I brought in 2 items to be cleaned The receipt I received stated $18.75 for this service. When I picked up the items I was charged an additional amount for .56. When I received my change, the person at the front told me the additional charge was for using solvents in the cleaning. REALLY??!!! Why wasn't that charge included in the cleaning price? When I dropped off a pair of paints and a sport coat for dry cleaning, I mentioned a seam on the side of the pants needed repair and a front button was coming loose on the sport coat. The person who took my clothes marked the seam with a safety pin and made notes about both. Kristi Cleaners dry cleaned my items, but when I got home, I saw they did not do the repairs. Furthermore, the lose button from the sport coat was now missing. When I returned to the store and spoke to the manager, she explained I wasn't charged for any repairs. She also said she could not find the lost button and suggested I replace the buttons with similar ones. During our entire conversation, the manager never offered an apology. If you are looking for a conscientious cleaner who values their customers, look elsewhere! read more

Time for an update since my review from 2018. Today is my first day back here in a long time due to the pandemic and working remotely. So happy they are still here! Dropped off a top to be dry cleaned & I will be back later today to have two tops altered. The seamstress comes in at 9am but I have plenty of errands today anyway. Spoke with the owner and he is so nice! With more in person meetings coming up I will be coming back here often. I wore it night before and would have noticed large holes in material. Said someone should have called me, no one did. I asked owner to call and 2 weeks later , no call. I walked in with a flag from WW2 that had hand writing on it. They took one look at it, took it to the back did exactly what I asked for. All the handwriting was still in the exact same condition as before, and they didn't even ask for a payment. Go anywhere else. If I could post 0 stars I would. I dropped off two suits and a dress shirt for dry cleaning. 1. My custom hangers that were made for both my suits were not returned, I asked the employee where they were and she said they were gone and they did not have them and that there was nothing they could do. One of my suits is Italian that I bought in Italy myself and the hanger is gone. When I dropped off my suits I was not informed that I would not be receiving my custom hangers back. This business took possession of my property and failed to return my property. 2. Both suits were covered with wrinkles and a very poor job of dry cleaning was done. 3. My white dress shirt (charged me $8.75 for a simple dry cleaning) is now yellow and ruined. I obviously won't be paying for this and will be disputing the charge through my credit card company. What happened? I usually love this dry cleaners. Today I went in. Really bad. A stained wrinkled tee shirt that was dry cleaned? I said I'm not paying for this. Obviously. The manager said to me. "You usually bring your stuff in pretty messed up" and refused to credit me the 5$ when my average dry cleaning bill a month is 100$ After phone call with owner I understand where the attitude comes from. Avoid this place at all costs!!! They made me wait over a week to hem 3 pairs of mens pants and when I picked them up they still weren't ready as we needed them for thanksgiving. So my 91 year old dat had to be embarrassed in shorts as we didn't expect his stay would be thus long. Then we picked them up for close to $50 only to relished they did nothing to the pants!!!! And now they haven't returned a phone call in over a week!! Staff says they have no authority to refund has to be the owner. So I'm out $50 with pants that still need to be hemmed. read more

I used Kristi for many years and things were very good. Then I brought all 5 of my white pants in for cleaning. When I picked them up,I found that 4 out of the 5 had shrunk. I surmise that they were mistakenly washed instead of cleaned. The one pair that had a lining was cleaned and came out fine. I went back with one pair of black pants by the same manufacturer, so they could see the difference and perhaps block them to fit. After two attempts, they were a disaster and unwearable. I would definitely NOT recommend Kristi Kleaners. I brought a dress in to be shortened and the date the seamstress gave me was two weeks from the date that I dropped it off. I've never had to wait that long anywhere, but I was already there so I waited the two weeks. I tried it on when I got home and noticed that the back was longer than the front. When I brought it back to be fixed the seamstress wrote up a charge of 22.00! I had just paid 18.00 and now she wanted to charge me an additional 22.00. They told me it was my fault for not noticing that it was uneven and they refused to waive the additional charge. The seamstress should have had the expertise to pin it correctly in the first place! Their customer service is deplorable and I highly suggest that you go elsewhere for your cleaning and tailoring needs. read more

I have been coming here for years since I lived near by. I moved recently but I decided to take the long drive to continue doing business with them, but I'm very disappointed with the lady that closes the store on Thursday. Because I don't live near and I work, I raced to get there one time before they close. I called them ahead of time and told them I'm coming right on the dot and to please allow me to give them my laundry. They close at 6:30 and I got right then. She saw me pull up get my clothes and as I was walking up she locked the door right in front of me and left me standing outside the door. She said "sorry I want to go home." Yeah I get that, me too, but come on I'm right in front of you. It takes a minute to take my clothes and I called to tell you I'm coming. I'm in between travels so I just arrived in town and I'm leaving again in two days for a trade show. It was really important for me and it's just disappointing the lack of care they have after years of loyal business. I guess it's time I start to explore other locations near me. These people could care less about my business and for that reason I don't recommend them. You need to trust your expensive garments with people that care. I have using Kristi for over three years. While I have had they occasional problem with their efforts to get stains out, and tried other cleaners, I have always come back to Kristi. Generally friendly and prompt. It can get zooey on a Saturday afternoon, but generally the four dedicated spots in front have room.
