yielded some cute outfits. Unfortunately, it wasn't very well organized. They would have something on a mannequin, but if you wanted to find it on the racks, you had to do a lot of searching. We finally found our target - insulated cups and water bottles. They had a great selection but the pricing was confusing. The sign said, "Sale," but the prices were not discounted. Since we knew the product, we knew that they weren't sale prices. I'm not a big fan of misleading signs like that. We left without buying anything, but I'm sure we'll go back. It's just kind of a fun place to explore. Just be careful to know your pricing when you go in. There are some good deals to be had, but you have be careful. read more

I discovered this place when I was looking for Tervis tumblers locally. I didn't know what to expect from this store but was surprised with the selection of merchandise they carried. They have everything from home goods and luggage to clothing and accessories. The selection of Tervis tumblers wasn't amazing but they had some cute exclusive designs that you won't see anywhere else. For the most part the 24oz cups are all sold without lids so you need to purchase a lid if you want a cup with a cover. The 16oz cups pretty much all have lids included. The prices are comparable to what you would pay online for a cup with a lid, so buying separately just allows you to choose the color you like best with your cup. They also offer the handles and straws too. There was a sign that said "Sale" on the Tervis display, however knowing the prices going in and price checking, they were not on sale. So the sign is confusing. As far as the clothing and accessories, there were a few cute things but nothing I absolutely had to have. I've been a few times just to explore and see if new merchandise has come in and have noticed that the merchandise doesn't change as often as I would have thought it would. Pretty much all merchandise is either on sale or there is a coupon available so you can get a discount. If you see something on a mannequin though, you can pretty much bet you won't be able to find it. There were a couple dresses I liked on the mannequins but they weren't available to purchase. So that was frustrating. There was a large variety of sun hats, more than I've seen anywhere else and they were actually cute. They even had some adjustable styles instead of a "one size fits all" standard. So far I haven't been compelled to purchase anything but it's a fun store to explore. You can sign up for email/text notifications to receive coupons pretty much daily so that is worth while if you plan to shop there at all. Generally coupons are worth 10-20% off. read more

Store is clean, well organized and prices are great. The selection of clothing though is not really what I would normally wear (not a lot of options for business attire). Shoe department is more toward the casual side. The home department has a lot of nice decor although most seems like a relaxed/beachy theme. Accessories are decently priced (jewelry, purses etc...). I just returned 2 dresses in Port Richey and was surprised at the poor customer service. First I had to wait because the only open register had no one there to help. I saw a lady coming from the far side of the store. She reached the register took my receipt and made the return without saying a word. Bealls is clean and well organized and my 95 year old aunt loves it. The clothes, to my taste, are "old lady" clothes - even in the "junior" section I couldn't figure out what "junior" would wear the fuddy duddy stuff. However, I was on a mission to buy a skirt for my aunt, mission accomplished. I didn't look at the housewares, etc., but it seems like a good place to try if you're in the market for such things and don't want to deal with the Target across the street. read more

When I lived in FL I never went to Beall's because I thought it only was for people who resided at Century Village but oh how I was wrong! This place seriously rocks and brings a little pizazz to this weird strip mall that I've never wanted to venture over to (RIP Crabby Jacks). They pretty much have it all here so it's the perfect place to shop for yourself or if you're looking for a present for someone. Clothes, jewelry, housewares, etc (including my beloved Tervis cups!) it's just like Kohl's but with better prices and deals! Not only that but they charged me $7.00 when they mailed it to me and another $7.00 to return it so I ended up paying over $14.00 to return a $23.00 pair of jeans which I wouldn't wear to a dog show. I ordered a pair of jeans at Amazon, Bealls fulfilled that order. They don't fit properly, junky material, I have to return them, and Bealls will not reimburse me for the cost of returning them through USPS. That cost is approximately half of what I paid for the schlocky garment, and I'm hoping Amazon can intervene on my behalf. Place looks like a bargain basement store in the pics posted here, I'd never shop there in person. read more

I have only good things to say about the employees, and this store itself. Everyone is always helpful nice and friendly. What I do not like Bealls is there a website that you use to pay your credit card bill. It is absolutely ridiculous. The website constantly times out when you go to make a payment . When you put in your security information it's says it's wrong even when the info is right. It seriously takes three or four attempts to submit a payment. It does not show any schedule payments that you have and it's a total waste of time. Then when you call the call center which is housed in another country it is very under hard to understand the representatives you're speaking to. When I initially got this card to get a discount at the store, I thought it would be simple like every place else. It took three attempts to get the card delivered to the correct address. They had to cancel two cards until I got it. I think I'll keep going to Beall's but I'll play cash going forward. read more

I am a young woman trying to build my credit and loved shopping at Bealls, so I thought getting a credit card here would be a 2 for 1. Well I was wrong. I paid 6 months straight on time and more than my minimum payment, I was laid off in mid March due to COVID-19. I was unable to pay for April but paid off my total balance in May. I looked at my credit report and saw the deemed a negative mark on it for missing April and knocked my credit score down 15 points!! I will NEVER shop with Bealls again since they are not supportive of their consist customers during a crisis and only worried about their money. It is sad and disgusting!! read more

This location has extremely terrible customer service. Store opened at 9 AM and I was at the Customer Service counter at 9:05 AM to make a return. Not a single employee in site. I waited and then went up front and the cashier stated she could not do a return and to go back to CS and she would call someone. I waited again, no employee showed up. After returning to the front of the store and trying to get someone to help me with a return I finally received help 35 minutes later. The store was dirty, old looking and carried old lady and old men's clothing. Terrible selection! I am surprised that this company is even in business, it is a nasty dirty glorified version of a K-Mart. Avoid this place!! read more

I have a love affair with this store. The brands and the sales are outstanding. Visiting from Chicago, I'm always floored by the prices here. Needless to say, my dad and I load up a cart when we stop here. The staff are friendly and work with you to redeem all of your coupons (some stores would turn you away, trust me it's happened).
