I am very frustrated and discontent with how my hair turned out at this barber shop. I showed up and asked for a scissor cut, no fade, full taper on the sideburns and neck lines. Not once did I stutter. I have natural curly hair and simply wanted to have the overgrown look made clean and sharp. For some reason, the barber decides to take out #5 clippers and shave my head! Practically gave me a buzz cut! What part of the word "scissor cut" means electric clippers? Not only did he shave my head short but it doesn't even look good for a 5 top/2 sides haircut. I am livid. I am pissed. Definitely not coming back here. read more

I live in Lakeside and stopped in here randomly and Frank cut my hair and did a really great job! I like what they had on the big screen TV and they kept it nice and cool in there and it was a hot day so it was nice to sit in the air conditioning! They recommend this place read more

Outstanding barbershop! The shop is super clean, the barbers are amazing - super tight fades or whatever you're into! This is NOT grungy men-only barber shop. They are pro's when it comes to kids haircuts as well - check out how handsome my 5 year old son looks! Girls watch out! Woo! Free bottled waters, two TV's with a mix of entertainment (sports/movies/etc.) and always family friendly background music! Oh yeah! Haircuts are $20 and you get every penny's worth. Worth the extra $5 that you'd save by going to lesser shops. Trust me. Thanks for reading! read more

Brought my son here for haircuts the past two times. They do a great job an are super friendly

Patrick's Barber Shop is worthy of posting a review. I wanted to get a haircut early this morning. Seeing Patrick's didn't open until 9am I drove 10 minutes to the barber shop arriving 5 minutes before opening time. I pulled the door open expecting to be told to be seated or wait outside until 9:00. Instead, an elderly gentleman asked me to sit at his workstation. He proceded to give me the best haircut I've had in10 years! Thank you Patrick's Barber Shop. You have a new customer! read more

I have been coming to Patrick's Barber Shop since I move to San Diego in 2017. Eddie, Mike and Patrick are some awesome people. The hospitality is great, you are greeted when you walk in and are even offered a beverage at times. I have been getting my haircut with Eddie since 2017 and even though I now live in Mission Valley, I still make sure to drive out to Lakeside and get my haircut at this Barber Shop. You guys are doing a great job! Thank you so much for the great service. read more

Patrick's Barber Shop - Prices!! - Barbers Near Me - Lakeside, California

Patrick sold this shop and the fellows that took it over are great, if you don't mind looking like Moe of the Three Stooges when they're done. All three barbers that work there look like Moe as well. Wish I knew where Patrick and Mary went. Oh well, I have a couple of months to find a new barbershop. Someone in town must cater to a more mature look. read more

My 12 year old sees Eddie here and he is just amazing!! He puts so much effort into what my son wants and is always so friendly!

Great place. Clean and professional. They have diverse clientele from kids to senior citizens and everything in between. I've had hair cuts mostly by Mary and she does an incredible job. When she's not there I use Patrick and he does amazing, too. I've taken both my boys here and they've done well with them. The older gentleman even did well with my 10yos request for a comb over. I recommended this place to two of my friends and now this is there go to spot and they both love Eddie. The point is, the place is great and you should go there. read more

Okay....I have come to Patrick's Barber Ship for my last 3 haircuts. Being military, I cut my hair every other week at a minimum. I have Mari as my barber/stylist each time. Each time I have left telling myself I just need to schedule my next appintment now so that I can plug in to my calendar. Mari is a great barber/stylist. She is welcoming, engaging and is excellent at her profession. I LOVE my haircut. She has many years of experience and has been in Lakeside for a few months now after having been in south bay previously. I brought my son in to get his haircut and she got it perfect. He is 11 and in 6th grade and we all remember 6th grade. Whether we want to admit it or not, our haircut was becoming more important, everyday. He loves his cut and he will be coming here to see Mari again. I am excited at bring in my daughter very soon, as Mari does fantastic work with female hair....did I mention my daughter has A LOT of hair...lol...looking forward to seeing Mari work her scissor magic on my 8 year old girls hair. If you are within 20 miles of Patrick's Barber Shop I recommend this place and Mari. She will take care of your hair needs. Heck, even if you are beyond 20 miles, come on down. You WILL NOT regret it. The shop itself is open floor plan and very clean. Plenty of room to sit and relax, while you wait on your time in the chair. Staff is engaging and professional. Come give it a look. Eddie read more

Finally found my barber! Patrick is seriously very personable and knows a lot about hair. Most of all his haircut had me walking out of his shop feeling like a million bucks! Oh did I mention his prices are very reasonably priced and on the lower end of prices that I typically pay for. The shop itself was very clean and well maintained, bottom line is everyone needs to go to this shop! read more

Patrick, D.K. and Mary are among the best barbers in the city. I can get a haircut for half the price on the Navy base where I work, but it's also half the quality. A very clean shop, nice furniture to sit on and a TV to watch while you wait. When I bring my boys in, if something is on TV not appropriate for them, they will change the channel to Nickelodeon or Disney for them. Although I have never purchased any, they also have a good selection of hair products to choose from. read more
