When I raised the concern, instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable resolution, the company dismissed the damage entirely, hid behind "industry standards," and claimed the changes were within "normal tolerances," despite the fact that the garments were materially altered and unusable. What was especially frustrating is that a prior issue with a different garment had already occurred, which they acknowledged at the time by offering compensation as a "courtesy." Now, faced with a much larger and more obvious loss, they refused any accountability. I expected professionalism and care commensurate with handling expensive clothing. Instead, I was met with deflection and a refusal to stand behind their work. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing valuable or tailored garments here.

Probably self explanatory but if I were younger I'd just trust that they'd tell me if they didn't get the stains out and pay and walk out on my merry way. I dropped of 2 items with stains- they provided an estimated date and said they'd call me when they were ready and if they had any issues. 10 days passed and I didn't hear back, so I called to check and they were done. At pick up, she brought the items out in plastic and told me the total. I checked both- one was clean. The other was in the exact same condition. When I asked the cashier about it she said oh they said they had trouble with those. They were scared to try certain things because of the material (they're satin). I didn't know what the stains were. She was just going to charge me full price for both items and not mention that these pants were just as stained as I left them. I asked them to try again on the pants, so she did take the charge off and send them back. Again she gave me an estimated pick up date and said they'd call if they had any issues and when they were ready. Still no calls by the estimated pick up date so I called, and again they were "ready." I asked if they had any better luck, she said "yeah they did." So I checked them and some spots were more faded to a white than a reddish pink; mostly the stains were still very present and at least as bad as before. After I inspected them and noticed this, she said "oh yeah they had some trouble with those." Like she had no idea before I looked at them that they were not clean. It would be one thing if I dropped these off, not knowing what the stains are, and they told me upfront hey just so you know I'm not sure if we can get this out of not, and we still have to charge you for trying. No problem! What bothers me is pretending they're fine until I look at them and notice they're not. I'll find an honest and upfront practice for the next items I need dry cleaned or tailored.
