I had never taken Pilates before and decided to try a class as I've heard so many wonderful benefits of doing Pilates. I took my first class at Pilates sculpt, it's a very nice studio, clean, modern. Sherry the instructor was very knowledgeable and nice . I appreciate that she was patient and helpful. I look forward to taking more classes.

One of the most aesthetic studios I've been to! I've tried many studios through ClassPass, but after taking Alana's (the owner) sessions, I was convinced to commit to a monthly membership. She's attentive to newcomers who are still learning & has an abundance of patience to help with your form to ensure you're making the most of the class. She has this innate ability to multitask & juggle students on all levels in the same session. She's incredibly creative & innovate with the exercises, I learn something new with every session! Lulu is one of the more challenging instructors, but her sense of humour keeps class light-hearted, so you're less prone to fixate on how difficult the exercise at hand is. She has such a fun spirit & continues to be a bright light in class. I actively go out of my way to try and work my schedule around her allotted time slots on a weekly basis!

I wanted to be more active and I signed up for classpass. I've never taken pilates before but I am relatively active--danced couple years back and consistently work out to chloe ting videos. I signed up for Pilates Sculpt the open level class and it was a mix of people that have done pilates for years and newbies like me! It was pretty easy to follow. Great workout. If you're looking for a full body workout in an intimate setting, this is it! I had the opportunity to take Alana and Summer's classes. I usually take Alana's classes, and she is awesome with fixing my form. Same with Summer but I've only taken one of her class. Since I am completely new to Pilates, Alana was super awesome in giving tips and making me feel comfortable. I bought grip socks at the front, $15, and required for the class. Really comfy and great quality too!

Beautiful studio.

Beautiful studio! Such a great workout. If you're looking for a workout that you can really feel this is the place for you! The owner Alana is a great instructor. I felt every muscle engaged that was suppose to be during my class! I really enjoyed myself. Grip socks are required and available for purchase at the studio. Street parking and garage parking only.

So aesthetically pleasing!

Love this studio! It's so cute and offers the best Pilates workouts in the area. I leave feeling revived every time. Both Alana and Lulu are great instructors. This studio is exactly what Old Town Pasadena was missing. Plus it's women owned! Can't beat that

Even so small but very clean

The place is new and clean I like it ,but teacher her name LuLu was sucks teach really bad at her class , The teacher did not teach any movements or care about the movements of the students, she just spoke with her mouth teach , My friend and I had such a bad 45 minutes experience, feel waste my time I hope your place can improve to find some professional teachers and improve your service attitude ! hope so

New studio alert! The reformers are so comfy! Alana and Lulu are both great instructors. The parking situation can be tricky sometimes, but if you arrive 10-15 minutes before class you should be able to find a spot. I've had 3-4 classes already and I'm in love! Such good vibes here!!

Let me start this review by saying I've been a huge morph fan for 2 years, literally declining…read moreevery invite from my friends to try different studios. I've been to Los Feliz when I lived in LA and moved to Pasadena when I moved out of LA. My sister and I collectively referred over 10 people to morph whom purchased beginners class, then beginners 10 pack, and some even 15 class packs. We wondered about referrals and no one got back to us. I don't even want a free class but maybe a pair of socks to show their appreciation for all the business we brought to them. We got nothing, not even a verbal appreciation. I've gotten my friends to mostly fill an entire class a few times too. To me, seems like morph doesn't care about their "morphletes" as much as they portray and they only care about the money. Parking: THE PARKING SUCKS. There's only a few spots and the rest is paid parking. I'm already paying $20 per class, I don't want to pay for parking. You have to go at least 15 minutes early to wait in the parking lot for the previous class to come in for lot parking. Classes: the classes are a breeze, they're so easy compared to other studios. I started going to a different studio while having morph credits still and I'd go to morph when I want an easy workout. The flow of the class is different than other lagree studios, exercises have different names too. Some instructors don't even have holds/pauses in the routine. The classes are just not challenging enough. WHY IS THERE NO APP TO BOOK CLASSES? I feel like at this point, an app is bare minimum. Their latest class is 6pm which is hard to make for a corporate employee to attend. The studio I currently attend has 7pm and 8pm classes. Community: As much as they portray a community, there is no sense of community at morph. I've only been going to this new studio for a year and I feel so welcomed and appreciated. At my other studio, I've gotten acknowledgment for my birthday, 50 classes, 100 classes, invitation to join a free class for content, and owners are much more personable. You can tell who is in it for the money and who is actually passionate about lagree. Also, morph trainers spray down the machine as soon as class is over, giving you NO time to stretch because they be waiting by your machine with a towel as soon as class is over. Just feels like they're trying to rush people out asap. Other studios use wipes, giving people time to chill out and stretch after a challenging workout. Overall, There are A LOT of better lagree studios out there, in all the ways. A lot of studios have holiday discounts/founders deals much better than what morph offers. Take it from me who was a huge morph fan who ended up finding a sense of belonging at another studio. Forgot to mention that I been weight lifting for 3 years and the only 2 times I got severely injured to the point of bed rest was at this studio.

