my name is Ann Wood of Mesa, Az. We came home and found a small snake in our home. The snake had bitten my much beloved cat and it looked just like a baby rattlesnake! We called 911 on my sisters insistence and of course they do NOT remove snakes but they gave me Nick Massimo, the snake guru's phone number. I called at 9pm and he came out immediately. He was there rapidly which was amazing because i was in contact with the emergency vets and they had given me dire warnings about my cats health! Nick's rapid arrival was essential. Nick was the kindest most professional and informed professional. The snake was a desert night snake, thank god. Nick took the snake. He educated us not just about the snake but about our entire property, all included with the service. He illuminated his light on every opening to the house. He educated us on necessary mitigation (ie; weather stripping,....). He educated us on what greenery in the yard could create habitat for the snake, ie; lantana is a beloved snake habitat, ugh. This man is who you want to call when you are horribly surprised by wild life. He responds rapidly regardless of time of day or nite. He was coming all the way from Phoenix and I live almost in Apache Junction. He charged $200 for that distance and late nite call. If it had been a day call and closer I believe it would have been like $125. I think it was well worth it! Now I can seal those opening in my home at the doors, stem wall and garage doors and make sure my yard plants are not an open invitation to unwelcome guests. Thank you Nick.
