They give you a HUGE serving of rice with your curry. So many Indian restaurants charge extra for rice with a curry, and that annoys me to no end. Just build the rice into the price of the curry! Okay, rant over, because this place gets it right. The shrimp biryani gets an A+++. What impressed me most was that it didn't taste like they used one generic biryani base and tossed shrimp in after the order came in. It was obvious the shrimp had actually been cooked with the biryani, so the flavor was incorporated throughout. And they were NOT skimpy with the shrimp...there were shrimp throughout the entire dish. The people here are just as impressive as the food. Everyone is genuinely customer-centric, constantly checking in without being overbearing, and you can tell they actually care whether you're enjoying your meal. Honestly, everything we've tried has been good, hence us coming back the very next night! And DO NOT skip dessert. Get the gulab jamun with rose ice cream.
