RD is the REAL DEAL!! Seriously people, RD Plumbing is the total diggity bomb. I think that RD must stand for Real Deal, because that's exactly what these guys are. It's so hard to find a decent plumbing team you can trust. I literally spent hours researching and texting plumbers on Yelp before I finally decided on RD Plumbing. So many of them want to overcharge for everything and won't even give you an estimate in advance. So many insist that you first schedule a house call for what they like to call a "free consultation," which is a total joke. Manager and owner Ryan at RD has no qualms about giving out estimates in advance, and he didn't even hesitate to diagnose our issues via photos either. I'm so impressed with him, and also with Scotty, who is super professional, super knowledgeable, and super diligent. He fixed our leaky toilet issue perfectly, which was a real challenge too because the toilet is so old and it took way longer than anticipated to get the job done. Nonetheless, they didn't charge us a penny over the original estimate, and they even gave us a deal on the installation of a gorgeous new top-of-the-line heavy duty Phister kitchen faucet which Scott had right on his truck. That saved me from having to spend hours trying to find the perfect kitchen faucet on Amazon! Most plumbers don't even bother carrying faucets on their truck anymore, but RD does! Scotty thankfully detected a leak under the kitchen sink too before he began installation of the new kitchen faucet. He repaired that in about five minutes flat, and he even showed me the piece that was worn out. He's soooo careful and unbelievably thorough too, because he also found a tiny new leak behind the toilet, which was a separate issue. He fixed that too at no extra charge, but he asked us to keep an eye on it in case it started up again. It did start to leak again a day or so later, and so I let Ryan know, but I told him there was no rush and no need to come out on a holiday to fix that, but he insisted! Unbelievable, right? Scotty came out on a holiday and changed out the hose behind the toilet in about two minutes flat, and guess what? No additional charge! Not even for the hose! I made sure to put RD's name and number straight into my phone contacts under "plumber," and you can see why! You should seriously do the same!
