If you already know what's wrong with your car and you tell them what you want they are not bad mechanics but if you go there and you don't know what you're talking about they will take advantage over you and screw you for every dime. I needed to get my axle fixed and I knew exactly what was wrong with it. I took it there and they told me everything up to my steering column was gone and needed to be replaced. The bill was about $2000 is what they quoted. And they try to convince income for me that everything needed to be replaced when it did not. Everything is just fine other than what I came there for.

I told them And they looked at it and RESET The check engine light and told me to come back if it turns on again. So i left with my car and brought it back the next hour because the check engine light turned on again and they reset again and told me to come back the next day if its still there. So i brought my car back to them the next day, NOW they told me i need to replace catalytic sensors too and i would have to leave my car there because they had busy schedule.. understandable BUT IN NIGHT TIME WHEN I GOT DONE WITH WORK AND I WAS DRIVING PAST AUTO SELECT IN NEENAH I DIDNT SEE MY CAR THERE IN THE PARKING ALOT OR IN THE GARAGE and i could sleep all night knowing someone is out there driving my car pushing on it or misusing it because its NOT THEIR PROPERTY when i confront them the next day about my car not being there lastnight "they kept refusing said they parked it in the church parking alot because their parking lot was full, but wholetime the parking lot wasnt even fully full there was still 3 to 4 car parking spots were empty in the parking alot.. and i even paid for the sensors and have them put it on my car.. so my girlfriend can finally drive my car but the check engine lights was still on.. so i left and brought my car to the bergstrom and They kept my car there for week and test every single part on my car and they said the check engine light is keep turning on because of the bad catalytic convertor PART that auto select put in. So i went back to the auto select and ask them if they can look at it n replace the part BECAUSE I HAVE 3years part warranty on it. talked to Anthony and the onwer they kept interrupting me and wasnt trying to listen or hear anything they being really RUDE about it.. they didn't listen or do anything about it.. i spent over 4000$ and still the check engine light still on because of auto select.

Worst experience ever! Zero communication! The service I…read morerequested was to have the battery replaced and oil changed in my 2005 Honda Civic. It took 3 hours and cost me $428.00. My appointment was for 1pm. My car wasn't moved from where I parked it until 1:25. I thought once they had my car in the garage and had a look at it that they would come out to the waiting room to give me my options. Instead, they installed a $254 battery; they thought this was ok for a 20yo car. There was no communication with me regarding anything until 2:45 when Brian came to the waiting room to inform me of $2000 worth of work that my car needed, which included $761 for 2 rear struts. I never asked for a full car inspection. I thought I would not be able to leave, but I was informed the battery was not yet installed. I didn't get out of there until 4 pm. Once I arrived home I took a closer look at my receipt and saw that I was billed $85 for a "charging system test" which I did not ask for, nor was it necessary. I then looked under the hood and saw that even though they had my car for 3 hours, they couldn't take a minute to do a courtesy top-off to the power steering fluid and brake fluid, but instead left them at below the low mark. The AAA battery they installed had a black date sticker of 6/24; a one-year old battery.

Worst of all... they totally destroyed my timing belt cover. I brought it in there cause the shop is supposed to be able to service older foreign vehicles. They broke 4 bolts on the timing cover and broke off all the plastic bolt tabs that hold it on. When I asked them about the damage they said it was all there before I brought it in. I know FOR A FACT it was in one piece before they got their destroying hands on it. When I called the owner out on it.. first he said thats the way it was.. When I said he was lying he then told me it was an old car and stuff like that breaks... Well then why the heck didnt you tell me about it and replace it. instead they cobbled it together with a bunch of washers and rigged it to stay in place. The brand new thousand dollar timing belt is now completely exposed in two spots. They werent even going to tell me about this stuff and let me drive away. When I said I would have bought a new cover if they had told me...he got real snooty with me and said they dont have time to leave my car up on the stand waiting for parts. I came in 2 hours after they started the work and asked if they thought I needed any more parts.. The answer was no.. everything is fine. Mind you the timing cover was off already but he never showed it to me. I wonder why... hmmm...... And they had the car there 2 days.
