I live in San Diego but had my dog groomed in Santee. Since I was in the area and had time to kill, I decided to give Scotty's a try. Wow! The gentleman did a phenomenal job, showcasing the pride he takes in what he does! I really enjoyed how the haircut didn't feel rushed as he took time to make it perfect while still being efficient and practicing good time management! The icing on the cake was when he used a straight razor to clean the edges! I will definitely be back! read more

Scotty is highly professional barber, the cuts are always amazing and he puts a lot of effort into his work. Highly recommend.

I took my 2 year old son in to get his haircut. My son woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was having none of it. Scotty was so patient and understanding. He did everything humanly possible to try and get my son to cooperate. At the end of the day - as parents with 2 year olds know- they do what they want. Scotty was able to get most of it done and it turned out looking good all things considered. Scotty was wonderful and I cannot emphasize enough how patient he was with my toddler. We will definitely be going back My husband also goes here and loves this place. read more

I've been on the search to find a local barbershop in Santee that can give a crisp line up, and tapers. However IMO, it seems to me that they only know how to give military cuts. No real line ups and unfortunately I had a lot of dry/ dead skin build up afterwards. I won't be coming back but if you're looking for a simple non- expensive military cut then this is the spot for sure. Just not for me. BTW I was a walk in and they sat me pretty quickly. Place is clean and customer service was good. Back on the search I go. read more

The owner berated and belittled one of his female barbers (who was cutting my hair) in front of me and the other patrons in the lobby. It was awkward and embarrassing for him. I was disgusted with his behavior. Hopefully he reflects on his actions and apologizes to her. It was shameful. I have been getting my haircut by that same female barber for 10 years (at a previous barber shop). She is professional, courteous, kind, skilled, and simply the best. She recently moved to this place. It was only the second time that I have been here. I will only go back as long as my regular barber is there. If she leaves, I will definitely not be back. read more

Great price and quality for the haircuts. The shop is clean and the lady that did my hair went above and beyond. Their seats are really comfortable and there are two massage chairs in the waiting area. read more

I've been going to Scott for about a year and a half, and he is hands down one of the best barbers I've been to. He takes his time but works efficiently, and I always appreciate the consistency and quality of the haircut I receive. read more

Another great haircut from Scotty. Very comfortable couch while I waited. Walked out feeling refreshed. Thanks again. See you in a month.

Scott's been taking care of my hair (or what little's left of it anyway!) since the past 6 years, way before he moved to this new location. Highly skilled, reasonably priced, and a clean shop. Works for me! read more

Scotty is an elite barber. His attention to detail is unmatched. I usually ask for an unusual fade with one side being cut all the way up to the part line. The other side is a high fade. I didn't have to explain much to him. He set a hard part line with a single blade razor and lined up the rest of edges around my face. He even touched up my facial hair to ensure everything evened out. I would highly recommend him to anyone. The shop just opened so I feel lucky finding this hidden gem. It won't be hidden for very long though. Outstanding quality at a affordable price. read more

If u want to get a haircut here, I suggest to come in before 530, their sign says they're open till 630. I was just told they're closed. If ur going to close earlier, then please update your hours. I literally just got off work and wanted a quick haircut. What a disappointment. read more

Reasonable price for a good cut in a very clean shop. Had a very pleasant conversation and my wife was happy with the results.

Amazing cut for a very good price. I ended up tipping 100% and Scott really took his time during the cut which was great because it turned out flawless. We also had a good conversation which made time for by much faster. This is my new go-to and would recommend Scott to anybody! Five stars because you can get a great razor shave here with hot towels and a quick facial oil massage. But FYI you now need an appointment with Scotty to get that or you'll just get an electric razor shave. I wish he had told us that before he gave us his new assistant. Husband was disappointed today as it's such a treat for him. We'll just remember to make an appointment from now on. read more

Great! This barbershop is very clean and the clippers have vacuums so I left with no hair on my clothes or in my car afterwards. The barber clearly knows what he's doing. Usually I'm a bit hesitant asking for fades because some people only use 2 clippers and blend the hair very poorly. This wasn't the case here. The barber probably adjusted/swapped the guards 20 times to make the fade seamless and perfect. He took his time and didn't rush my cut, which I respect: Probs the best fade I've gotten. I highly recommend this establishment read more

Same Great barber new location. Never a bad haircut with Scott. Lots of parking. Super clean and always professional.

I've been going to Scotty's for over 4 years now. While his work never disappoints, I deeply appreciate his pleasant disposition and the way he treats my two sons whenever we stop by. They are not big fans of getting their hair cut in general, but do always look forward to seeing Scotty and his wife! read more

Great haircut. Try to go when it's empty and you'll probably get a more detailed cut. Maybe that's common sense. Your hair will look sharp with Scott. Be specific! read more

Best barber in town by far. I've been going to Scott for 8 years now. When the pandemic hit he had to close down and I was forced to go elsewhere. Man, what a disappointment I had with other local barbers. I never was satisfied with anyone else. Scott doesn't miss a hair. A+++ quality cuts. Boy am I glad to see him back. read more
