Horrible interaction with an old man I guess may be the owner few yrs back. Came to pick up my order, I didn't see anyone up front so I said hello maybe 2-3x still no answer. He then came out SCREAMING, I hear you (mind you if he heard me from the back he said NOTHING) his disposition is horrible, do not patron this business you'll get the Jekyll and Hyde effect! Customer service following this was awful as well. 0/10, if i could leave. no stars i would. They are crooks. I lost my ticket, so they charged me $75 for a fairly simple alteration on a jumpsuit. That was more than I paid for the jumpsuit. I live on social security which may not last for very long. I definitely can't afford to throw away money. read more

I needed two pair of pants hemmed. When someone I know needs hemming I usually do it. I took my pants to hem depot because they were a little bit complicated with embroidery that needed to be cut at the bottom. I agree to the price because I knew it was fair for the work that this would require. My pants were completed earlier then I was told and the workmanship is really wonderful. I am super picky, which is why I did not hem my own-I find every flaw. I will use hem depot again, they were very nice people and I love the work they did. THANK YOU HEM DEPOT!! I brought in pants for a simple hem at 10 this morning. I asked if they could be done by Friday or Saturday. He did them today, which I thought was nice. As I picked them up and paid $32, he said "don't do that again" I asked for them in 2 days, or even 3..... he chose to do them the same day and gave me an attitude for it! Highlight: had my wedding dress tailored here and I can say this, if they don't get it right the first time, they will keep trying without adding to your original service cost, until they get it right. Highly appreciate it. My wedding dress was a Chinese red gown ordered online that came too small at first. They managed to make it larger, but then it came with an unsightly bump at my waist and they took it and took it in more until my wedding dress was truly a perfect fit. When the time came for my wedding, I was complimented for how elegant and perfect to my form the dress was. Price and service rendered:The overall cost to tailor my wedding dress was 80$- a small drop in the bucket in the large scheme of wedding costs to look great on your big day. I had the seams first enlarged, and then it was too big, so they took it in, cut out the material to make it lie flat, ironed out and flattened parts, and took in the hems. I have never had an issue washing my own clothes. However bringing my clothes here has been a unique experience. The service was amazing starting with the young girl they have attending customers there. My clothes were clean, evenly folded, and smelled amazing. (Nothing too overpowering) needless to say I even left some cash accidentally and it was returned to me. Nowadays anyone would have taken it. The value of this place is impeccable.
