After my neighbors had snakes and out of concern for my family and dogs, I called Rattlesnake Solutions to come out for a bid to snake proof my backyard which faces an arroyo. They came right out and after walking the property, proposed two solutions. One was cheaper and actually would do the job. The second one was more expensive but gave me better piece of mind. I went with that. Two weeks later Michael came out, sealed up my gate entryway to prevent even baby rattlers getting in. Then he did my open area cinder blocks finishing the big job last: attaching 36" of screen to my wrought iron view fence. Rattlesnakes can and will climb up to 36" high I was told. The job has a very nice professional appearance. When my HOA needs to repaint this fence, I call Rattlesnake Solutions and for $150 they will take it off the day before and put it back up the day after. Give them a call if you have children or pets or are just worried about Rattlesnakes! read more

Some companies impress me more than others, and this is one of them. Very nice people who take pride in the work they do. From the scheduling, to initial consultation, to all the work completed - snake fencing, welds, sealing areas, etc. - was very high quality, and I'd highly recommend. Thanks for your time and help. read more

This business is awesome. I unfortunately discovered a snake on a Sunday morning while picking up a mat in the yard.at least 4 ft. Long. I screamed, then called rattlesnake solutions. They totally called my fears. The woman on the phone asked me to take a pix and email it (from inside the house of course) while we were talking. She immediately told me that it was not a rattler, but a gopher snake. She said everything was fine and showed up to remove him. Really nice and professional. I would not hesitate a minute to call them again. Just hope I don't have too!! I highly recommend them. read more

We had a snake under our shed. It was very difficult to get out. Dave was patient and persistent. And we finally got the snake out. He was huge. Happy he is going to a new home. read more

These guys are great! Very accurate initial estimate, so there were no surprises. They did a spectacular job. The fence is so tight, nothing is going to sneak through. They secured every possible entry hole, they are pros! The fence is see through and doesn't obstruct you view. After having a visit from a Diamondback our first night in our new home, we new this was a must. We've had no snake issues since we had them put this up! We can breathe easier knowing our dogs are safe! read more

We've lived on the edge of the desert for over a decade and, until recently, were able to peacefully co-exist with the rattlesnakes and other wildlife. That's until a rattlesnake broke the trust by lying in wait just out of sight around the corner outside the kitchen door and ambushed our young puppy as we were going out to the patio. It was a painful and frightening experience, but the puppy survived. The rattlesnakes have been put on notice that they're no longer welcome on our property. Our veterinarian referred us to a good aversion training professional, who then referred us to Rattlesnake Solutions for fencing. The cost was a fraction of what I expected it to be. Even though this is a busy time of year, they were able to schedule the installation very quickly. I had to be out of town, but Nick did all the work while I was away. He called me later to let me know he'd searched our large lot that is hilly and rocky, but had not found any snakes. He warned me about a couple places they might hide so I can correct those. When I returned home, I was very pleased with the quality of installation. He'd installed a concrete curb under the gate at the side of the house. There were a couple of places where the gaps between wooden slats on the gate were just barely wide enough that I worried a tiny snake might get through. Nick didn't think they could, but quickly offered to come back out and put mesh across the gate as well. I wanted to pay for the additional time and materials, but he wouldn't accept additional payment for that. We're still watching out for snakes, but for the first time in months, we aren't afraid to go outside or let the dogs go out with us. Thank you for the quick service and quality installation! read more

My neighborhood was beginning to see a few snakes here and there, due to new construction less than half a mile away. Before any found their way into my yard, I decided to call Rattlesnake Solutions to have them install their fencing in my backyard. They are very prompt to reply to messages/requests and are very friendly! Price was extremely reasonable, too. Michael did a great job installing fencing on my side gate, wagon wheel and a gap in-between my block wall and house. I barely even notice the fencing; it's not obnoxious or obvious at all. The peace of mind this has brought me is priceless! read more

I used Rattlesnake Solutions for snake training my two dogs. Jill did the training and she was awesome with my dogs. I have a Lab and a Bulldog. Both loved her and she made the experience as positive as possible for them. The training consisted of two sessions spaced two weeks apart. She brings very large and very alive rattlesnakes in clear glass boxes. The boxes were placed in various areas and she took each dog individually for training. It was very effective. The second training session neither dog would go anywhere near the snake and ran straight back to the house. I highly recommend this training service! read more

