They were THE worst alterations place I'd ever been to. I brought two items in more than 2 weeks ago - returned on the date supposed to be done. They were not done and gave ME an attitude - I returned the next day - again not done - they were rude - they could care less - offered to have me come back a third time - NO way - They even PAY for good reviews - there's a big sign - "Get $10 off your bill if you give a 5 star review. Cheating I'd say - Thank goodness I was smart enough to not leave these articles there for a third time - how inappropriate - how pathetic to run a business and not keep agreements. I brought in two gowns after a rainy outdoor party in Guatemala -- one of them a white gown that had been badly stained with red clay mud. I honestly wasn't sure it could be saved. He worked tirelessly on both gowns and the results were absolutely incredible. Every trace of the stain was gone and the white gown looked completely brand new. I am beyond impressed and so grateful. I will not be back. I brought in two pairs of pants, one to be hemmed and one to be taken in at the waist. The communication was rude and not clear on when I would be able to pick up my rush order hemmed pants. The hem fell out of my pants within the month I had them done. When I brought them back to have them corrected the same rude lady at the counter told me that I didn't have them done there when I know I did, I even paid the rush order on them. Between the poor customer service and then hem falling out so shortly, I will not be back nor do I recommend this place. read more

Ventured to West Boca Dry Cleaners from all the way out North/West - from Wellington. They do a terrific dry cleaning job. Tailoring is exceptional and very quick. This place is the real deal; - I hate to say this, but - this is they type of service/quality that I would find back home in New York. Owner/Operator is on site all the time and personally ensures that everything runs smooth. He's a gentleman! They did a terrific job with altering my scrub bottoms / uniforms. I've dropped my clothes off on Saturday afternoon and was promised they would be ready by the end of the day on Wednesday. Considering I have a wedding to go to a week away, I had plenty of time. They delivered exactly when they said they were returning; the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and did everything they said they would do. I haven't dry clean clothes in many years, and it was a sticker shock when I found out how much it cost; that's not the establishment's fault; that's just me not knowing current costs. West Boca Dry Cleaners will have my business forever. Long story short I received a pleated dress in the mail and have been trying to get the wrinkles out of it for a week without ironing it. My biggest fear was that I was going to ruin the pleated creasing. I walked in today in desperate hopes that they could resolve my dress crisis. Anthony greeted me and I explained to him my concerns and how I needed the wrinkles out by today as I will be wearing this dress tomorrow. He explained to me that nothing these days can be done same day, especially with how busy they get (note: today is Friday). He took a look at the dress and said "let me see what I can do for you". Within minutes he brought my dress up WRINKLE FREE! When I tell you he made my entire day, I mean it. Thank you so much Anthony! Everyone there is so kind and accommodating. I was very happy with the alterations I had done several months ago so I took a pair of pants and a tie with a stain on it for cleaning 2 weeks ago. The pants were ready timely however the tie was delayed; he had to work some more on it. I received a text that it was ready so I picked up today. Well, the stain was still there, no improvement at all. He told me they couldn't get it out. Since I had prepaid, I asked for a refund and was told "no" since they tried. I thought I paid to have the stain removed but I guess I paid to have them try. I think I just don't go back at this point; I don't feel they took responsibility. read more

I unfortunately need to update my review. I have constantly been dropping off items for dry cleaning and over the last several months the day promised has been missed by at least a week. It should not take two full weeks to clean one pair of pants. When I expressed my need for my items at the promised time frame, the response I receive is unexceptable, "we don't have the help...nothing we can do..." I understand businesses may be trying to rebuild- but the should not the be customers fault. If we are promised a day and are paying good money- I find this response and work ethic to be rude and inconsiderate. I will not be returning and would suggest if you would like your items cleaned in a timely manner without an attitude to find another cleaners. Update since Anthony's reply: we use one family account, and have all had this issue for several months now. My review is honest- but your sarcasm does not go unnoticed. Now that you have replied I have to to share a few thoughts following your comments. I indeed wish you were honest at the counter! You give a time frame for pick up- one week, which is a long time, but okay. Then the items are ready AFTER two weeks- with no communication or understanding on your part as the business owner. You blame me for a "request" you could not accommodate, but that is not that case, I make no "requests" (your word not mine) at your counter- but I can only assume the time frame you give at the counter is the time frame a customer can expect to have the items by- which has not been the case the last five visits. Not having help is a business issue- not an issue that should be handed back to your customers- it should also not be used an excuse for poor service and poor time management. If you were honest and told your customers two weeks at the counter we would have the ability to decide if that is an appropriate window-but I would guarantee not many people would be willing to leave their clothes if the customers were quoted two weeks at the counter. Florida has an unemployment rate of 2%- maybe if you pay your employees a bit more they will be happy to work and your customers will be happy to receive their clean items in a reasonable time frame. read more

