Absolute Worst Haircut Ever My husband went here because his usual barbershop was closed -- big mistake. He told the guy exactly what he wanted, even the blade size. Didn't matter. The barber rushed through it, ignored everything he said, and left him with bald spots. It was a disaster. I've taken my son here before and got the same careless treatment. This place is my go to barber shop. It doesn't matter who you get you will come out with a nice clean haircut! My old barber used to take an hour to do a nice fade. Horrible! Zero customers in here with 3 guys just talking and hanging out. No big deal...I can be in and out quick I thought. So one of the barbers ushers me over to him and I sit down. I took out my cell phone and showed him two selfies which showed exactly how I like my hair. Tried out King's Cut multiple times. The gentleman who cut my hair the majority of times was very rude. I've been there over and over trying to give them a chance, and they messed up my hair where I had to pay another barber somewhere else to fix my haircut. I just wanted a 0-3 fade buzzcut each time, nothing fancy or special. I'm honestly surprised that they weren't able to blend the 0-3, given that they have good reviews. read more

This is a really great experience I'm surprised I have not given a review yet on this place since I've been coming here for at least 8 years. The people that run this place treat you like family they talk to you they're very caring they want to know how you want your haircut and they do so much more. When I walk in they greet you when I sit in the chair I truly feel like royalty and you don't find this often in barbershops. I came today and decided to not only get a haircut but a shave. I believe maysame was his name who cut and also gave me a shave. The moment I sat down, I felt that he was in a hurry, and did not place enough emphasis to a good experience, especially with the shave. Within 15 minutes, I had a haircut and a shave. I've had shaves in the past with a lot more care and prepping. After the shave, I left not having a very good experience. I got there at around 230ish on a Thursday. They rushed my whole hair cut and beard trim. I didn't realize they closed at 3. Cause ya know who closes a barber shop at 3. I got a simple 3/4 fade and a beard trim. When he started he jerked my head around and was cutting fast. Then without my consent this guy took a zero blade to my eyebrows. Just bam. Eyebrows gone. I was in shock. He trimmed my beard so fast he left parts that were longer than others. Didn't come back over and fix it. He dry shaved me.... No warming towel no shaving cream. Nothing. My neck was red and burning the rest of the day. After it was over this guy sprayed my whole face with this trashy after shave that left me smelling horrible even after a shower. They wouldn't wash my hair but invited me to use the sink and do it myself. They didn't show me a mirror to see the back of my head. The best part about this whole experience was that he asked me to leave a 5 star review. Dude shaved off my eyebrows, dry shaves me and doesn't clean me up and expects a hook up. Hands down the worst experience ever. It's my fault though because I saw the 4.5 stars and now I realize they're prob all fake reviews or from friends. DO NOT come here. I've been here a couple of times and only had negative experiences but this time was the worst..... At the start of my haircut my barber gets a phone call and starts to cut my hair while talking on the phone. He barley pays attention to me or the job that he's doing but instead focuses on his call. Numerous times he also went to tend the cash register mid haircut. Besides these interruptions during my haircut, my barbers overall attitude was rude and he seemed very irritated at me. Randomly he asks me if I'd like to shampoo my hair. I accept. He tells me to go in the back. I walk back into this random room trying to figure out what's going on. I find a sink and am told by a man in the back room that, that's the sink right there. So I kneel and proceed to wash my own hair.... WEIRD. After this I walk back to the chair and to my surprise there is already another customer in my chair mid haircut. Apparently my haircut was over... No communication. I get home and look and it was the worst haircut I've ever recieved. Long strands of hair that didn't get cut and overall crooked hairline in the front. I did not get a haircut at this place for a couple reasons 1.) Poor customer service. No one acknowledged me as i walked in (I wasn't one of their people) 2.) Waited for 15 minutes now and not a single barber has asked me or acknowledged my existence in this shop 3.) I wanted to get a good cut for my boys and not have to pay more than $10 since they don't have that much hair. I've taken them to a barber/ salon places before but they always come out somewhere between $14-$20 a kid and they don't even wash their hair. Checked Yelp one day to see some recommendation that is not too far of a drive. Found this place with pretty good rating figured I'll give it a try. Cash preferred and it's only $10 a cut since then I been hooked. This place is mildly busy if you come in between 12-4pm so the wait can take as long as 20mins but they do take their time which I like. All ages of customers. The employee there is nice and professional. The location is in a small shopping center east of El Cajon but plenty of parking. I'm never dissatisfied with their cut either. They would come in looking like a mop and less than 7mins later very handsome boys. I would take the boys here at least 2 times a month for the cut, they especially love the color spray. read more

This is basically my go to haircut joint, I try to come here every 2 ish month or so when I get my haircut, the prices are fair I think they're $20 before tip for a cut and most of them do a good job, there's maybe 5 or 6 people who cut hair in here and I've tried 3 of them the only one that I personally will not get my haircut by is the one on the left, the first one on the left nearest the door, I'm not sure if he just isn't good at cutting hair or if he hates his job, I wouldn't recommend using him or if you do just don't tip, enjoy! read more
