They will say things are wrong with your car that are not wrong and try to scam you for more money. I do not recommend using them. They will get the job done. If you already know what's wrong with your car and you tell them what you want they are not bad mechanics but if you go there and you don't know what you're talking about they will take advantage over you and screw you for every dime. I needed to get my axle fixed and I knew exactly what was wrong with it. I took it there and they told me everything up to my steering column was gone and needed to be replaced. The bill was about $2000 is what they quoted. And they try to convince income for me that everything needed to be replaced when it did not. DO NOT GO THERE I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE. first of all me and my whole family we all go to the auto select in neenah if we have any issues with our cars, But recently i took my 2008 infiniti g35x to auto select in neenah and have them look at my car because the interior lights wasnt working And the license plate lights weren't working... but while my car was there they told me i need to get my catalytic converter Fixed and i got it fixed spent around 1500$ on it but when i picked up my car there was a check engine light on. I told them And they looked at it and RESET The check engine light and told me to come back if it turns on again. So i left with my car and brought it back the next hour because the check engine light turned on again and they reset again and told me to come back the next day if its still there. So i brought my car back to them the next day, NOW they told me i need to replace catalytic sensors too and i would have to leave my car there because they had busy schedule.. understandable BUT IN NIGHT TIME WHEN I GOT DONE WITH WORK AND I WAS DRIVING PAST AUTO SELECT IN NEENAH I DIDNT SEE MY CAR THERE IN THE PARKING ALOT OR IN THE GARAGE and i could sleep all night knowing someone is out there driving my car pushing on it or misusing it because its NOT THEIR PROPERTY when i confront them the next day about my car not being there lastnight "they kept refusing said they parked it in the church parking alot because their parking lot was full, but wholetime the parking lot wasnt even fully full there was still 3 to 4 car parking spots were empty in the parking alot.. and i even paid for the sensors and have them put it on my car.. so my girlfriend can finally drive my car but the check engine lights was still on.. so i left and brought my car to the bergstrom and They kept my car there for week and test every single part on my car and they said the check engine light is keep turning on because of the bad catalytic convertor PART that auto select put in. So i went back to the auto select and ask them if they can look at it n replace the part BECAUSE I HAVE 3years part warranty on it. talked to Anthony and the onwer they kept interrupting me and wasnt trying to listen or hear anything they being really RUDE about it.. they didn't listen or do anything about it.. i spent over 4000$ and still the check engine light still on because of auto select. read more

I just picked up my truck after I dropped it off short notice , had trouble with my stability control going off and reducing engine power They said they could trouble shoot it in between jobs to find out what causes it, I was fine with that ( cause after all I just popped in there), just to get a general idea , but they went the EXTRA mile and actually got their lap top from Appleton to reset the electronics (updated ,set it to specs)on the electronic gas pedal I installed about a month ago. All this for a fraction what should have cost me. AutoSelect in Neenah is under new management, which I was not aware about nor was I aware that they have had some, lets say, less than stellar reviews in the past. Well here is my short version of the great service I received when I went into AutoSelect today May 9th, 2017. I went into Auto Select today to have an exhaust issue checked out. Terry thoroughly explained the issue and gave me two solutions. I carefully weighted my options and decided to go with the an exhaust sleeve to mend the pipe. Once I decided on the fix I was asked if I wanted them to fix it today. "Today", I surprising stated and they said, "yes today". I was shocked because one usually would have to schedule another time to have an issue fixed after all I was just going in for an estimate. An estimate I couldn't refuse I must say. The fix would take about two hours so Jack offered me a ride home and he picked me up when the job was complete. Jack and Terry did a great job! They were very thorough and professional. A week before Christmas I needed to take my car in to get the ball joints looked at because there seemed to be some wearing on one of the front tires. I had never been to this shop before but my mother and sister had both gone to the Auto Select location in Appleton in the past whenever they needed work done to their vehicles. I had heard nothing but good things about the Neenah location so I figured I would give it a shot. I took it in for a consultation and was given an estimate on what it would cost for the total front end work. As I only had a limited budget to spend, I said I would come back when we could get the money together. As I was leaving I stopped and asked the man at the front desk who had been helping me, Terry, a question I had about a misfiring coil in the engine that needed work as well. I hadn't brought it up initially because I knew the front end was the priority. But I figured since nothing was getting worked on that day I would ask him about it anyway, considering I knew sooner than later it would need to be fixed as well. We began talking and I explained to him how we had a 4 hour trip ahead of us the following week for Christmas so I was pretty desperate to get everything fixed. (I have an 11 month old, and our worst fear was breaking down in this cold weather in the North woods). Terry went above and beyond to work with me to make it affordable and possible for us to pay for what needed to be done. Needless to say, I was in tears when I left the shop for how considerate and helpful he had been! It was such a relief to come across a shop that wasn't just focused on making their next dollar, but truly cares about their customers. We ended up getting our car in the shop the next week, and when I had dropped it off I asked them if they could take a look at the coil in the engine as well, for I had driven 30 minutes a couple days before and it seemed the engine was running worse than usual. We picked it up the next day (they were swamped, due to it being a few days before Christmas) and it felt like I was driving a new car! All issues were fixed, and we had a safe, comfortable and stress-free ride there and back thanks to the guys at Auto Select, Neenah! Overall, this will always be the shop we go to as long as we live in the area. These guys go above and beyond to help you and are honest, trustworthy and provide high quality service.
