Raymond's Barber Shop - Precision cut - Barbers Near Me - Santee, California

My barber, Mike, just moved to this location. I had no problem following him here because he's a professional. I've gotten my haircut all over the world, and no one has come close to Mike. And for the price? He can't be beat. Mike is a fantastic barber and person. If you want to talk, he's open for a conversation, but he doesn't force the small talk and let's you lead the conversation. I was hesitant going to a new shop at first, however, any doubts were gone once I walked in. It was a welcoming environment and everyone was friendly. I can't stand the pretentiousness found at some shops, but you won't find that at Raymond's. If you're looking for an amazing haircut at a great price, hit Mike Soto up at Raymond's. read more

Top notch barber shop. I've been a personal client of Paul for a few years, he did my cut for my wedding and I wouldn't trust any other barbers with that. All the boys at Raymond's are like Rembrandt or Picasso with shears and clippers. Stop on by for a cut, you won't regret it. I also recommend the hot shave, it's relaxing and refreshing. read more

This place is great . Staffed with solid barbers that know what they are doing . Don't be dissuaded by the long wait if you don't have an appointment . If you walk in just wait and try one them out . You will want to return and make an appointment for the next time because they have a solid clientele of regulars. Not a hipster barbershop just a good 'ol throwback shop where you can sit back ,enjoy a beer and be politically incorrect . Can't wait to come again. read more

Every barber in this shop can cut. It's safe to walk in and sit down with anyone. The atmosphere is very laid back and funny/crazy stories are to be shared all around. Tons of great products with no sales pitches. The price for a cut is very reasonable which encourages leaving a nice tip. I always walk out feeling like I got more than what I paid for. read more

Just moved from SD to Santee and was looking for a neighborhood shop. This place fit the bill and has a similar vibe to shops I frequented in the city. Josh was super personable and gave me a great cut. Even took the time to introduce me to the other barbers and the owner, Javier. Everyone was friendly, and the prices are what one should expect for a quality cut in a legit shop. I'll be back for sure. read more

Awesome barber shop! Everyone knows how to cut hair. Been going to Paul for 3-4 years now and I'm never disappointed. The few times I've strayed due to time/inability to get down there I've immediately regretted it. I've taken my 9 and 11 year old there multiple times and they always hook em up. read more

This barber is unique in a great way because I can tell the culture among the staff is positive. I am confident in the ability of any one of the staff members there to provide an excellent haircut, shave, and/or style. Lilly "Chingona Barber" has been my go-to person for when I need a haircut this year. I am extremely satisfied with her professionalism, talent, and skills she uses as a barber/stylist. Since Covid19, I had difficulty finding a reliable barber, until I first got my hair cut with her. Lilly is someone I would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Her use of social media on instagram also helps get in touch or set up an appointment (follow: Lachingonabarber). Thank you Lilly! read more

This place was awesome! I have been trying to find a good barber shop for years. I hate getting hair cuts cause I'm not good at explaining what I want and whenever I go I am usually disappointed with what I get. But Javier was cool and took my basic idea, pointed out where it might not work and then made it ten times better. Honestly the best haircut I have ever had. So stoked. And the place is really cool and vibey. Thank you! read more

Took my Grandsons to get free haircuts today for the start of school. Service was great, barbers were great. My husband and son followed their barber, Mike, here. I like that I can make an appointment while other barbershops are walk in only. Mike gives my boys great cuts. I used to take them to a hairstylist and then come home and shave their necks, clean up the strays, and shave their sideburns. All of this work after paying $25-35 plus tip. Mike does a meticulous job. My boss have been going to him for over two years now and we'll follow him anywhere. read more

Love this barbershop! Everyone is very friendly. Mike Soto is a great barber and I will always be a customer.

My son came to get his hair cut for his upcoming birthday. And they over charged us as an adult cut. He specified that my son said he was already twelve. But truth be told is the barber asked him what grade he was in. My son said 6th. And the barber assumed that he was already twelve and over charged us for the services. Which was ridiculous! Taking advantage of a child cause I dropped him off and told my son to call when he was done. Because I have his baby sisters. read more

The first time I went in here it was a recommendation from my friend Brody. I was looking for one barber that could consistently give great cuts and I found 4 at this shop. Now it's the only shop I go to and I am loyal to no other.
