While hiking up Thunderbird Mountain, I stumbled upon a rattlesnake that someone had dropped a rock on. It was alive but unable to free itself. I called 5 different places ( park ranger, non emergency police , wildlife offices, and a few companies), none of which would help. I spoke to Marissa from Rattlesnake Solutions, and she showed up, removed the rock, and the snake. I am not sure if the snake will live, but she was gental and caring. My hats are off to the company for keeping her on!!!!!!! read more

Jeff at Rattlesnake Solutions made a 10:30pm call to our house to relocate a pregnant western diamondback. It took about 30 seconds for Jeff to find her and remove her safely. Jeff spent several minutes with us discussing her and where he would take her. We found it absolutely fascinating and loved being more educated. Through Rattlesnake Solution, I have found a much deeper respect and fondness of these beautiful desert creatures. Thank you! read more

Rattlesnake Solutions - Wildlife Control Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Early eve of Dec 5th I had the shock of my life as I came face-to-literal-face with a 4' long diamondback rattlesnake in my yard. Gratefully both of us were stunned enough not to do anything rash- he didn't strike out @ me and after I resumed normal heart & respiratory rate I scrambled to find my phone & called Rattlesnake Solutions. Within 15-20 mins a kind, calm young lady, Marisa showed up @ our house to rescue both of us. After gently placing him into her lidded bucket she took the time to educate me & my family about snakes, the plan to relocate him to nearby South Mountain, as well as walking around our property to investigate the possibility of other snakes & prey that would attract snakes. A few weeks later, after watching the informational videos on their website & the research that has gone into the best made rattlesnake prevention products- we decided to book an appointment with Eric- an experienced expert with Rattlesnake Solutions- who came to our home, in the daytime, and recommended options for us to prevent other unwanted guests from enjoying our backyard. We opted to respect that reptiles are more than welcome to visit on the other side of our property and scheduled a time for an installer to put up snake fencing. Gratefully, despite the hectic timing of holiday activities, we were able to book an installation shortly afterwards, with Grant. He showed up right on time, worked quickly and independently, and when he was finished with the fence installation he walked the property, again, assuring us that the venomous snakes wouldn't be able to access our backyard again. The fencing looks amazing- quite pretty actually. Overall, we were very pleased and impressed with the professionalism of all 3 of these employees. We are grateful to have had them available to us in a high time of stress and fear- and each of their calming demeanors put us at ease. We 100% recommend this company and team of experts to anyone interested in having a peace of mind while living in our gorgeous desert community! I've already referred our landscaper to them- (you can imagine how many times they've come across scary situations in their line of work!) Thank you Rattlesnake Solutions! You've done an amazing job- and I hope never to need you again! read more

In March 2022, I contacted Rattlesnake Solutions (RS) for a snake fencing quote. Jill came out in a timely manner for the quote. I found her to be friendly and informative, answering all of my questions. The quote was for 403 feet of snake fencing, and two gated entrances, the total cost was $6,119.52 (included a 10% veteran discount - thank you!). The install began about 3 weeks after the quote. The first person came out and trenched the fence line so that the snake fencing could be buried 6-8" below ground; that was a 4-hour process. The next guy came out the same day and addressed the gates by adding snake fencing to the gates, including metal edge guards to cover the gaps on the edges of the gates where they meet the fence, as well as pouring cement in the gate opening, where the bottom of the gate meets the ground; this was a 2-hour process. He came back the next day and installed the 403 feet of snake fencing by screwing it into the existing wrought iron fence. He buried about 6-8" of the snake fencing and left 40" above ground attached to the iron fence. They cemented the snake fencing at the fence corners, as well as where it met the house and the block fence wall. The install of the 403' of fencing took 7 hours. A total of 13 hours of work for the entire project. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome. The only negative I can say (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) is the price is very high, which I knew beforehand, but I knew the install would be done correctly. I received two other quotes for snake fencing prior to signing with RS. One was for about $3,000 MORE than RS, and the other was for $1,970 total. I didn't go with the quote for $1,970 based on speaking to the guy and how he said the install would be done; I knew there would be problems later (this was from the company that I received a quote from to install a wrought iron fence). read more

Fast, efficient & put our mind at ease. She found the rattlesnake hiding & took care of business. Highly recommend!

