I dint understand her I thought she said $15 I gave her 3 the bill was $50 a dress not with $20. I was floored. A simple 2 inch hem $50 that's ridiculous absurd abd just disgusting. I took a holiday dress in for hemming for a party. The seamstress insisted that I did. It need to try it on, that she could see from a " hair clip" I had put, where the hem needed to be? when I picked up, day of party, put on to go out, the dress did not cover my bottom. She had not just hemmed, but cut off more than 2 1/2 inches extra. The store now takes no responsibilit, will not even offer refund of the service? I have been using them for over ten years as well as my family. This is a family own business that I miss anymore. They always greet you with your name and a smile, remember big events and treat you special. Remembering my kids wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, graduations and everything in between. They even got upset at my mothers passing. Good price and fast service is standard for them, I have brought in items with things in pockets, missing buttons etc. they always take care to keep things for me, and even fix loss and missing buttons if they can. read more

Recently went to Sunshine Dry Cleaners for the first time and they definitely exceeded my expectations. I turned in two business shirts and a suit to be cleaned. I chose light starch for the shirts and the typical creasing for the slacks. Pricing was definitely comparable to other locations at $5.70 per shirt and $13.50 for the suit. I wasn't in a hurry to have the items returned to me so I chose the standard waiting period. Gave them my items on a Tuesday and had them ready by Thursday. They gave extra effort by stuffing the arms of my jacket with tissue paper to prevent wrinkling while hanging, made sure to put the plastic strip around the collar and the arms of the shirts to keep it from folding on top of itself, and overall took care of cleaning quality and presentation. Reviews are true. You want good service for your nice clothes then you'll pay for it. This place holds true but it is worth every penny. I come in once a month to drop off my gear and spend way too much but when I pick up my clothes, it's always crispy soft and wrinkle free. Nice folks. Good turn around time. Unlike most places, they handle all of your needs onsite. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. After reading some of the reviews, I was worried it might be a bit pricey but I found their prices to be incredible. They take their time to pay attention to little details, such as the presentation of your clothes in their bags and how they're delivered to you. I was looking for a place that could do alterations and based on the great reviews from Yelp about Sunshine Cleaners I took my clothes there. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience as everyone else. The people are nice and the job was done correctly, but it was the way it was handled in my particular situation. I called to see if my clothes were ready on the day I was given for pickup and told yes, and given a specific amount. I got cash and drove to the cleaners later that day. Mind you, I do not live in Tamarac anymore I live north. Once I got there I was told that my clothes were not ready they still needed to be pressed because they had an issue with equipment and could I come back tomorrow in the evening. I said OK but I was thinking someone should have called me and let me know seeing as how I called earlier. I went back the next day and was given a different price adding an additional eight bucks to the final price. I mentioned it to the lady and she said that I was quoted wrong because they were waiting on some additional information. It's not the fact that I had to pay a lot for the job done because I expected it. It was the fact that they gave me wrong information and I already had taken cash out of the bank and I had to drive to this place twice when I don't live in the area anymore. Imagine if I did not have any money in my bank and that's all the cash I had. I'm sure they do good business but I hope what happened to me does not happen to anyone else and they stay consistent. But as for me they lost a customer because I will not be driving down for that kind of service I will look for a cleaner in my area. read more
