This is the second time I let my son get a haircut here with the same barber, JAY, and the first time he left it super long in the front almost like what's the point of getting the haircut? Today the only thing different asked was to go shorter on the front. My son ended up with the most uneven and ridiculously over cut line up. I am in tears and so upset! I have a newborn at home so I had him go with his father. If I saw him over cutting on the lineup I would've immediately stopped him and I for sure would not have paid for this. I'm gonna be honest, the first time I went in I didn't exactly get the cut I wanted, but I called and talked to who I assumed was the manager and he had me come back a few days later and he fixed it for free. Wouldn't even take a tip. I'm not rating this business based on my initial interaction with them, I'm basing my rating on the fact that they admitted the mistake, didn't make a big deal about it, and worked with me to fix it. Used to be loyal to this shop. They take their time at a good price. Unfortunately the last time I came in they started cutting one of my kids' hair and then proceeded to let 4 people cut me in line waiting for my other son to get a cut. The entire process took almost 3 hours. I don't know if they prefer not to cut kids' hair or what but it was humiliating and felt very much like they didn't want my business. Solid quality cut. They take walk ins and usually turn around customers quickly. Really relaxed atmosphere and overall great job. I got my hair cut by Danny and I had no issues with the haircut. Great barbers! The vibe in the establishment is top TIER! All barbers are having a blast chatting, conversing having good music on. As for the Setting it's a Medium sized Establishment with around 8 chairs for cutting hair. A couch, a foosball table and a pool table. Along with a couple TVs. They offer free water anytime you walk in. I recommend Gus and Angel if you wanna get your hair cut. They cut great. As well as Danny he is in the back he cuts hair very well done, but is slightly rough. I have no bad things to say because it's affordable,best cuts,great service. read more

If you come here don't go to "Danny" or Daniel, the guy doesn't know how to cut. He is extremely rough, I came out with a couple bruises. I don't know about the other barbers but all I know is that Danny is probably the worst person I have ever had cut my hair. Horrible customer service and bad quality. read more

My first time there was back in March, got a haircut by a guy named Danny. The cut came out nice, he lacked a personality, but whatever. Fast forward to May. Went back in for a haircut, Danny didn't seem interested in cutting anyone's hair at that time, so I was sat with someone named Diamond(not sure how he spells it). I was on that chair for hella long. It was literally supposed to be a high fade and a trim. He wasn't getting right and at the end of the entire thing, when I got home I noticed he had left my sides uneven, and left two bald spots on my left side. Their shop has poor lighting and the counter at his chair is really crowded where it blocks from seeing your cut completely(I'm short). I called in and spoke to Gus(I think that's what his name was) and told him the situation and that I'd like to have my haircut fixed by him. He told me he'd be happy to and he'd call me right back and repeated my phone number to me (he had caller id). I didn't get a call back at all, and when I tried to call them no one answered. I ended up having to go some where else as I needed to get my hair fixed as I had to travel to the East Coast for my sister's graduation. I paid them $45 for a crappy cut, then paid a different barber some where else $25. In total I spent $70 for a simple fade and trim. Won't be going back again. It's too bad cause Gus seemed like a nice man. read more

the service was good but that's about it. I walked in with about a month and a half of hair growth trying to go for something new. I sit and ask for a LOW fade with a darker look on the front/side box. he turns me away from the mirror and when I turn around I see he basically shaved the entire head other than my top. Looks like he put his hand on my head and thats the only part he didn't cut. Still though it wasn't my requested haircut I had to pay $30. read more

I look more professional and clean than I've ever looked. I usually go to Sports Cuts or Fantastic Sam's, which give good haircuts but it's corporate and cookie-cutter. They have really good barbers. However, I wish they were more organized. Their online appointments are not honored and if you call to make one you are told to come in. Terrible service ... iam a regular here like i come here all the time and Iam a very patient and humble being and very understanding but however in this situation i feel wronged ...but let me tell my story first... Upon entering there were children bouncing balls and running around the chairs while people's hair were being cut (very unprofessional) Ive been to many black owned barbershops in my lifetime... ( im literally from the south and growing up a black civil rights acitivist cut my hair ) and never have i EVER seen children running around the shop , second here is where my problem came in , i showed the barber a picture of a hair cut i wanted and he cut me completely terrible and just messed my hair up , it was much lower than the photograph i had shown him and when i showed my hair to multiple people they even said that looks terrible and he didnt follow instructions i came in with a whole afro and left buzz cut when i asked for a temp sides with medium waves. So. I exit the chair and im a timid person so i pay the barber and leave. Once i get home i show my family members and they agree that it was bad cut. So i call the shop to ask for a refund and the owner answers and goes "you can come get your money but ill have to ask u to never return" to ask me to never return when i left with respect and kindness didnt curse or anything is obsurd , he completely gaslit me in that situation and disregarded how i felt as a customer .... Terrible terrible customer service . Do yourself a favor and dont shop here. All the good barbers left anyways. read more

good convo! great hair cut! I bring my sons here all the time and I am never disappointed

I've given this barbershop 3 chances. I have an Afro, so when asked what I want I specifically state just a lineup all around including beard, to keep my beard tall (it meets my mustache), & to not push my hairline back (which is full). The first time the barber pushed my hairline back. I then set an appointment to work with the same barber to create a better rapport. I show 5 minutes early to see he double booked the 7pm slot. I then try another barber in the shop (same day) because I had plans & couldn't wait for the other barber to complete a full cut. The line up was nice which prompted me to want to try this now barber again. He informs me that he'll be in at noon, I show up 10 minutes ahead. A few minutes after noon I send a message to give a heads up that I'm there. Now at 1:30 because he hasn't arrived I decide to give a third barber a chance. I explain in detail to keep my beard tall(2x), straight line on my chin, do NOT push my hairline back & just straight down the sides in my neck. He proceeds to start, I feel him shortening my beard & I ask to see. To no surprise he has now pushed the left side of my beard down to my chin. I inform him that I asked him not to do this & he tells me I didn't say that as if I'm not sure what I get anytime I get a line up. He continues to the other side & shows me after & it was uneven which allowed me to show him where my beard is supposed to me lined. While lining my beard & temples he made them bald which will take forever to grow back. I'm pissed. Originally he told me it would be $30, so I give him 2 twenty dollar bills waiting for my change he asks if I want change. My expectations were high from seeing their previous work, but from experience I was let down drastically. read more
