We have a house that is situated next to native desert. After finding a baby rattlesnake in our garage a couple of years ago, I went online and found the RS website and signed up for the newsletter. I have read every blog and watched all of the YouTube videos with Bryan and the RS team to learn all that I could about rattlesnakes in the Phoenix area. Somehow that helped me cope with the snake fear. They care about protecting both snakes and people. I appreciate the humane approach to this challenge. We just moved here permanently. I found out about more rattlesnake sightings (our contractor has seen a few) We have a dog - so I decided to invest in RS snake fencing and other mitigation measures. Jill responded right away and came out to look at the property so she could provide a quote. Then we scheduled the job within a week. (Late Feb) RJ came - right on time and finished the install in about 4.5 hours. We have a lot of fencing. The installation was very professional with quality materials. A snake was spotted in our back yard last Nov. He did a thorough snake check to see if it might be somewhere on the property- didn't find one- I will still keep an eye out. RS will come pick up snakes also. This is good to know in case one shows up on my front walkway. (the fencing is around the back and side yard). It requires some investment but for the amount of time and work required to do it right- I think the price is fair. Highly recommend this most interesting company. Shout out to Rattlesnake Solutions! THEY ARE THE VERY BEST! Bryan Hughes, one of the owners, responded right away to my CCIBB post about a poisoneous toad in our pool. He identified it right away via my pictures. Backstory: Rattlesnake Solutions installed our snake fence and poured concrete slabs under our RV gates a few years ago. Beautiful job! It still looks perfect! No snakes. No toads. No evidence of snakes. No opening larger than 1/4 inch! So I was perplexed how a toad and two toad babies got into our yard after a recent rainstorm. Answer: a drainage hole (weep hole) in our view fence that was below the the wall and invisible to the naked eye. He had to dig several inches to find it. He even found a cute non-poisoneous toad that he relocated for me. So they were coming in our yard via the weep hole probably dug out by a rodent and he also found their tunnel system. So BRYAN had one of his installers come and seal that drainage hole up and a few others he discovered by digging to find them. Bayland, the tech, did a great job! Rattlesnake Solutions - Wildlife Control Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

In March 2022, I contacted Rattlesnake Solutions (RS) for a snake fencing quote. Jill came out in a timely manner for the quote. I found her to be friendly and informative, answering all of my questions. The quote was for 403 feet of snake fencing, and two gated entrances, the total cost was $6,119.52 (included a 10% veteran discount - thank you!). The install began about 3 weeks after the quote. The first person came out and trenched the fence line so that the snake fencing could be buried 6-8" below ground; that was a 4-hour process. The next guy came out the same day and addressed the gates by adding snake fencing to the gates, including metal edge guards to cover the gaps on the edges of the gates where they meet the fence, as well as pouring cement in the gate opening, where the bottom of the gate meets the ground; this was a 2-hour process. He came back the next day and installed the 403 feet of snake fencing by screwing it into the existing wrought iron fence. He buried about 6-8" of the snake fencing and left 40" above ground attached to the iron fence. They cemented the snake fencing at the fence corners, as well as where it met the house and the block fence wall. The install of the 403' of fencing took 7 hours. A total of 13 hours of work for the entire project. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome. The only negative I can say (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) is the price is very high, which I knew beforehand, but I knew the install would be done correctly. I received two other quotes for snake fencing prior to signing with RS. One was for about $3,000 MORE than RS, and the other was for $1,970 total. I didn't go with the quote for $1,970 based on speaking to the guy and how he said the install would be done; I knew there would be problems later (this was from the company that I received a quote from to install a wrought iron fence). read more

