This place is a sh*thole. Avoid it at all costs. Food is below average, even for Cleveland. Poor customer service and even worse food.

The Employees and Managers are unprofessional and rude. It took 2 hours past the delivery time to get my food. Someone in the kitchen was yelling at me once I called to see where my order was. Once I spent almost 15 dollars on a meal, they gave me the wrong one and less than what I ordered. So when I called back the manager told me there was nothing they could do. great food and service. just around the corner of the Choice Hotel in downtown Cleveland. half a block away. we initially thought it was carry out or delivery only but whe we walked down to pick it up we found out they have a dining area. we ended up eating in and purchasing drinks and a cheesecake in addition to our original order. the staff was excellent. great burgers and fries. the cheesecake was delicious too. clean dining area. we ordered online and it was very easy. read more

My mother is a patient at Cleveland Clinic. We are in town every 2 weeks for treatment and decided to have a pizza delivery one night to the Holiday inn on campus. After calling and placing our order, being CLEAR that we are at the Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic, the delivery driver showed up at the downtown location. They called our cell phone and said they couldn't find our room. Well after figuring out they were at the wrong location they told us they do not deliver to the clinic location. Ok, fair enough, would have been nice to know that before they took $35.99 out of our account. They promised to refund the money and never did! We called back several times and was promised the same and never happened! Horrible management. Beware!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised to be invited to The Rascal House's "Tasting Party" today, to sample their new "Spicy Chicken Bleu Trio" Menu items! I have always loved The Rascal House's Pizza (which I think is the best in the city of Cleveland) and their sandwich platters very delicious as well! Also, The Rascal House's food presentation is absolutely stunning! My favorite Spicy Chicken Bleu Trio item is the Sandwich Wrap! It isn't quite as spicy as the rest of the new menu items. Perhaps, the wonderful wrap bread cools the spice down just a bit. The flavors are wonderful, the wrap bread is delicious--and it is the perfect compliment to the spicy chicken and delectable Bleu Cheese! My second favorite food item is is the Spicy Chicken Bleu Cheese Sandwich. The crunch of the tasty chicken and the flavor of red onion adds a delicious flavor enhancement, which made my soul happy! Also, the red onion compliments the Bleu Cheese, and adds a wonderful zest. The Spicy Chicken Bleu Pizza is good, and the spice is over-the-top! Spicy food lovers will enjoy it. I love the ambience of this restaurant, because it takes me back to my college days--since it is located in the heart of downtown Cleveland--directly across the street from Cleveland State University's Campus, and steps away from the beautiful PlayHouse Square District. Additionally, I love the staff here! They are all so very friendly! Parking is free during the weekdays, for an hour, if you can find a parking spot on the street out front. 1st time here. Got chocolate oreo milkshake and 6 boneless wings, mild bbq with ranch. Total was $11 something. Shake is nothing special and very sugary. Consistency is abt like steak n shake ones. If i lived in the area, i would not get again. Wings cooked right. Actually got 7 instead of 6. They took forever to come out though and they were dead. Mild bbq ... don't expect sweet bbq. They still have a lil kick (a lil sting on lips) kind of thing. Really cool vibe place and lots of varieties, but not really impressed or wowed either. read more

I have worked in the greater cleveland area for 4 years and always heard about rascal house and never did it occur to me to order because there was always a dominoes and a Pizza Hut close by, one day I felt like something different and I'm glad I made that decision because the Pizza was perfect the pepperonis were nice and crisp and the bacon had small hints of smoke in it and I don't believe you can get that from the competitors in the area. rascal house will always be by go to pizza place when working in Cleveland and when Someone needs an recommendation. read more

Many of the customers, employees and even some managers have expressed to the general manager that there needs to be a security guard at night, every night, because that's how dangerous it can get. Even if police or campus security was called to settle a situation most of the time they wouldn't make it in time. The food is great but expensive, although the pizza can be pretty doughy/ uncooked at times, customer service is fair, and it's a friendly environment usually. read more