We have a house that is situated next to native desert. After finding a baby rattlesnake in our garage a couple of years ago, I went online and found the RS website and signed up for the newsletter. I have read every blog and watched all of the YouTube videos with Bryan and the RS team to learn all that I could about rattlesnakes in the Phoenix area. Somehow that helped me cope with the snake fear. They care about protecting both snakes and people. I appreciate the humane approach to this challenge. We just moved here permanently. I found out about more rattlesnake sightings (our contractor has seen a few) We have a dog - so I decided to invest in RS snake fencing and other mitigation measures. Jill responded right away and came out to look at the property so she could provide a quote. Then we scheduled the job within a week. (Late Feb) RJ came - right on time and finished the install in about 4.5 hours. We have a lot of fencing. The installation was very professional with quality materials. A snake was spotted in our back yard last Nov. He did a thorough snake check to see if it might be somewhere on the property- didn't find one- I will still keep an eye out. RS will come pick up snakes also. This is good to know in case one shows up on my front walkway. (the fencing is around the back and side yard). It requires some investment but for the amount of time and work required to do it right- I think the price is fair. Highly recommend this most interesting company. They clearly have a passion for what they do. And I highly recommend the YouTube videos and blogs. They are fascinating! read more

Last night my puppy Lucky started barking like crazy in the area where we keep our pool maintenance supplies. My hubby went to the area to see what Lucky was barking about and he started to hear the rattling hissing sound. This was a first for us. Immediately we did a google search for the best humane rattlesnake removal place around and this company popped up. The owner, Brian, answered the phone, and yes it was Saturday night, listened to our story and was at our front door within 30 minutes. Brian was friendly, knowledgeable and a true professional. He went to the hole where the snake (according to him it was still a teenager) was burrowing and put a little water in the hole and voila, out came the snake. Brian coaxed the snake into a bucket he brought with him, took a photo for us (told him I wanted to post it on FB) and was done in less then 30 minutes. The best part about this was that Brian told us he was going to take the snake and release it in a nice, safe area for the snake. Get this, he even posted a video on his FB page, releasing our teenage snake. We watched the whole thing and was wow'ed how much care and thoughtfulness he put into the release of the snake. While snakes are not on the top of my favorite animal list, I am a fan of wildlife and how Brian handled the snake in a safe and humane way. He's just the best. read more

I am impressed. We had Taylor out to our house yesterday to make our backyard safer from rattlesnakes. He and the other 2 people who helped him we very friendly, knew what they were doing and did a very professional job. The quality of the work was excellent. The fencing and cement work are as good as it gets. To top it off, they raked up their footprints in the gravel before they left. My neighbor had them do his backyard and the price was very reasonable, so I decided to try them too. Glad I did. read more

Rattlesnake Solutions installed my existing snake fence last year & did an outstanding job! However, after having pavers installed recently, I needed them to come back out and repair the gap left at the gate area from the paver installation. Rattlesnake Solutions did an exceptional job on shoring up the gaps and making my yard snake proof once again. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am terrified of snakes. I can handle just about anything else but not a snake. I called last night, and you answered the phone immediately. 3 Rattlesnakes on our property in 1st year in desert home in North Scottsdale. Paid (not cheap!) to get large backyard "Rattlesnake-proofed". Michael did an incredible job making it difficult for Rattlers to get into our backyard again (unless, of course, we leave gates open!!). They can show you what they do but essentially, they use quarter-inch wire mesh, steel or concrete where applicable to seal anywhere a snake could sneak into your yard...gates, fence etc. And it doesn't detract, one bit from the aesthetic appeal. Michael was an incredibly hard-worker. Did entire project by himself. Very efficient & professional. It took the better part of 2 days, but we couldn't have been more impressed by the workmanship. Do I expect to see a rattler on our property in the future? Probably. As Rattlesnake Solutions will tell you there is no guarantee they'll never appear again...but I have researched, read (and removed rattlers!) and expect these barriers to be very effective. If I didn't, I wouldn't have paid for this service. read more

Marrisa answered the phone right away and helped me save a baby bull snake from a glue trap. The poor snake was found in the garage at my client's house. I couldn't just leave it so Marissa walked me through how to get him free. Luckily its head wasn't stuck in the trap. I put the trap and snake in an empty dog bowl and covered and filled the bowl with 24 oz of Vegetable oil. Open the top of the trap and added some rocks to hold trap down in oil so snake can wiggle free. He got free and took off!!!! Marissa said after he sheds his skin the next time he should be all good!!!! Thank goodness!!!! Please please please don't use glue traps!!!!!!!! read more

