We've been using Aldo's for almost 20 years and have always been satisfied with both the quality of work, and the friendliness of Sophia. Very DISAPPOINTED in this place I spoke to the manager when I went in for a wedding dress I needed dry cleaned. Since I bought thr wedding dress in January of 2025 I needed it dry cleaned for my wedding 12/6/2025. I expressed to them how important this was and asked if the dress was going to shrink and he assured me he would send it to a company that would take care of it. WELL being that this was done September 26 2025 they assured me by October 17 2025 it would be ready. I called Friday before October 17 and they couldn't find the dress. Said I needed to call on October 17 which was Monday cause the woman had no idea where the dress was. The on October 17 I call and nothing still no sign of the dress. Meanwhile I kept my calm and they called me back and said they found it and that it was preserved. I NEVER asked for the dress to be preserved . They preserved the dress and had to rip it out of a box and I was so upset I left. Well the dress had beads on it that now are discolored , there's iron marks on the dress and guess what it SHRUNK. So my wedding dress that I trusted these people with ruined it. I had to buy another dress and because I'm so close to my wedding date I had to spend a hefty penny. read more

BEWARE! Do not do business with John. I dropped off my Kenneth Cole curtains on July 21st, only to get them back on September 5th with burnt marks and holes. The curtains were in great condition and I just wanted to get the dust off. When I went to pick them up the first time, I'm so happy that I checked them before I went back home because they were burnt, and the metal rings were ruined. The lady told me to come back because John was out of town, and she couldn't do anything about it. She told me to come back on Monday. I came back on Monday and she told me he was out of town and that he would call. There was no call, so I stopped back in a week later. He wasn't there and then she told me that he he actually had "Covid". 10 days after that I come back and request that I just want a refund and my curtains back. She said that she can't do that, so I call the number on the business card and John answers. He is telling me that my curtains were "old" and that "rust ran". The marks (as you can see in the photo are not from rust running from the rings, but are actually BURNT marks). I requested that I just wanted my refund but he said that he sent them back to plant to be fixed. He did that without my permission. He argued with me and didn't even offer an apology. When I finally went to pick them up today, now there are holes and other stains in addition to the other burnt marks. Clearly when they tried to "fix" it, they ruined them even more. He actually was about to say that on the phone and then finally agreed to a refund. He will avoid phone calls from you, so you must go into the store to get anything resolved. Totally disgusting. After all the back and forth and after ruining them even more, he finally agreed to a refund for the cleaning. Really he needs to pay for the curtains all together. Do not do business with John. Warning - any business that doesn't stand behind there work is a bad business. Aldo's shrunk my favorite Hugo Boss Black Label shirt (didn't dry clean) and burnt the collar in 3 places. When this was brought to the attention of the cleaners I was told that "John" would be in touch. Instead, they cleaned it. Now the burn stains looked bleached, and they tried to charge me for the cleaning. John lost a loyal customer today. read more

I am a winter resident of Boca Raton and have used this business for my dry cleaning for the past 2 years. It's convenient and generally has ample parking in front. My clothes have always come back very clean. My problem is with them not paying attention to my instructions. I am very particular, especially with my pants, shorts and jeans...they have to be creased. For some reason this business would crease my pants, but would inevitably not crease my shorts and jeans. When I brought my next order in, I called this out to the woman at the counter; and, she told me I needed to specify my request. I told her I did...to her...and she didn't like my comment...kind of gave me an attitude!! So, I am returning the favor by never going there again. Additionally, I dropped my order off on a Monday and was told it would be ready on Thursday after 5. I happened to be in the area that Thursday about 3pm and stopped in to see if the order was ready. The woman checked the computer and then pointed to a sign that said pick up orders after 5pm. She made no attempt to she if she could find the order in the cleaning part of the business. I travel about 25 minutes and pass by many, many other establishments specifically to come here. The seamstress here is absolutely the best! She can take anything and change it around any way you want it and make it look perfect! Love her! Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

As one of your other reviewers wrote, Sophia is a great employee, but the manager is rude and very unprofessional. I brought in a new cashmere sweater which they shrunk and it was returned to me with the stain I brought it in with. I told Sophia about it, and she never told John (the manager). When I told him, all he does is argue with you. Did you know that all dry cleaners (including Aldos) wash 60% of all items brought in. Here I'm paying for pricey dry cleaning and they're washing them anyway. I was told that all his customers are happy and that he doesn't get complaints - maybe they told complain, but I doubt they return! read more

This place is a scam taking advantage of everyone foolish enough to pay their inflated rates for sub par dry cleaning ($7+ per shirt). I have a mixture of high end designer shirts $300+ Valentino and also cheap throw away shirts I buy to beat up. I wanted to launder some of my cheap shirts and the manager who is always here is telling me they have to follow the label (this may work on most people to get them to pay inflated $7 rates) and I insisted him to launder them. He tries again to pressure me into paying for their dry cleaning service by telling me they don't assume responsibility for anything that happens to the clothes and asked me to sign a waiver. I have been getting my clothing dry cleaned for over 10 years multi state and never had been asked to sign a damage waiver. Any good cleaner will replace what they break no questions. Not this one. They nickel and dime you for everything. In fact the last time I picked my stuff up from this place I had dry cleaned my shirts and ended up with a broken button anyway. I explained this to the manager and he called me a liar. You can kiss any service away if you don't hand them your wallet, pretty clear they don't understand how word of mouth can damage their business, or they just don't care. They immaculately take care of my high end couture items ( I brought them 2 horribly stained Versace dresses) and they came back to me looking new! ... They do an excellent job with shirts and everything is perfectly hung with tissue lining the garments . I used to cringe bringing clothes to other places only being 50% satisfied ... Very expensive and for poor results. They didn't get out even the easiest of stains and ruined alterations made previously. Although they offered to fix it, the final result after almost 2 weeks was exactly the same and the seamstress (who was supposed to fix it) seemed to have no idea what was wrong. One star is an overstatement. I have been a loyal customer, by their own records since since 2004. By their own records, I have spent over $3,000.00. I have continued to do business with them subsequent to the change of ownership, in spite of the decline in quality of work and counter service due to habit, proximity and convenience. I am now totally disappointed. Belonging to a club that promotes this business and offers a 10 % discount, I was declined the discount on a cleaning bill of over $200.00.Their explanation was that I did not provide my membership card in advance.. They pointed to a barely legible hand written sign in the corner of their shop; at a distance in excess of 7 feet, small letters and poor handwriting. They accused me of trying to steel from them the 10%. They in fact ripped me off for the $20.00 plus. I asked to speak with the owner and was declined. I will never be back and I recommend that no one patronize ALDOS in light of their business practices, their less then acceptable work and their condescending "gotcha" attitude. I will tell everyone I know and ask all of them to pass it on. There are too many alternative businesses that conduct themselves with a professional, businesslike and customer centric attitude. read more
