Finally, another rescue service that couldn't help us at the time, suggested we try Joe at Lone Wolf. I called and he re-arranged his overloaded schedule to make us his first stop in the morning. He gently corralled the ducklings, but had no luck with the mama, she wanted nothing to do with it and eventually flew away. Joe takes the rescued orphans where he and his family expertly raise them until their old enough to release back in the wild. We have had other experiences with hawks and ducks too!