Shout out to Rattlesnake Solutions! THEY ARE THE VERY BEST! Bryan Hughes, one of the owners, responded right away to my CCIBB post about a poisoneous toad in our pool. He identified it right away via my pictures. Backstory: Rattlesnake Solutions installed our snake fence and poured concrete slabs under our RV gates a few years ago. Beautiful job! It still looks perfect! No snakes. No toads. No evidence of snakes. No opening larger than 1/4 inch! So I was perplexed how a toad and two toad babies got into our yard after a recent rainstorm. Answer: a drainage hole (weep hole) in our view fence that was below the the wall and invisible to the naked eye. He had to dig several inches to find it. He even found a cute non-poisoneous toad that he relocated for me. So they were coming in our yard via the weep hole probably dug out by a rodent and he also found their tunnel system. So BRYAN had one of his installers come and seal that drainage hole up and a few others he discovered by digging to find them. Bayland, the tech, did a great job! This company demonstrates integrity and they responded immediately to my plea for help. Many thanks to Bryan Hughes with Rattlesnake Solutions! They are the best and I couldn't be happier knowing my pups are safe in their yard. (of course, they are not outside without me keeping a watchful eye on them with hawks, bobcats, etc in the area) read more

When you're sitting on your Scottsdale patio and a 4' rattlesnake slithers close to your foot like he owns the place, I realized he really did own the place. My yard backs-up to a big wash and open desert -- it finally hit me. There's plenty of mice, rabbits, chipmunks, small birds to keep any desert predator happy, including big diamondbacks. If we wanted to enjoy our new home, I'd have to take action. It didn't taken much research to call Rattlesnake Solutions for a chat. I was struck by their helpful attitude -- not a sales pitch, but simply caring help. I decided to have an expert drop by for a site survey. Every question was answered, a solution was reasonably priced (for the amount of work!), and our front porch and entire backyard are now snake-proof. Everyone connected to Rattlesnake Solutions is a snake expert. I learned why they do what they do -- snake limitations, tendencies, general behavior. While I'm more cautious outside the sanctuary of my snake fence, I'm also more confident where/when to do yard work. How to check bushes for snakes, which bushes to cut-back or remove. In short, Rattlesnake Solutions is a one-stop shop! read more

Awesome. Saw a snake in front yard. My wife nearly peed herself. She was convinced it was the devil himself sent here in the form of a snake to punish our family for not tipping well enough at dinner last week (sorry Applebee's waiter, the service was slow.) While monitoring his advance toward our home from a safe distance, I grabbed my phone to lookup snake removal on Yelp. Found these guys. Before calling, I stopped to tell my wife the snake was now near her leg. Between fits of laughter, I called the number and immediately spoke to a hero snake charmer. It was 7:00 at night, and the guy answered within 60 seconds. That sounds fast, but it was more than enough time for me to update my wife that the snake had now moved into the house (it hadn't, but her tears were worth it). Spoke to the guy for a few seconds when he suggests texting a picture. I gather my courage to confront the beast directly. It may have been my fear, but I swear the snake smiled and said "pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name." With snake selfie in hand, I text the pic to the snake hero. Moments later, he replied with the best news my wife heard since learning of my rich uncle with cancer and no known heirs, the snake was simple gopher snake. Harmless. Suffice it to say, these guys made no money from me, yet saved my night. Will definitely call when Satan returns. read more

We had Rattlesnake Solutions come out and install snake fencing around our backyard, and gate a few months ago, and have not had any trouble with snakes getting into our yard. But today I'm writing this review because our gate had started dragging on the pavers, to a point where I could no longer close the gate, leaving us vulnerable to snakes having access to our yard. I called Rattlesnake Solutions, and Eric responded within the hour to make all necessary adjustments to the gate, and mad us secure again! This company has GREAT customer service. First, I noticed a technical or email issue with getting a quote. One call to Eric and minutes later the proposal was delivered. We had a snake fence installed and the installation process was golden. First, Greg called to talk about the process and make sure we were all on the same page. Then during the install he was gracious despite the fact our intimidating dog came to say "hi" a couple times. We were not thrilled about color of a few metal pieces and this bothered Greg so much that he reached out to tell us he was returning to "make it right" . I would highly recommend this company for all your rattlesnake barrier needs. read more