If I could give 10 I would. Jonathan came within 30 minutes and removed the snake. I was a wreck since the snake had bit my dog and He was very caring and supportive even though I cried the whole time he was here. Jonathan checked my entire house front back yards and garage for snakes and then walked me through snake proof solutions and did one final check before he left. I asked a million and one ridiculous questions and he stayed at my house answering them all. Before he left he asked that we please update him on our dogs condition and he genuinely told me he hopes everything will be ok. Took notch professional CARING company. Thank you Jonathan. ....our pet is still at the vet hopefully responding to a second round of anti venom shots. read more

Top notch!! Got to my house fast. Greyson was the handler that was assigned to us on both occasions. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and eager to educate you about all things Rattlesnake or Rattlesnake related. We actually had one snake in a corner on my front porch he zipped in and took it away. A few days later we found one underneath a trash can but she had a male companion with her. Was a twofer for Greyson! He quickly put them in a container. These guys are professional, courteous and ready to dive your Rattlesnake issues. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Will continue to use these guys in the future. read more

One of my pet snakes escaped and had gotten into a glue trap, needing immediate help. My vet was closed for lunch, so I turned to the internet. Rattlesnake Solutions' website was the first thing to pop up. Thanks to their cooking-spray advice, my girl was quickly and safely freed. I am confident this technique would also work on a rattlesnake or other wild reptile without having to get close enough to be in harm's way. After the crisis had passed, I further explored their website; this is clearly a company who values the safety of it's customers AND the well-being animals they relocate. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, humane, and conservation-minded company, check these guys out for sure. read more

Arrived about 30 minutes after I reached out . The snake made itself comfortable in the workings of my above ground hot tub which was opened up because it was being drained. The snake whisperer had to remove all the panels to reach the viper, but failure was not an option and he kept at it until the slithering critter was safely contained. He offered to put the panels back in place, but I was just happy to have him escort the snake off the property. read more

Had a small male rattler who just didn't want to leave the rocks by the side of my house. So I called Rattlesnake Solutions and Bryan promptly came out to catch and relocate him. Bryan made quick work of catching and containing the snake. Bryan also went around the property checking for other snakes and took the time to answer my many questions. Very informative and helpful. Will definitely use this company should the need arise again. Price was reasonable and half the fee goes to research. Well, had Rattlesnake Solutions back again this year to remove a diamondback rattlesnake that had wedged itself in amongst some large decorative rocks by our pool to shed. Derek came out within 30 minutes and after locating the snake, he ran some water down through the rocks to get it to come out. After a few minutes, the snake slithered out and he picked her up with a capture tool and put her in a bucket. Really appreciate this company as I won't kill rattlers. After all, I moved into their neighborhood and they have their necessary place in nature. read more

We had a rattlesnake in our front yard. Rattlesnake Solutions came within 45 minutes of our call and got the rattlesnake in about 2 minutes. I love writing reviews when companies or employees go beyond the norm to provide good service. Having said that I want to give a shout out to rattlesnake solutions for a job well done. After moving into a new housing development which backs up to south mountain and numerous snake visits to neighbors, we decided to snake proof our yard. We got three bids. Rattlesnake solutions was the middle bid. After reviewing their reviews it was evident they were the company for us. Jill quickly came out and walked our yard and provided a concise estimate. She followed up when I had questions. We made the deal and literally with 24 hours we had our yard snake proofed. Grayson was our installer and he called before his arrival. Once he arrived he got right to work. Greyson is hardworking, knowledgeable, and has a pleasant demeanor. After completing our job, Grayson walked me through each area of our yard explaining all that had been secured. I was very impressed with rattlesnake solutions and would highly recommend them. read more

We had a horrific experience with a rattlesnake hiding under the cell of our patio door and when I opened the door it bumped him and he lunged up and bit my young golden retriever puppy on the face but the scary part is I have 3 other dogs that were right behind her. I was able to drop down and stop them from following suit but we immediately reached out based on the posts I saw on Next Door and engaged the team at Rattlesnake solutions. They were at my house THAT day and got me a quote THAT date via email and I was able to esign it and we got started on securing my 5 acre property in short order. We are so confident in the mesh and project because we found a baby chic and a baby rabbit that had been trapped in due to the new enclosure and had to rescue them to the other side. The level of professionalism and the quality of work is great and I have all the confidence in the world my babies are safe now. Highly recommend. read more

I came across a small rattler in my backyard. Upon contacting Rattlesnake Solutions, my call was answered promptly and I was told Brian would arrive within 30 minutes, which he did! He also checked my entire backyard to insure there were no other snakes lurking around. I also like that they remove the snake and relocate it. I was very pleased with their service and would highly recommend. read more

