I have to state I've been in here on 4 occasions. I appreciate the prompt service, as I had my iPhone x screen changed twice on the spot. I believe the prices went up recently so expect a bump also these are non tax included transactions. My disappointment came when I returned to get an iPad mini 4 screen replaced. Keep in mind I inquired about it while getting the iPhone repairs. I returned , I was given an increase in price and I went ahead with the service it was only like $10 and the service prior had been decent. Well they replaced my screen and didn't install the home button properly and also left it with ghost touch and also an issue that forced my screen to close as if I was pressing the on/off button. All Clearly new screen related. I returned it and I was met with skepticism by Cesar, I guess the owner? He was ready to dismiss it until he seen the crappy home screen button. He quickly claimed the button issue was NOT screen related instead of just looking at it. The home button was lined up but my screen ghost touches and cuts off by itself. I think this business has been growing, and the service is becoming lackluster. Both times I picked the I pad up there was the glue or either seal still on the screen. No attempt at cleaning it off. A few months back I had dropped my Iphone and it landed on a corner of the case, cracking the screen! Oh noes!! I was suddenly "One of those people". I had never broken a screen before and was kinda bummed. I had checked into repairs at a couple mall kiosks bhere but got a bad case of sticker shock for replacing my Iphone 8 Plus screen. Our son dropped my husband's phone really hard on the ground and even with a screen protector, he managed to damage it pretty bad. The screen went completely out with faded lines on it. We were worried the phone was done but I sent a message to RASelectronics through Yelp and within 10 minutes I received a response. I explained the situation and was told they could replace the screen and it would fix the phone and quoted me $80. This was the cheapest quote we got out of several places we reached out to. Super good price for iPhone 11 screen replacement. $60-$250 less than other places quoted. The guy was really nice and had everything done in 10 minutes. He gets people in and out quickly. The place is clean and has nice seating and even has a water cooler. He has all the parts and accessories on deck. I left with a new screen, an OtterBox case and a glass screen cover for $140 when other people quoted me literally $360 dollars just for the screen and it wasn't even in stock. Excellent experience today at RASelectronics. My charging port has progressively been getting more and more finicky. I called RASelectronics and talked to Cesar this morning. He quoted me over the phone, verified he had my part in stock, and I dropped my phone off. I ran some errands and in about an hour the phone was ready for pickup. When I picked up the phone I was told I had a 1-year warranty and to come back in should I have any trouble with the phone again. It's good to know there is a great repair shop here in town -- I had been going to the Sprint repair center over the years and always left feeling like they were doing me a favor by attempting to repair my phone, most of the time they could not repair it and only wanted to sell me an upgrade. I would give NEGATIVE 5 stars if such option is available WARNING. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE TO FIX YOUR PHONE. This is not a mobile phone repair shop. It's simply a place for glass replacement. Also, they are not even some honest business owner. Cut the long story short. My phone worked perfectly fine with the shattered front glass, brought the phone here for the glass replacement, they put on some non-Apply certified glass WHICH THEY'VE NEVER MENTIONED, and then the phone STOPPED working COMPLETELY. They also have ZERO Sincerity to this issue. Now, I need to deal with them through a small claim court. The full detail: My iPhone X dropped on the floor on 02/25/2020, and the screen was cracked. The phone still worked. I couldn't still play a mobile game with it. No problem with watching videos, texting, and answering the phone. It's just the shattered glass that bothered me. Brought the phone here for the front glass replacement the next morning, and they finished it within 20 mins. The phone worked perfectly fine for the 2-3 hours. Then a serious problem occurred. First, the touchscreen stopped working periodically. I could still see the video going and the music playing, but the touchscreen wasn't responding, periodically. Then the phone became super-hot, and the temperature warning message popped up. I restarted the phone; the issue was still the same. The touchscreen was not responding and the phone got really heat up. These two problems repeated non-stop for hours, and the touch screen was dead. It did not respond AT ALL. At this point, the lock button still works. I could still use Siri, still able to answer calls with audio control, still able to use the Apple pay with the lock button double clicks. The only thing that wasn't working is the touch screen. Brought the phone back to this spot the next day, they tried 2-3 new screens and told me "The motherboard is having an issue. Must be some short circuit issue." I was like, ok, but it never had this issue before the glass was shattered, did not have this issue when the glass was broken, and it only has this issue until the touch screen was replaced. And UNTIL THIS POINT, they still never mention the replaced glass IS NON-APPLE CERTIFIED. Anyway, I brought the phone back to Apple for them to check and realized the replaced screen wasn't even Apple certified, and Apple cannot do anything about it until an Apple certified screen is put on the phone. I reached the store again. Guess what they told me? "Oh, no problem we can put on an Apple certified glass for you, YOU JUST NEED TO PAY FOR THE DIFFERENCE." I questioned them whether the phone is going to work as it should be if I pay them to put on the Apple certified glass. THE ANSWER IS NO, they insist the motherboard had an issue, so there is no guarantee the phone is going to work. SURE, I've never had any motherboard issue until this place put a non-Apple certified glass on the phone. They've argued with me back and forth, and the last respond they gave me was "We can put on the Apple certified screen for you, so you can take the phone to Apple for the motherboard problem. If Apple is not able to fix the phone, we will refund you the screen." SURE THING, what a tricky promise. Of course Apple can fix the phone because they will always let the customer replace the phone with a certain price or replace the entire motherboard. It's just going to cost me $400 to fix the motherboard or replace the phone. This promise is nothing but cheap words. And let me point out one OBVIOUS FACT. If you told me it's a non-Apple certified product and the risk with it, or simply replace it with an Apple-certified glass, NONE OF THIS WOULD HAPPEN. So ya, basically I brought my phone here, paid them, and the phone is now dead. DEAD. So, I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEIR SERVICE. read more

I contacted RAS electronics for a front and back glass fracture on my iPhone XR and brought it in 5/19 a 3 hour job. When I got the phone home I noticed the volume down button did not work so I contacted them immediately told them it was hard to be without a phone again for that long of a period, work, etc. owner said it was fine bring it in when I could they would fix for me. i'm reviewing on behalf of my cousin bec. she doesnt use yelp, but i was with her when we came to his place, i've known him through facebook messenger, he was quick to respond and very helpful, also fast and efficient. my cousin was having trouble with her iphone 6 battery, and instead of going to apple to get the $29 replacement. he was charging $35, but here's why.. bec. he can only do it in 10-15 min. and you're able to use your phone right away. FYI, apple is charging $29, but in order to get that, they have to order it from their factory, you'll have to wait for a few days until they get it replaced. so this is why he charges more. its still affordable and cheap, compared to other stores. He was also selling a fast charging, magnetic, will never rip iphone/android phone cable for $10. with a 1-year warranty. it has extensions for the iOS, android, and usb-c. thats also a plus for me, cuz i can use that for my nintendo switch! anyway, thanks for your awesome service and if you ever need to design your business cards, come to me with a decent price and i'll return the favor. ;) read more
