My husband sent me here to have a dress altered along with his pants let out. He previously had a great experience and even though I wanted to go somewhere else he preferred me giving them repeat business. When I got there a gentleman in front of me was asking how they could have lost his pillowcase. The owner got into a very heated argument with him saying he doesn't know where it is and there was nothing he could do. I sympathized with the patron as he showed the paid in full ticket with his name and phone number on it. The seamstress was very nice to me as she checked my dress. When it came time to pay the owner told me cash would be best so I paid him cash. When I called my husband to tell him that they raised their prices he told me to go back and get his pants (as we had gotten much cheaper quotes from much closer places). When I went back, the owner told me no and got a little loud and handed me a few dollars aggressively patted my shoulder and said "now it's fine go". I got a little nervous and walked away, called my husband to tell him I was too nervous to get our clothes back and we could just let them alter them. With my husband's encouragement I went back and asked for my whole order back, the owner got very aggressive with me and I asked him to please just give me my clothes back and he said to call up my husband he wanted to talk to him. I was by myself and he was getting very aggressive not wanting to give me back my clothes. When he spoke to my husband he called him a liar eventhough my husband had left him a previous review including the price. The owner took my phone and read the review and asked if I knew what I was talking about. At this point the seamstress was now being brought into the conversation against me. Only after getting off the phone when my husband demanded he give me back my clothes did the owner agree. He rolled up the pants and shoved them to me then took my dress to the back with the seamstress to take out the pins and rolled it up before handing it back to me. He gave me back my $120 cash and again put his hands on my shoulder before saying "have a nice day go" I feel bad leaving a review like this, but I did not feel safe there and think that is very important for other people to know. read more

If I could put zero stars, I definitely would. They don't even deserve a single star. The customer service was awful. I asked the guy who sits at the front of the store ( I believe he is the owner) if he could show me how similar the buttons they were going to attach to my boss dress and he gets up so bothered to check. When I asked for the price of a mismatched buttons.. he was going to charge $20 in total. When I had already gotten a quote from " passion cleaners" for $7 in total. After I said i was going to confirm the price with my boss ( the owner of the dress). He grabbed the dress and threw it at me and said " have a good day " in such a passive aggressive manner and walked away. He did this in-front of other customers. I was embarrassed, I was in shock, I was disgusted with the behavior with this man. His prices are absolutely ridiculous, the customer service is disgusting, the inside of the store looks terrible. I dropped off my service uniform to get my rank sewed on properly. The customer service was friendly and great, but I instructed the gentleman who took care of my order to straighten my rank since it was sewed on crooked previously at another place. My uniform was picked up and i went to inspect it and literally it was sewed on the exact same way. horrible job, who ever did this lacks attention and should not be working there. A simple rank being sewed on was not even done properly when I specifically instructed them of this issue. read more

The gentleman that owns and operates this business is very confrontational and rude! I sent my wife there for alterations to a dress and a pair of my pants. I had a positive experience 3 years ago and today he got confrontational with my wife and refused to give her the dress and slacks back because the price he quoted her was $100 to alter a dress seam and the slacks and it would be done in 10-12 days. He then wanted to speak with me on the phone and afterwards he gave her the stuff back and refunded her. She ended up going to Perfectly Sewn and Clean off lake worth rd and the cost was $50 less and pickup would be ready in 3 days. read more

They work so hard and so fast and make even the most difficult adjustments just fall into place. I call to have a dress hem & have straps added from the extra fabric but the guy said if it has double fabric, he quoted me $80-$90, I thought that was too pricey! I can buy another dress. So I didn't have my dress done by them. read more

Be aware that Caesar does not write up the tickets correctly. Nice guy but I had to go back 3 times to get the alteration done as first requested. He did not write up the ticket with the proper instructions, nor did he add a cash payment on the ticket and then claimed we did not pay it. Disappointed on his lack of quality and honesty. Well, after a couple not so great experiences, I have reached my breaking point and understand why other websites provide terrible reviews of this place. My daughter dropped curtains off to be hemmed. At the time, they couldn't provide a price and said they would call me. Over a week later, I called them to ask how much, this was on May 1st. First, they had no idea who I was. When they figured it out, I was told that they hadn't had a chance to give me a price, but that didn't matter because she didn't have time to do the alterations because they were closing for vacation on May 11th. He said something about his wife not feeling well. He offered to load the curtains up and bring them to me. I told him no, I would send my daughter by. My daughter showed up today to pick up the curtains. When she arrived, they said they couldn't find them and she needed to come back in an hour. Are you kidding me? She came back an hour later and he asked for her ticket, she said she didn't have it. She provided her name and my name, he refused to give her the curtains, even though an hour early her told her to come back. My daughter left. I called and spoke to this gentleman and asked what the problem was. He said that she provided two name and he could not give her the curtains. I explained that she provided her name (which he asked for) and my name, which was the name she left when she dropped the curtains off. I sent my daughter back to the store again, the person at the front was extremely rude to her, but did end up finally giving her the curtains. In the end, they had the curtains for weeks, never provided a price and made it next to impossible to get the curtains back. STAY AWAY. read more

Overpriced, poor quality, zero customer service. Terrible experience! I won't even bother to ask that they attempt to fix the poor quality work they handed us (details below). (1) $85 to hem length and shorten shoulder straps on a bridesmaid dress is excessive. (2) Suppsed to be done in 2 weeks; they called the day before pickup to say they needed another week but "wouldn't charge me" - insinuating the additional time was for some unexpected complexity. Hilarious. (3) Called to say it was finally ready and advise I must schedule appointment to pick up, AND try on the dress before leaving with it. We arrived 10 mins early for "appointment", to be told there were no dressing rooms open. I asked why we were told to make an appointment AND to try on before leaving and the response was "what do you want me to do... kick the bride out of the dressing room!?!" When I got upset, I was flippantly told we could wait but they had no idea when a dressing room would be open. (4) Upon arriving home to try on, the hem is OK but not good - stitching is uneven and loose in certain spots. The worst part is the shoulder straps - one is still loose and the other is too short and digs into my daughter's armpit. read more