She's the best instructor!! She's always watching and correcting form so I know I'm in the right postures / positions. I love that attention to detail because it makes me feel like I'm really getting the most out of every session. Now that I'm pregnant she's really great at giving me modifications. The studio itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up. The bathrooms and showers are super clean, which makes those early 6 AM classes so nice because I can shower and head straight to work (complementary towels, shower mats, razors, q tips, deodorant, hair dryers, etc). There's plenty of street parking around the block and designated spots in their lot. Highly recommend :)

If you like Lagree, this place is it!…read more My whole body was shaking and the exercises are not easy. But after the workout, I really liked it. Bring: water, towel, grip socks Downside: they don't have a real person you can speak to if you're calling. There is only automated person who can't help you if you have anything besides what's the address and where to park. Also, no one is at the front door if it's before you class and you have questions and concerns about parking, class, etc. I couldn't even open the door with the code to go in. I think the key you open it 15 min before class and that's when you can ask a real person questions. I really like lagree because of the low impact, strength training that builds muscle. Usually I do circuit training but this is so different and I love the workout. When we do glutes, I really feel it in my glutes. Usually I don't when I do squats or lunges. My glutes have been sore for 1 week after the class. Highly suggest doing Starter50 or Foundation50 if you haven't or don't know how to do the moves on the lagree machine. Do like 5 classes, even the instructor suggested it because in the regular class, the instructor doesn't come down on the machine and correct your posture at all and it is very fast pace. I did the Starter50 class and it was the pace where I didn't know my form and she was correcting it and lets you know each exercise and corrects everyone. The class still makes you work out and I was sweating and shaking. Lagree machines are clean because at the end of the class, they give disinfectant wipes to wipe down the machine. There isn't a good place to put your stuff besides inside the machine on the floor that has space to put your shoes/sandals, water bottle, and purse. It's not big so don't bring too much stuff. The ambiance is very nice and dark with blue lighting. Very cool. Go early to get the best lagree machine. So you can see the instructor. Parking: there is underground parking on Fair Oaks Ave that is they validate for free for 90 min. If the FRONT parking is blocked, drive around to the back of the building that has a weird curvy small road (right cross street of Leonard J Pieroni St) and there is another entrance to the underground garage. If there is an event, and to the parking person said you'll have to pay, you don't. The studio gives you a validation to park at the curvy road at the back ground parking. HOWEVER, be sure to park at the front or behind the building. DON'T PARK AT THE PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET. THEY DON'T VALIDATE PARKING AT THE ACROSS THE STEEET PARKING LOT.

For us THERE WAS NO STUDIO POLICY SHOWN AND WE DID NOT SIGN ANYTHING. We were also not gone for a month, she did not notify us of her absence so we waited outside over 10 minutes for class and then emailed her to ask why she didn't show up. I found them through ClassPass and noticed on their website that first-time clients are required to take the Luxe Fundamentals class, which I appreciated since it helped me get familiar with the studio and teaching style. I already had my own grip socks, but they do have grip socks available for purchase if needed. The studio itself is spacious, bright, and filled with natural light. They have eight custom Balanced Body reformers that felt incredibly comfortable to use. The reformers are slightly longer than standard ones, which was my personal preference. I'm sure others would like this as well! The layout is thoughtfully designed and never felt crowded, even during class. I also caught a glimpse of one of their private rooms, which looked lovely. I took Luxe Fundamentals with Myra, and she was fantastic. She incorporated a 10-pound Pilates circle into the workout, making it a surprisingly challenging full-body class while still offering modifications for those with back pain or other limitations. What stood out most was how she took the time to learn everyone's names, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The music was upbeat without being distracting, and Myra's instructions were easy to hear throughout class. There's a small bench near the entrance for personal belongings, though I would have appreciated a bit more space for bags and other items. One thing to keep in mind is parking. The lot is fairly small, so I would definitely recommend arriving early to secure a spot and settle in before class. Overall, I had a great first experience and can see why people love this studio. I'll definitely be back.

Nevertheless, there are some drawbacks which probably have more to do with the management than Zoe or the trainers. This should be a great place to workout because Zoe is very experienced, it costs a fortune, there are very few clients at any given time. But it's not. If you don't workout with Zoe who is very hard to get into, the other teachers are hit and miss. You pay a fortune, but they make you carry a little bottle of disinfectant and paper towels around and clean each piece of equipment yourself after you use it regardless of whether or not there is a drop of sweat, while they watch you and inspect afterward. Seriously. At 1.25 per minute, you end up spending a lot of your own money to a) learn how to clean their furniture, b) clean their furniture and c) have your cleaning inspected and d) redo your cleaning if you are not clean enough. There is no parking. If you go after dark, you have to walk down a dark alley to a public parking lot a block away and be sure to have change or you will get a parking ticket. Very snobby. If you don't spend a fortune don't expect to be welcome or have a regular time. If an exercise doesn't work out for you due to a physical problem, most of the teachers will not or perhaps do not know enough to adjust your workout. If you like to be treated like a loser, clean gym furniture that does not need cleaning, drive around looking for parking, walk down dark alleys, pay top dollar for exercise programs that are not customized to you, find your hour being gradually whittled down to 45 minutes less 5 or 10 minutes of time spent cleaning furniture, and in short spend a lot of money to be miserable, then try Zoe Pilates studio. But I don't recommend it. PROS: Zoe is well trained and experienced Studio is not crowded CONS Teacher quality is hit and miss No parking Overpriced Obsessive over making clients clean their furniture Cut your time short if they are running late Snobbish: Treat non-big spenders poorly and Will not give you a standing appointment They will freely cancel your appointment at the last minute without apology or rescheduling. Have been canceled as close as 30 minutes before an appointment. Often will not turn on the air conditioner in the summer and you will have to workout in over 100 degree temperatures This kind of atmosphere where they will discourteously cancel appointments up to the last minute, I would be inclined to be forgiving of their faults if they were forgiving of mine, but they hold the customers to a much higher standard than they hold themselves. I felt enormous relief when I stopped going to Zoe Studio. Find another pilates studio. One that actually wants your business, and treats people courteously. Zoe is certainly very knowledgeable - find someone she trained who works at a less snobby and rigid studio.