This is my second review for Rattlesnake Solutions amazing, fast, reliable service. Marisa Maki, an amazing young woman, came to our home within minutes of my call after trapping a young, but pretty good sized male Western Diamond back that made its way into our pantry -- someone did not make sure the patio door was fully shut. We live in the Desert Foothills along a wash ... a beautiful quiet neighborhood, but there is an occasional snake sighting. I am really grateful for this company and the fact that they humanely capture and relocate the snakes properly. Highly recommend! Outstanding service ... I took my dog out onto patio one evening, and heard a sound I had never heard before ... I turned and two feet from where I was standing was a rather large coiled snake hissing and shaking its rattle ... I stepped back in through the glass French doors leading to patio very slowly and managed to get dog in unscathed ... While keeping one eye on snake and scrolling on phone for a service, Rattlesnake Solutions popped up with 24/7 humane capture and relocation service ... I called, was asked to keep an eye on snake until the young man got here ... I live in Ahwatukee Foothills so it took about 1/2 hour. My cats and I sat watching until he arrived. It was a full grown Western Diamondback. The snake was humanely captured and our property was inspected for any more ... all clear! I am calling now to have our curious puppy trained to beware of snakes and not pounce one like the lizard that left its tail under his big paw this morning ... read more

What a terrific company! I learned through Nextdoor about the snake aversion training coordinated by Jill Rials, and I highly recommend it and Jill. It is not inexpensive, but I considered it an important investment, and no payment is requested until the training is complete and successful. My 9 lb. dog is super friendly and curious, so would be likely to want to check out a snake, but would never survive a bite. Jill was a pleasure to work with -- very friendly, responsive, caring and flexible in scheduling. It is a multi-visit process to be sure the dog has learned the lesson. I wasn't sure my dog "got it" the first time, but boy, the 2nd time she was deathly afraid to go anywhere near the snake. I have never seen her that afraid of anything but thunder. The snake is in a clear box, which is well ventilated so the dog gets the scent, but there's no way the snake can escape. Jill uses a remote-activated "shock" collar to admonish the dog when it shows interest in the snake. The setting is safe, and I felt better after watching several YouTube videos of little dogs getting jolted like this. On Jill's advice, I did choose not to do this training for my other small dog, who is elderly with heart problems, but luckily she is also fearful of strange things. If you are hesitant to do this training because of your own personal fear of snakes, I recommend you talk to Jill and others at the company who are so knowledgeable and may help put things in perspective. The set-up is very safe, you barely have to see the snake if you don't want to, and I would just generally say you should try to suck it up for the safety of your pet :-) I also heard company founder Bryan Hughes speak at a community event and would also recommend anyone living in the Valley take advantage if you have the opportunity. He is an excellent speaker with just the right amount of humor inserted to make nervous people a bit more at ease about snakes and to help you retain some of the very useful information. We have yet to need their snake removal services, but I have their number handy for the day I do! read more

After finding a rattlesnake in our backyard they responded within 20 minutes. Our snake had hidden within a boulder display that had eroded underneath, creating numerous crevasses. This did not deter Bryan. He patiently flushed out the area, and our snake emerged. She has been relocated to the desert, and both snake and our family are safe. He also looked around the yard and found several ideal locations for snakes & rodents to nest, so that was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this company. read more

Great company. Jon was very pleasant and if you have any type of snake issue these are the guys to call.

Brian was a lifesaver! Even though my incident was with a small and harmless snake, he did not mock me or make me feel foolish. Highly recommend this team of professionals. No snake too big or too small. Five star service ! read more

I don't know if you will be checking Yelp if you have an unwanted snake in your life but I can tell you there is no need to look anywhere else. These guys came out and removed a snake quickly and professionally. Additionally their rattlesnake awareness course for dogs was simply awesome. We have a small dog and they have a two part course to ensure your dog has learned to steer clear of snakes. You only pay if your dog has learned to stay away. There were no gimmicks or smoke and mirrors. I was with our dog and she clearly knew not to approach the box housing the snake. It is totally safe and I highly recommend this for anyone who lives in AZ and loves their dog. read more

We actually did not have them come out as we weren't sure if the snake had gone back into its hole or had actually left our yard. However, Greg was very helpful over the phone, providing support and suggestions as this was our first snake encounter in our two years here in the desert. Turns out snake came back to our patio a couple hours later and we were able to coax it into pool net (as Greg suggested) and walked it over to desert area and released it. Alex who came out was knowledgeable and answered all my questions, reassuring me that it was unlikely there would be more snakes close by. After google review, I found Rattlesnake solutions on yelp and emailed. Within 24 hours got a response, and soon after set up visit for a quote. Everything went smoothly and professionally.
