Jason and his staff provide excellent service at Sun Beach Laundry. After moving nearby, I tried their wash and fold service when I was short on time, and everything came back expertly folded--even fitted sheets and it smelled phenomenal. Their reasonable prices convinced me to keep using them instead of doing my own laundry. When guests stay at my place, they drop off used linens, and sometimes Jason will even deliver clean laundry to my home if I'm away. This very clean coin laundromat was a perfect place to wash large items (like a quilt or comforter). Staff was very helpful in answering questions and suggestions for timing the dryer. Parking was also very easy, backed into my spot and laundry didn't even get wet in the rain. read more

My washing machine broke a day before a trip and I had a ton of stuff to wash so I stopped by to wash it here! This was my first time to a laundromat and Brenda was so helpful explaining the process to me and which washers to use for each load I had to do. Great price and service! Called Sun Beach Laundry to see if they take drop-offs after several failed attempts to drop off our laundry at few other locations last minute. They answered the phone quickly and were very confirming. You wont be disappointed coming here. When you enter you fill find the area to drop off the laundry right away. The laundry mat is nice and clean and the ladies are wonderful. Prices are affordable and one of the most pleasant laundry places I have been! They were able to do our 20lb of laundry in 1 day and folded every very nicely. This place was about 20 minutes away from our stay but totally worth it! So I've been to many laundromats, and as far as laundromat experiences go, Sun Beach is by far the cleanest, the nicest, and even the friendliest laundromat I've been to yet. I'm not sure if it's a family run business or not, but all 3 employees were extremely courteous to me as well as to each other. I'm guessing that bc we're on the barrier island, the traffic in and out isn't as heavy as other places in town. In fact, the nice man who runs it told me that most ppl I. Lauderdale by the Sea drop their laundry off and have the staff do it for a reasonable price by the pound (good to know). So, as you could guess, there were plenty of available machines for me to use so that all my laundry starts and finishes at the same time. They have several washer sizes from small to large, heavy loads and they even have 2 size dryers. All the machines and the areas were very clean. No lint or garbage or spilled laundry soap all over the counters.... They also have tv going with places to sit so that you don't have to wait in your car or walk around. The machines operate by coin or you can download an app to add funds to. I'll use these guys again- in fact I'm going this afternoon. Woo hoo lol read more

Then they sold it to Doug he was just awesome .now new owners they are just the greatest people, I didn't get to work with them which I should of done .,but now I'm kicking my self in my butt for not working with them.this place is so clean & beautiful. I looked on yelp and found Sun Beach. The price was worth it, and they did a great job. I'm usually fussy about my laundry, but I acquiesced since family and beach time was more important. The business hours were perfect, and they opened early enough for me to drop it off and pick it up the same day. More importantly, they did a great job. Excellent Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services. A++. Have been going to this laundry center since moving to the area 7 years ago. While it has always been a big convenience to me to have it there for fold and wash services and reasonably priced dry cleaning, since being taken oven by the new owners Brenda and her partner it is now far superior to any laundromat I have ever gone to over the years. Not only does the facility look much better, but the wash and fold laundry looks brighter, and the dry cleaning much better than it ever looked before. Due in large part to Brenda using high quality brands of soap such as Tide and Gain and extras like Oxy - none for an extra cost. Highly, highly recommend. By accident, charged too much on drop off of laundry. They caught the error, apologized and corrected on pick up, and even confirmed a pair of Sox that came unconnected in process. Cleaning is first rate, but honestly and care is remarkable. read more

I haven't been to a laundry mat in years and couldn't decide which machines to use because I had some big blankets and towels. The staff was very helpful and even bought back the quarters I didn't use (I got way too many). I hate going to a laundry mat, but this place seems much nicer than your average laundry mat. I needed a place to wash all of my pillows, comforters, rugs and throw blankets and this place is awesome! So clean. Brand new machines. Reasonable price. They have 2 washing machines that hold 3 loads of laundry, and it's only $7. The giant dryers hold 5 loads. They even have an app that you can use to pay rather than needing cash and exchanging them for quarters (they do have that too). I never carry cash so this was a bonus! I thought I'd be doing this laundry all day, but because of how many machines they have, it took no time at all. I'll be back to do my giant loads! read more

Finally a great location a great family running the business and the prices are reasonable!. Options to wash small medium large extra large lids. The dryers actually dry your clothing I haven't had issues on shrinkage or clothes still wet after drying for half hour. Lovely laundry place.