I don't have much of a need to use a dry cleaner, so my view of their prices isn't based on anything except what I think would be fair... and WBDC is totally fair. I bought a brand new suit and used it in a TV shoot. During the shoot it got some makeup on it. And not a little. A lot. Greasy foundation makeup. And nothing I did removed it. After only a three day turnaround (it was ready a day early!), I got a suit back that looks better than the day I bought it. Plus, as a first time customer they give you a 10% discount. I will definitely be back. Too bad I can't give six stars here, because I would. That makeup was no easy feat, and I thank you again for removing all traces of it. :) read more

The boss took my garments and was friendly and I felt great dropping my clothes off after flying in that morning for a wedding that weekend, even if the inside of the place seemed a bit chaotic and disheveled. Pickup was a different story: I didn't even get the text the day the boss had said I would. Then. I show up and it wasn't ready. They bag it as I'm there. Then I literally had more stains than I brought it in with. Nothing was mentioned or labeled; I had to examine each shirt, which I did only when the first I'd checked was stained. Dropped a bridesmaid dress here on Sept 15 for a quick bottom seam hem. Chose WBDC bc if yelp reviews and the owners responsiveness to Yelp messages. A week after I dropped the dress off received a call saying the hemming was done but that they noticed oil stains on the dress and did I want them to clean it as well. I informed them the dress was dropped off in the bag I bought i it in with tags attached and free from stains, so they would need to clean it as it was their fault they existed. The caller agreed they'd clean it, few oh charge, and would call me when it was ready. Three days later and no word, I called asking if it was ready yet, which they said it was. When I went in to pick it up I asked if they'd cleaned it and could confirm it was oil stain free. The front desk lady seemed clueless but the owner stepped in. He noticed there were still a couple stains around the hem (clearly caused by sticky fingers during the hemming process) and said he'd have it taken care of and I could pick it up Monday. It's now Tuesday, go to pick up my dress and it still has not been cleaned! They've now had my dress for over 2.5 weeks and it's a complete disaster. Not to mention I now leave for the wedding tomorrow. The manager said it'd be ready by end of day...we shall see. read more

Everyone was extremely friendly and when I was asked how I found out about them, I said yelp and was given a discount for being my first time. I picked up my dress today and just tried it on. No reason this place has five stars and great reviews. My dress is AMAZING. It is like a whole different dress. The seamstress did an impeccable job. She deserves a raise or a cookie or something. This company has taken a sudden and surprising turn for the worse. I was rudely treated, yelled at and insulted on my last visit. On top of that, the cleaning wasn't even done properly. I had a pair of my wife's pants and told the staffer what a stain was. She ignored me and just found a tiny sticker and made a perfunctory attempt to place it close to the stain and made no attempt to note what kind of stain it was. I also had a small rug to be cleaned. I again told the staff member what the stains were. She again paid no attention, and just kept repeating, "We send it out." She asked me the size and when I said I didn't know, she shoved it back at me and said, "Find it on here." Fortunately, the size was on a label. She quoted me a price, and when I misunderstood her she started shouting at me and continued as I left the store. Not surprisingly, neither item got cleaned properly. So, why did I even give them two stars? Because I had been in a few times before and gotten excellent service and results. But I'm not taking any chances and I won't be back. read more

I will never come back here, I gave two beach towels with some spots to clean and one they cleaned ok and other a hot worst than it was, I can't even use it anymore. I got it back with more dark spots it was before. Also I gave two rugs to clean and I had to wait more then month to get them back. Every time I went it was something and they were not ready yet. Finally I got them and they don't smell fresh, I don't feel they cleaned them properly. It cost me almost 200 dollars and it smells dust!!!! read more
