I've done pilates at other locations and this has been the best one thus far. The owner Vanessa really takes her time with each student making sure alignment and posture is always right. While classes are small, about 4-5 students per class, I think you get a better workout that will help you feel and see changes within a few weeks. I appreciate the cleanliness and professionalism of the place and would recommend everyone to sign up for the 10 class package so that you can see results. I recommend the morning classes because they are never full and going a few minutes early to find parking in the small lot in the back.

Ready Sweat Go is the best Pilates Studio I've ever tried.

Story time - I've taken a class once elsewhere, it was my first class in a long time and that instructor basically just left me out in the cold as she tended to her more experienced students, chatting and cackling away with them as she gave me random conditioning exercises to do. I felt very alone (and also out of shape) that I was too scared to ever go back to another pole class. Two years later I decide to take a class with Ruby and that was completely night and day. Everyone in the class was so sweet and encouraging and even though I was new and inexperienced, Ruby gently reminded me that everyone always start somewhere and that we should always be proud of our progress, big or small. So if you ever want to try pole, Ruby is an excellent instructor to get you started. She's so talented and really cares about her students and their success and I feel very lucky to get to learn from her.

While I unfortunately don't think I can come back here any time soon (each class they have is 15+ credits), I enjoyed my class with Hanna so much that I wanted to write her a good review. When I walked in, someone at the front desk checked me in right away and she had a warm personality! Very inviting. She shared with me that we leave our shoes by the door, then we walk down the hallway to our class. I noticed that the floor was a little dusty as we walked past the other rooms for aerial yoga and for private classes. The Pilates class room itself is clean and designed well. There was plenty of space between one reformer and the next. Hanna explained all the instructions clearly and she had good pacing. She made sure that our form was correct throughout. It was nice that there were only three of us during my class so it felt like we were getting more attention. I also appreciated how encouraging she was and the music selection on the background made the entire time pass by like a breeze. My feedback would be about the reformer machines themselves. The reformer machines felt a little cheap just because the ropes would make this sound while we would be pushing to get resistance that I haven't heard from other Pilates studio machines. I saw some fraying on my ropes specifically. The platform also felt more narrow than the average. I was still able to do the exercises but as a 5'3 girly, I felt like I had the longest legs in the world. Overall, I'm glad that there is another Pilates studio near me that has dedicated parking and talented instructors. I hope they consider checking the machines every now and then for wear and tear but other than that, I had a wonderful time!

If you're thinking of taking your first reformers class, don't be intimated because your instructor will go over each functionality/part of the machine. One of the things I look out for when determining how much I'll enjoy the class is whether or not an instructor will be hands-on in correcting your form. Through classical Pilates, she's helped realign my spine and hips and completely transformed the way I move and feel. Geri is hands down the most knowledgeable instructor I've ever met--and that's saying a lot because I've been to over 30 well-known studios across LA. My car is not bougie enough for that brake hold feature. I haven't had a good workout like that in awhile! It has been a great exercise and I really appreciated the instructors making it a personable environment-- they'd greet you warmly and give you shout outs during the class, as well as help you with your form. The restroom is clean and I love zoning out in the class- focusing on my balance, form, and vibing with their awesome playlists. My only complaint is the parking lot/ location. If the class is full or depending on the time, the parking lot may be full-- I recommend coming early to get a spot. Otherwise, you'd have to park on the street across or on the same side down a bit. Also, if you are coming from the side where REI and 24 Fitness is, making that left turn into the plaza is occasionally a pain. If there are cars blocking the plaza, you won't be able to make that left turn into the plaza. I've had to drive towards the next stoplight and make a U-Turn because of this. Another note, it's located next to the Metro, and the stoplight there with the trains passing, can take a long time, just a warning! Shout out to Caitlyn and Norely, who always provides modifications in case we can't do the full move the entire time. Caitlyn's music playlists are the best!
