I don't like getting my hair cut. Never have as my hairdresser as a kid was pretty rough. I have a receding hairline and no guy wants that as well. I popped in as a walk-in, was greeted by the entire crew as they were cutting clients hair, and took a seat. I don't know if they take reservations. Took 15 minutes and sat down. I don't know what is my best hairstyle as I said, I don't like getting cuts and the changing hairstyle. They made some recommendations and executed. Also got my nose hairs pulled which was an easy going experience as well. Big points for not feeling insanely itchy after. Big points for friendliness and good vibes. Big points for affordability. Sal was super gentle with my son! He is 4 years old and likes to move around, he is afraid of hair cuts BUT for some reason Sal really calmed him down. I have never seen my son so relaxed while getting a hair cut . I was shocked because I had to take his Ipad from him to give him hot spot and he ended up not needing it he was just listening to Sal and watching soccer. Im glad I found this place. Took my son to get his hair cut, they did a great job, probably the best haircut he's ever had. Of course I've always only taken him to Supercuts out of convenience but since we've moved out to Santee we had to find a new place. The price is the same as Supercuts but the quality is obviously better. The wait wasn't long; it was better than I expected for a Saturday afternoon. The restroom was clean which I only know because my 7 year old had to use it and she didn't want to be alone. They give suckers to the kids, and they have products like Tea Tree hair care and men's hair styling gels and pomades for sale. I saw a guy getting a haircut and a shave so this is definitely a place geared towards men. As a woman, this wouldn't be my first choice for my own hair, but I'm sure they'd do a decent trim and blowout if you wanted to make it a family affair. There is a $1 fee for using a debit or credit card so I recommend paying cash and putting that buck towards the tip:) I'm positive they'll deserve it. read more

I took my 9 year old son here as a walk-in and Ronnie was wonderful with him. My son has verbal communication difficulties and Ronnie was so patient and kind when talking with him. Not to mention he gave him a fabulous haircut! He took his time and meticulously cut it, even with another patron waiting for him. All in all I find our new regular barbershop. read more

Update: after my first review, the owner almost immediately contacted back. He wants us to go back so he can fix it. Unfortunately, this does not work for us right now but I am giving them an extra star because he obviously cares about the customers and wants to make it right. Had my husband take our son here because our regular barber only takes cash and we thought we would just try a new place since we didn't want to go to the bank and get cash out. This place has 5 stars out of 76 reviews but after my husband and son came home, I was horribly disappointed. We always get a faux hawk style but I'm not sure what the barber did to my son's hair. $26 for them to mess up my son's hair right before school starts again. My husband came to get his hair cut and once Walid learned how difficult it's been trying to get our sons hair cut, he approached him in such a patient manner. He allowed him to get familiarized with the tools, and showed him how they worked. Walid created a bond with my son that allowed him to be excited and happy about getting his hair cut! I needed a marine haircut and saw all of the 5 star reviews and decided to give it a shot. I walked in at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get a seat the second I walked in. Didn't get the guy's name but I sat in the third far seat from the entrance. My barber was sure to ask me exactly what I wanted and gave me a very clean professional haircut. Nice fade, even cut on top, straight razor faded the edges, and even took the liberty of trimming my eyebrows. He was educated on how to cut hair and had many products on shelf to use. 2$ discount for military.