This place sucks!!! Ordered one cheese pizza for delivery and they brought us 2 - for $34!!!!!! A huge rip off. For $34 those pizzas should have been at least edible. Rascal House is awesome. They're open until 2:30 AM, so if you get to Cleveland late, you have a terrific option. My mom and I were in Cleveland for a visit to the cancer center, and we arrived too late and too tired to eat anywhere. We stayed at the Tudor Arms, which I highly recommend, and Steven the manager told us Rascal House delivered and was open late. We got a delicious pizza with hella pepperoni on it, some cheese and bacon bread and a salad. The pizza was great! The pepperoni was tasty and just the right amount of greasy, the sauce was yummy, and the crust was done all the way through: not slimy or doughy unlike some pizza places... (I'm looking at you, Pizza Hut.) They use provolone cheese on the pizza we got and that was a nice touch. The salad was tasty and cool and super fresh. The cheese bread was crispy and had a nice amount of bacon on it, although I don't think having too much bacon is an issue. Bacon is extra, but bacon is worth it. The price is reasonable for a pizza, and your food is hot when you get it. (I'm still looking at you, Pizza Hut.) I will definitely eat at Rascal House again when we come back to Cleveland. read more

Slow AF!!! Dropped in to get a pizza and run back to work with it. I was told it would take about 15 minutes. After twenty I go to the counter to check on my order. Obviously somebody F'ed up and nobody had even begun to make my pie. They said it was " in the oven" All said and done I got my pizza with just enough time ( an hour after placing my order) to get back to work and eat my pizza while I work. Literally the worst online ordering website I have ever had the abysmal misfortune of having to use. Simply will not let you check out using a coupon code, giving you the "Must be $8 or more" error indefinitely. Despite that, have ordered lunch from here a half dozen times, have had to call them a half dozen times because it's wrong. Every.Single.Time. Delivery driver acts like it's your fault the order is wrong when they run the items back out to you, that you ordered the first time, that you paid for, that the place couldn't put in the bag the first time. Same deal with larger catering events. Have had them cater 20+ lunches three times, have had the totally wrong wings delivered three times. read more

For several years, I've placed big orders for my students during finals week. Pizza is darn good--wings are DARN GOOD. (Maybe awesome. Yeah.) It's not different and unique--it is just excellent in the quick and good category. What keeps me from giving five stars? I signed up so that I could order online (big orders!) and whenever I tried to check out, I was forbidden--"phone number required." I had listed a phone number, and went back to double-check--but wasn't allowed to get to the profile screen to fix anything that needs fixing. I wanted to use my online ordering discount, but ended up having to phone my orders in. The person I talked to did her best to help me and could not. She gave me the number for Corporate, which I called. I described the problem and was told I'd be called back--I wasn't (at least my phone shows nothing.) That said, my situation was unusual and when my order was delivered, "Skinny Santa" in full regalia came along and distributed coupons to my students and to me--a discount for the future. Overall, I recommend this Rascal House and plan to order from it in the future--and to try whatever is on the menu. (Did I mention how good the wings are? DARN GOOD!!) read more

This pizza is ok at the very best. Somehow by 9:00pm, most of the food places around the hotel in which we were staying had closed. This was seemingly the only one open and delivering. We ordered a large pie and a 6 pack of coca-cola. The delivery was fast than expected. The delivery guy even included plates and napkins (thoughtful bonus!!!). However.... The coca-cola was warm. Not even cool, but warm, like never had been refrigerated. Ugh. The pizza itself is akin to Papa John's (yuck) crust topped with Pizza Hut (bigger yuck) sauce and cheese. I choked down a sliver, stuck with my cold water and went to bed. If you're fan of warm beverages and either of those chains, you'll love this place! Otherwise, hit the vending machine instead and save $20. read more

Well we ordered our food and half our order came. She took our cash first and then she responded with, "shoot, I'll be right back." Because an item was missing. 20-30 minutes later we called the store. Answer: "Whether she was planning to or not she will with the chicken." ... Whether she was planning to? Okay, well that's not right. And they offered no discount or other compensation. Not great service. But to be fair the pizza was decent Can't tell you how the chicken is, haven't been able to try it.