Last night my puppy Lucky started barking like crazy in the area where we keep our pool maintenance supplies. My hubby went to the area to see what Lucky was barking about and he started to hear the rattling hissing sound. This was a first for us. Immediately we did a google search for the best humane rattlesnake removal place around and this company popped up. Marrisa answered the phone right away and helped me save a baby bull snake from a glue trap. The poor snake was found in the garage at my client's house. I couldn't just leave it so Marissa walked me through how to get him free. Luckily its head wasn't stuck in the trap. I put the trap and snake in an empty dog bowl and covered and filled the bowl with 24 oz of Vegetable oil. Open the top of the trap and added some rocks to hold trap down in oil so snake can wiggle free. He got free and took off!!!! 3 Rattlesnakes on our property in 1st year in desert home in North Scottsdale. Paid (not cheap!) to get large backyard "Rattlesnake-proofed". Michael did an incredible job making it difficult for Rattlers to get into our backyard again (unless, of course, we leave gates open!!). They can show you what they do but essentially, they use quarter-inch wire mesh, steel or concrete where applicable to seal anywhere a snake could sneak into your yard...gates, fence etc. And it doesn't detract, one bit from the aesthetic appeal. Michael was an incredibly hard-worker. Did entire project by himself. Very efficient & professional. It took the better part of 2 days, but we couldn't have been more impressed by the workmanship. Do I expect to see a rattler on our property in the future? Probably. As Rattlesnake Solutions will tell you there is no guarantee they'll never appear again...but I have researched, read (and removed rattlers!) and expect these barriers to be very effective. Awesome. Saw a snake in front yard. My wife nearly peed herself. She was convinced it was the devil himself sent here in the form of a snake to punish our family for not tipping well enough at dinner last week (sorry Applebee's waiter, the service was slow.) While monitoring his advance toward our home from a safe distance, I grabbed my phone to lookup snake removal on Yelp. Found these guys. Before calling, I stopped to tell my wife the snake was now near her leg. Between fits of laughter, I called the number and immediately spoke to a hero snake charmer. It was 7:00 at night, and the guy answered within 60 seconds. That sounds fast, but it was more than enough time for me to update my wife that the snake had now moved into the house (it hadn't, but her tears were worth it). Spoke to the guy for a few seconds when he suggests texting a picture. I gather my courage to confront the beast directly. This company has GREAT customer service. First, I noticed a technical or email issue with getting a quote. One call to Eric and minutes later the proposal was delivered. We had a snake fence installed and the installation process was golden. First, Greg called to talk about the process and make sure we were all on the same page. After my neighbors had snakes and out of concern for my family and dogs, I called Rattlesnake Solutions to come out for a bid to snake proof my backyard which faces an arroyo. They came right out and after walking the property, proposed two solutions. One was cheaper and actually would do the job. The second one was more expensive but gave me better piece of mind. I went with that. Two weeks later Michael came out, sealed up my gate entryway to prevent even baby rattlers getting in. Then he did my open area cinder blocks finishing the big job last: attaching 36" of screen to my wrought iron view fence. Rattlesnakes can and will climb up to 36" high I was told. The job has a very nice professional appearance. When my HOA needs to repaint this fence, I call Rattlesnake Solutions and for $150 they will take it off the day before and put it back up the day after. They totally called my fears. The woman on the phone asked me to take a pix and email it (from inside the house of course) while we were talking. We've lived on the edge of the desert for over a decade and, until recently, were able to peacefully co-exist with the rattlesnakes and other wildlife. That's until a rattlesnake broke the trust by lying in wait just out of sight around the corner outside the kitchen door and ambushed our young puppy as we were going out to the patio. It was a painful and frightening experience, but the puppy survived. The rattlesnakes have been put on notice that they're no longer welcome on our property. Our veterinarian referred us to a good aversion training professional, who then referred us to Rattlesnake Solutions for fencing. The cost was a fraction of what I expected it to be. Even though this is a busy time of year, they were able to schedule the installation very quickly. I had to be out of town, but Nick did all the work while I was away. He called me later to let me know he'd searched our large lot that is hilly and rocky, but had not found any snakes. He warned me about a couple places they might hide so I can correct those. When I returned home, I was very pleased with the quality of installation. He'd installed a concrete curb under the gate at the side of the house. There were a couple of places where the gaps between wooden slats on the gate were just barely wide enough that I worried a tiny snake might get through. Nick didn't think they could, but quickly offered to come back out and put mesh across the gate as well. I wanted to pay for the additional time and materials, but he wouldn't accept additional payment for that. We're still watching out for snakes, but for the first time in months, we aren't afraid to go outside or let the dogs go out with us.
